I recently stayed up here for Labor Day weekend. The camp isn't officially open yet, but after speaking with Scott, the owner, the finished product sounds spectacular. Me and a group of friends were up for a girl's trip and our stay in the cabin was amazing. All the amenities are brand new and the whole site has a ton to explore! Scott Efron was more than welcoming and invited our group and some other campers to a cookout by the bonfire which was a great way to connect with other campers and get to know your surroundings. We were glamping, but still got a taste of the great outdoors with the beautiful wood cabins and the scenic views greeting us every morning. Can't wait to come back!!

We booked at this campground fairly last minute for Memorial weekend camping. We have a 30 foot pull behind toy hauler and planned to do some riding and kayaking and this place checked all our boxes. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were in the uppermost tv parking level which had power and water but no septic. We also had no grass at all, just a gravel lot that we backed into, so while not optimal, we were thankful for a last minute spot, and the lower level spots did have grass and septic and looked much nicer. We were really missing a bit of grass or maybe a tree to attach a hammock to, still, we were last minute and the other amenities were good. We had a small problem with the water and needed a new y gate (the neighbor had inadvertently broken it) and when we notified the office they were extremely responsive and had a new one to us within maybe 15 minutes. The riding was great. The grandkids loved the pirate play land, the pool was clean though chilly (it was Memorial Day in Maine). We brought our own kayaks but they had a nice array of canoes and a few kayaks free for use. Those were the good parts. Now for the bad part: the game room and bathrooms are combined. Not just combined, but the bathrooms are just 3 full bathrooms (sink, toilet, shower) inside of the game room. 2 of the 3 showers had broken temperature control mechanisms. In addition, while a person is in the bathroom trying to take a shower, unsupervised children are smacking your door with ping pong paddles, running around screaming, and if you're unlucky enough to have to wait for a room to open up. A kid might run over your foot with their bike inside the rec room. Yeah, this happened. Yeah I yelled at the little..angel. This setup is a terrible tactical error. For goodness sake, separate the bathrooms where dirty people are just trying to get clean from the place where exhausted parents send their hoodlum children to to try to get 15 minutes of sanity.

Very convoluted to figure out the who done it. The food was better than expected. The huge issue was the staff telling us they would have activities around murder mystery. There was one escape room and there was no room for us to play. It made for a boring weekend. The place we stayed was ok and didn't have very many amenities, the heat in the living room wasn't working...made for a chilly weekend. The staff needs to prepare the guests for a weekend expectation. We didn't need a golf cart but no one mentioned that when we booked the trip. We wasted over $1K for this weekend. I would say, keep your money and don't visit this resort.

We used to come here all the time before it was bought out. Definitely changed for the worst. Didn't have pieces to activities where you won prizes. No internet at cabins to check activities throughout the day. Prices to go there and for items such as food and souvenirs. $42 for a small shirt. Only good part is the production crew. 10/10 stars to them. They host every show there and are amazing at it. Also, they are amazing singers and dancers. Most staff are nice. Totally recommend the production shows if you end up at this horrible, outrageous place.

Once we found Bayview Cabins, we were hooked! Our family continues to grow, so we each get a cabin. We ALL look forward to our vacation here every year. The owners Steve & Sherri make us all feel so comfortable, genuinely sweet people who work hard at keeping the place up. This summer my mother & I decided to take my 90yr old grandmother, who is wheelchair bound, away for a mini- vacation. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away at how handicap accessible Steve & Sherri had made our cabin (12 A&B). Steve came right outside, got wheelchair chair ramps for us, had already put up handicap handles in the shower and on the toilet. Each cabin I've been in, is always so clean. So neat. They have cute signs up that make them feel "homey". And my Gram especially liked the hanging plant in front of our cabin. Me & my entire family HIGHLY recommend this getaway!!!

This place was SOO convenient to everything around, several restaurants, shops and bars are in walking distance. The dock area is really nice and everyone seemed laid back, although there were kids running around, they didn't bother us. They provided a paddle boat, a row boat, a canoe and several tubes for us, which was really nice. The main building has an ice machine and free coffee. Only briefly interacted with the owner Steve, but everything went smoothly. The house itself was perfect for the two of us, the bed was comfy and the AC was strong enough.

From guiding you down to your site and assisting with directing your back in to delivering firewood when you order it, service is obviously important to the team. They have added on to the campsite providing some nice new bath houses and a brand new dog park area. The campground seems to be heavily populated with seasonal campers and they provide some good support for this with areas for boat parking and other services like bulk wood pricing. When we camp, we tend to cook on our site and explore the area, as we are weekend transients versus seasonal guests. As a result, we don't take advantage of a lot of the amenities on site -- rarely use the pool, not likely to join the rec hall activities, etc. This campground offered a number of those things and they seemed well received. Our campfire and the stargazing are things we enjoy. A+ on the night sights -- no noise pollution to dampen the experience so we saw plenty, including some shooting stars. The only two things I would say that come across as constructive feedback are around the fire pit itself and the new campsites. They expanded recently and so you basically have a ton of new site in an open field (or parking lot). The sites are well leveled, angle for easy back-in, and the services (electric, sewer, and water) are easily accessible. There is just no privacy between sites as the trees have had any time to build up yet. It isn't a huge deal because the back of one camper is facing the front of the others, but it does mean you are a bit on top of other campers. The other minor issue is the fire rings -- maybe because a lot of the population is seasonal and they don't use the campfire for cooking, there aren't cooking grates on the campfire ring. We do most meals on the fire so had to buy a wire great to put across the pit. Again, not a big deal as evidenced by the four star review, but a little thing to keep me from going with 5. Overall a nice place, great staff, and incredible location and we won't hesitate to find our way back in the future.

The ads look nothing like reality. The cabins are way smaller than other KOA deluxe cabins. There is no linens. There are no soap dispensers like other KOAs. There is no internet. Can't wait to see what happens if one shows up! It's only saving grace is that it's clean. Apparently false advertising is the Naples ME motto. For what we paid I could've gotten a hotel and everything they advertise. Stay far away.
