I worked so hard all day to get to all the sports, make all the food, clean up the house afterwards and I raced to Kohls to do an Amazon return before I had to be back at home to put my baby to bed. I ran up to the door and my watch said 8:58 (they closed that night at 9:00) and the manager wouldn't let me in. He said they were closed. I showed him my phone and said it's wasn't 9:00 yet. He said, sorry they were already shut down back there in the back. I said, " We'll what time do you close then?" He answers back 9:00 and I said again, " but it's not 9:00". If you are open to 9:00, be open until that time. How will I know when I'm wasting gas again by going up there close to closing time? Is five minutes to 9:00 enough? Ten? What point of reference am I to use besides the closing time posted on the door? read more

The Whitelake location has that employee Karla who is so rude and lazy. When speaking to my friends, they have had similar horrible experiences in dealing with her at the customer service desk. She definitely needs to retake her customer training and be reminded, that the customers are the reason she is there. It's not like the store is very busy anymore, she is just lazy and makes the customers wait unnecessarily, while she takes her time. It's sad that there are people like her representing Kohls. read more

I really love Kohls, and this store was no exception. But when I say they have a lot of merchandise in such small areas-they do. Made me feel claustrophobic, and wanting to leave the store because it was very overwhelming. It was also kind of disorganized in the different departments as well. I have enjoyed to visit to this location. On my first visit I was greeted with a lot of assistance. The associate that helped me, was friendly, courteous and had good suggestions. I encourage you to visit this location and enjoy an experience like I had. One item was out of stock, but the associate hopefully place the order for free delivery to my home right there in the store. I'm looking forward to receiving it in the next couple of days. I enjoy shopping at this Kohls. They have a great selection of women's clothing and shoes. Kohls has some fantastic sales plus Kohls cash! My boyfriend needed a suit for an interview and after coming up empty handed at JC Penneys we went to Kohls. Kohls has an great selection of men's suits in all sizes and they look nice quality. My boyfriend found a great suit, shirt and tie, and shoes for his interview. I bought a cool pair of Sonoma brand healed penny loafer style shoes on clearance for less than $6 and got a beautiful pair of Clarks that I found elsewhere online for over $90 for less than $55 at Kohls. This Kohls has a great selection and great deals. The fittings room and store were tidy as well on my visit. read more

I called Kohl's the next day and spoke with the store manager Cheyenne and she listened closely to my concerns, apologized and asked me to come back in so she could make the return. She told me that the return could have and should have been made with my driver's license. I've had to return a dress that I was going to wear for my sister's thirtieth birthday party recently, and when I went to wear it, the zipper snagged on the wire of my door! I quickly ran to the store to exchange it and this young girl quickly helped me find a replacement. She was so quick and efficient! Don't take to heart the other reviews. I've always had a good experience whenever I shop here. If you're going to blame low staff or lack of certain products then you've obviously never worked a retail job in your life and blame these people beyond their control. This is the best Kohls I've ever been to! They almost always have what I'm looking for and if they don't, the staff is always helpful in finding it online or something similar. I explain i can walk her down to the signage and she tells me im wring but she will give me the price i said it was !!! I stopped in at this Khols to buy a tie (I had recently bought four ties and needed a fifth one to match); I had bought the other four same ties at the Khols in Brighton and they were on sale for about $20 a piece. But at the White Lake location when I took the tie up to the counter the lady rung it up and said it was $40, so I asked her if the ties were no longer on sale and explained that I had just bought four of them for $20 a few days before in Brighton. She seemed irritated at having to explain that the sale was over. I thought it was strange but purchased the tie anyway. When I went back to the Brighton store a few days later, those same ties were still on sale... So, I'd recommend visiting the Khols in Brighton instead - for the sales and friendly service! read more

This is my favorite store to buy my daughters clothes and shoes at. The Jumping Beans brand they carry in clothes and shoes is always a great price for long lasting & cute styles. Staff has always been helpful when I've had trouble locating an item, and between coupons, promotions and clearance prices I can outfit my daughter for 1/3 the price of other stores. read more

I stopped in a couple days ago to buy some sweaters for my family for Christmas - we do matching photos every year - and I had stopped by the juniors section, which was pretty messy but that's to be expected because it was VERY busy. I had trouble locating the sweaters I saw online and so I had requested help and the girl that helped me was so very helpful! The ones I was looking for - those sweaters were actually an online exclusive so she helped me find them on the kiosk, quick and easy free shipping too! I had also stopped by the shoes and the young girl over in shoes was very friendly and helpful as well!! The workers are always friendly and helpful!! Never buy from Kohl's online. The store is nice, I usually can find something for my daughter that's 12 years old. But online ridiculous 9 days and counting for a delivery to my handicapped mother. Pathetic. Every other store online has 3 to 5 business day delivery! We still haven't received the package! There are no holidays or storms. No excuses Kohl's. No customer service to contact!
