I stopped by this Vans store last night to take a look at their skateboards while waiting for my friends to arrive to eat dinner. I never been to this Vans location inside Burbank mall so I wanted to check out their skateboard. They were not busy at all for a Friday night so when I walked in, I was the only guest inside. Guy at the door was really rude as I was walking in. I was just walking around trying to shop and the guy was trying to argue with my friends who were walking around with me. It's all so cute. What should I do? I know, I'll get everything! I have 3 pairs and I wear them every day. The service is great and you can find the workers scattered around the store. There are so many different pairs and colors. It's expensive but worth it. They have platformed shoes, high tops, and slip ons! I love this brand of shoes! I love the designs because they have so many colors. Vans make me feel happy and confident. All of my College Roommates have Vans. I just convinced my parents to buy a pair and now they wear them every day. My favorite pair of Vans that I have are white high tops with sunflowers at the soles. My older sister doesn't do and sports so almost all she wears are Vans. Vans are very fashionable with jeans and baggy shirts . I like to wear my high tops with my favorite dress . We initially walked in because my boyfriend wanted to buy a new pair of vans. The sales associate that assisted us was Karla, she's super friendly and helpful. Karla informed us of their on going sale BOGO 50% off, when my boyfriend couldn't find his second pair I excitedly jumped in and started looking. I tried on a pair of high top vans and Karla offered to help lace me up. They unfortunately didn't have my size in the color I wanted, but Karla checked online and said the sale would still be valid and the shoe would be shipped to our home. We went today to get my 5 year old son a pair of shoes. Unfortunately they didn't have the model we wanted. We asked if we can try on different sizes of similar model so we can order online and won't make a mistake with sizing. Associate name Carl was super helpful. He knew we weren't buying anything at the store but still went out of his way to bring 2 different sizes for my son and also 2 different style of shoes so we can get better idea. who does that lately?! I'm so used to sale reps not caring especially when you know you're not purchasing or receiving any commission. He also played with my 2 year old which kept him entertained and I was able to make my decision. He helped us order the item at the store. I was able to walk out of the store and purchase the item I wanted it with him through online. He made this experience so smooth and satisfying! There have been a few times I've come in where they didn't have the shoes I was looking for, but the employees have always been so quick to look it up in their system to find other nearby locations that might have them or to even place an order for me. They most definitely have the largest selection of Vans in my neck of the woods. They are generally well stocked. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their merchandise. Sometimes, they don't have exactly what I'm looking for, exactly when I'm looking for it (since I'm usually going there to get shoes for my son and he is very particular about his Vans - likes the surf style vans, without the vulcanized sole... also likes the hemp Vans)... but I generally can find something close enough. I always find my size in this store and find the sales team friendly. They usually have the new models as well as the classic ones. Vans shoes are very comfortable and easy to walk in. I put my canvas ones in the washing machine when they get dirty and when I take them out they look new again. Not as expensive as some "designer' tennis shoes but just as good quality. read more

I came into this store with my nephew to exchange a pair of shoes, I had very little help getting different sizes. We were never greeted, no one was smiling. I was asked once for a different size and then I had to wait to even spot an employee. When I asked for a different size some from an employee she never once smiled or even looked like she wanted to be there. Then the cashier, again, no greet, no hello. I've never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a store before. It was such a crappy experience for my family & I. I'm a little confused on the customer service here... Whenever I go to a Vans store elsewhere, I get all of the employees jumping on me trying to sell me a shoe. This wasn't the case here. I actually needed someone to come help me get a shoe from the back, but no one was to be found. I had to go to the cashier and let him know, when someone who looked like a customer just jumped into my convo and got me the shoe frm the back. I came back to the store about 2 hours later to buy another pair of shoes (last minute christmas gift), and once again, no one was to be found to help me out. But once I did go to the register, the person who rang me up was really energetic and nice to me. read more

I love van shoes PERIOD! The burbank location has almost all the new styles and colors ... The store is always nice and clean, and I am always greeted very promptly the moment I enter the establishment ... Unless they are BUSY but which I understand ... The staff is very knowledgeable abut all the different shoes and styles and always let you know what is on sale and so fourth ... Only thing about this store is there aren't much clearance stuff ... My daughter needed some new shoes and she wanted VANS. I took her to the vans store at the Topanga mall but she couldn't find any. This store had a much bigger selection at this location. Every time I come this store I'm always greeted, asked for help on sizes and they always answer my question and takes the time to look for the shoes if they don't have them in any of the sizes I'm asking for at another store. On Saturday a gentlemen helped me out and I did not get his name but he was so patient and helpful. The last two times we've been here, they've been out of boys slip on shoes in almost every size. When do they restock? They never know why they're out of stock nor when the shoes will be in. This is the most basic style Vans sneaker and for kids, almost a necessity here in California...come on! Customer service is always questionable...someone's on a personal phone call while they fold shirts, The one person who eventually has time to help you is in the back for quite a bit looking for the one shoe you've requested.
