This location is inside the mall so no need to worry about parking. Customer could go from none to long line in minutes, but the staff were quick enough to handle. I just feel that they are more expensive than other milk tea stores. Been coming to Kokee Tea for a while but just realized the menu pictures would show pearls or boba but everything comes plain and any toppings are additional price. The shop has so many cute plants, it makes you want to buy them all to greenify your home! And there were SO MANY different options macarons and desserts and milk tea options! We got the cookies and cream, lemon, pistachio, raspberry, earl grey, and one more. It was a bit 6 and get a drink free deal! And more the. They were delicious with thick Pattie's of cream! And the boba were warm and well made! The waffles were sweet though there was A LOT of cream. And the sprinkles were overkill but the banana were healthy and ripe! 12.30.21 I purchased the Taro Milk Tea with Boba. The size was larger than I am used to. Guess they only come in one size here. Boba were soft. The last place I had it was too chewy. The taro was on the sweeter side which I loved since I have a sweet tooth. You can adjust the level of sweetness and add toppings. Service was super fast. I got it right after ordering. Not good tea. For 7 dollars for some honey milk tea with boba I expected something really gourmet. The boba was undercooked and hard and the tea was too sweet even with a 50% sweetness reduction. Was not worth the cost. You could get better and cheaper boba tea at other places. read more

The tea flavor is more prominent and the drinks are less sweet here (compared to Gong Cha and Kung Fu Tea), so I recommend adjusting your sugar levels higher. They ran out of boba pretty early on a weekend (around 2 PM on a Sunday), so check with them on their topping availability before ordering. read more

The employees were nice and the drink came out really quickly. The presentation of the drink was pretty. After I ordered, I asked if they do ice levels and the employee said yes, but they already sealed the drink :( (but that's understandable, I wouldn't want to pop it open either lol) Got a brown sugar milk tea, which did not look or taste like it had tea inside. It was very pale, pretty much milk colored. Before going back to ask about the tea, I questioned myself whether it was my fault that I didn't read the menu properly, because some places do brown sugar milk, without the tea. The menu does say brown sugar milk tea, so I went back to ask the employee if the drink is supposed to have tea. She says, yes they do put tea in it. And I said that I don't taste it in there. I didn't want to bother them so I left, but I found it weird that she didn't offer to fix it or anything like that. I have worked in customer service environments before, so I understand how stressful it can be, but I would at least try to offer a solution or alternative. read more

It's ok I got the dragonfruit slush with honey boba and for the cost ($7) it wasn't worth it. I would've rather gone to Yifang or Gong cha. It's super sugary (not sure if they adjust sweetness) and didn't really taste like dragonfruit, though that may be because I got the honey boba and everything just tasted like honey with that. The slush also separated in only 10-20 minutes which was unfortunate. It probably contributed to the overly-sugary taste. They advertise that they use real fruit, so I'm not sure if this was just a one-off or if the fruit is only for the fruit teas specifically and not the slushes. I would say that competitively, it's expensive. It is conveniently located in Columbia Mall though. The menu is really interesting, so I do wonder what the other drinks taste like. It seems like they specialize more in fruit teas than milk tea, but they do offer both. On the plus side, despite the long line, the bubble tea does come out relatively quick! Boba isn't always the freshest, sometimes it's a little bit hard. The drinks are still good though.

This was my first time visiting and I could not wait to try their teas - I waited in a long. I ordered the Classic Thai Tea with oat milk, I heard their recipe is one of the best. The tea had barely any oat milk and just needed a little more which can really make a difference. I tasted my drink and as expected it wasn't to my satisfaction so I asked for a little more oat milk to be added. The person who made the drink rudely said "no". I explained I was not satisfied with the flavor and just need a little more oat milk. Again her reply was "no" and she added "we don't do that". I asked "you don't do what"? She wouldn't answer. So I asked again "you don't do what" "fix an item purchased" She replied "no" and acted as if she didn't care. Wow! I don't know of many food places who don't care that a patron is not satisfied with a purchase and try to remedy the issue. And since they don't care, I don't care to spend money there again. I'm sure my absence won't make a difference but I wanted to let others know of my experience. 0 stars if it were an option. read more
