The food was better than expected. The huge issue was the staff telling us they would have activities around murder mystery. There was one escape room and there was no room for us to play. It made for a boring weekend. The place we stayed was ok and didn't have very many amenities, the heat in the living room wasn't working...made for a chilly weekend. The staff needs to prepare the guests for a weekend expectation. We didn't need a golf cart but no one mentioned that when we booked the trip. We wasted over $1K for this weekend. I would say, keep your money and don't visit this resort.

We used to come here all the time before it was bought out. Definitely changed for the worst. Didn't have pieces to activities where you won prizes. No internet at cabins to check activities throughout the day. Prices to go there and for items such as food and souvenirs. $42 for a small shirt. Only good part is the production crew. 10/10 stars to them. They host every show there and are amazing at it. Also, they are amazing singers and dancers. Most staff are nice. Totally recommend the production shows if you end up at this horrible, outrageous place.

My boyfriend and I reserved a tent site down in the back of the campground for a weekend. There are…read moreonly 6 tent sites, the remainder of the campground is for RVs. They definitely cater to RVs here, we were not treated well from the second we arrived. The person checking us in, I'm assuming is part owner, yelled at us for going through the gate too quickly. When I arrived at the gate, there was a sign that said to call a number so that they could let you in so I did and on the call I told her that there was someone behind me and that there were two cars, but you could tell that she was obviously distracted because she said OK come through and so I waved my boyfriend through, and then the gate crashed down on his car. He was able to get out of it very quickly, and there was no damage to the gate. But when we walked in, immediately the reception was poor because she was mad that we had two cars go through the gate instead of one. I said "you should have a sign." She says "there is one." After the fact we took a look at this "sign." There is a very small microscopic sign on 8x10 paper with a ton of really small writing and not very clear at all that it should be one car at a time. I would recommend that they have one specific sign that very clearly states "one car at a time" in extremely large font with nothing else on it, because clearly it was not obvious to us, or others for that matter. She went on to tell us that it's happened several times and that's how they broke their last gate, etc. etc. Well, I would think that maybe you would learn your lesson? make it more obvious that it's one car at a time? Pay attention when the person on the other line says there are two cars and maybe specify that one car should go through at a time? We had never been to this campground before, so we were very displeased from the start just based on that reception. Saturday went pretty well initially, we were the only ones down by the water aside from one other couple who was extremely nice and quiet. However, halfway through the day, as we were trying to enjoy peace and quiet, we heard the noises of construction for the remainder of the day as they were taking down the docks at the end of the boat launch, down a dirt road that goes right through the tent campsites. This was not told to us in advance, we had no idea this was going to happen. And when we stayed here, it was the first weekend of October. There was no sign, no warning that said that they were going to be doing this. all we heard all day was construction noise. And even better, they used the tent campsite right next to ours to load all of the pieces so we literally heard construction noises for the entire time we were camping. We thought maybe we could get away with a nice morning breakfast without construction noise on Sunday, but we were incorrect as they continued to do this Sunday morning as well. Why wouldn't they wait until people check out at the end of the weekend when people check out to do something like this? It's not even like it was the last weekend of the season or anything. We were extremely disappointed given how much money we spent on the site. The only positive is that they have water at every site and the pond is absolutely beautiful. There is a bald eagle nest and we saw the bald eagle when we were there. you can launch your kayaks or canoes from the campground, and there are nice trails around the pond as well. the only positives of the entire experience. We will never stay here again.

We had a good experience at Naples KOA and all of the comments about the owners and staff are very…read moretrue -- they seek to genuinely want you to enjoy your time camping and they do whatever they can to make that happen. From guiding you down to your site and assisting with directing your back in to delivering firewood when you order it, service is obviously important to the team. They have added on to the campsite providing some nice new bath houses and a brand new dog park area. The campground seems to be heavily populated with seasonal campers and they provide some good support for this with areas for boat parking and other services like bulk wood pricing. When we camp, we tend to cook on our site and explore the area, as we are weekend transients versus seasonal guests. As a result, we don't take advantage of a lot of the amenities on site -- rarely use the pool, not likely to join the rec hall activities, etc. This campground offered a number of those things and they seemed well received. Our campfire and the stargazing are things we enjoy. A+ on the night sights -- no noise pollution to dampen the experience so we saw plenty, including some shooting stars. The only two things I would say that come across as constructive feedback are around the fire pit itself and the new campsites. They expanded recently and so you basically have a ton of new site in an open field (or parking lot). The sites are well leveled, angle for easy back-in, and the services (electric, sewer, and water) are easily accessible. There is just no privacy between sites as the trees have had any time to build up yet. It isn't a huge deal because the back of one camper is facing the front of the others, but it does mean you are a bit on top of other campers. The other minor issue is the fire rings -- maybe because a lot of the population is seasonal and they don't use the campfire for cooking, there aren't cooking grates on the campfire ring. We do most meals on the fire so had to buy a wire great to put across the pit. Again, not a big deal as evidenced by the four star review, but a little thing to keep me from going with 5. Overall a nice place, great staff, and incredible location and we won't hesitate to find our way back in the future.

The ads look nothing like reality. The cabins are way smaller than other KOA deluxe cabins. There is no linens. There are no soap dispensers like other KOAs. There is no internet. The cable is spotty. The staff said they know all this. The porches on the "deluxe cabins" are so small you can barely stand on it! Our site overlaps with an RV site. 611. Can't wait to see what happens if one shows up! It's only saving grace is that it's clean. Apparently false advertising is the Naples ME motto. For what we paid I could've gotten a hotel and everything they advertise. Stay far away.
