I just recently went back in 2015 and saw Dr Gimness again. This time I do need glasses. And the time he took and the in depth explanations I was given telling me how things work and what happens with my particular disease and my eyes was great. He definitely cares about his patients and is a wonderful doctor. Highly recommended.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very professional. They made the entire process easy and comfortable, and I never felt rushed. Dr. Jonathan was wonderful--thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. The optical technician was also incredibly helpful. I don't remember her name, but she explained what to look for in a properly fitting pair of glasses better than anyone ever has--and I've been wearing glasses for a very long time. That really stood out to me. I've also had multiple follow-up calls, and the staff has always been understanding and helpful. Dr. Rebecca Jangula is great. However, staff member Mary manipulated me into an unwanted, unauthorized $39 procedure that my insurance would not cover. I never authorized any extras. Then office manager Heather refused to release my medical records until I paid for it. This is against HIPAA and Idaho law and down right dishonest and unethical. They lied and manipulated me solely to add the extra charge (likely so Mary could earn a commission). They cared only about their money, not my finances. Buyer beware. I won't be going back or referring anyone to them. $39.00 just cost them way more in lost business
