Wings Spicy butt sauce with Waffle Fries

The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. The woman behind the counter was multitasking like a pro and was incredibly friendly. The chicken was fresh and so hot that I had to wait a little before eating. It was very flavorful, and the fries were crunchy and delicious. By the way, I came for the boba drink, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of hot and cold flavor options available. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience!

Came to Kokee from a TikTok food review and I was not disappointed. I live in Downtown Baltimore, but Kokee is definitely worth the drive. It's located in a shopping center in Columbia, Md. The inside is nice, there is seating available to eat in, I took my food to go. Their menu is on three screens, listing their food and Boba drinks that they have to offer. I got the 10 pc. Honey Soy Garlic wings, a side of waffle fries and a Brown Sugar Cold Brew, hold the Boba. It didn't take long to receive my order and it was nothing short of delicious. The chicken was so crispy, juicy and flavorful, I almost ate the whole thing lol. The waffle fries come seasoned and they were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The Brown Sugar Cold brew was really good, not too sweet, really enjoyable. My total came to $26 and was worth every penny. Definitely putting on my list of go to places

I ordered the 10pc honey soy wings and a coffee milk tea with added Oreo's, and waffle fries. Ordering was seamless through post mates. The price was reasonable and the quality was fresh, hot, and portion was enough for 1-2 ppl. I would highly recommend. This is my 2nd order and will definitely support in the near future. They even threw in a free ranch.

The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. I always stop when I'm in the area working.

I've eaten here a couple of times now. I initially went for the boba tea but decided to also try their chicken. The boba is solid! The chicken is crunchy and juicy. Unfortunately, I also take out so by the time I get home, I forget to take a photo of the wings. But, trust me when I say they are GOOD! They have a few sauce and spice options as well. I will be back, so I will do my best to snag a pic of the wings then lol.

I have been waiting to come after seeing a review on IG. I love battered wings. I went in to order and the decor is really cute. Else you'd expect from a korean spot with merc. Service was dry and I was hoping the food would make up for it. I ordered the five piece things with their chicken butt sauce mild. It took maybe about 10 minutes before it was ready. I quickly exited to my car and couldn't wait to open up my cute little box with wings. I enjoyed the crunch and sad to be happy it actually tasted fresh. The chicken was seasoned but next time I'll ask for the next heat since the gentleman who took my order wasn't any help there. I definitely would come back to try different flavor varieties.

Not the best picture but these are hands down some of the best wings I've had in my life 10/10 (honey soy garlic spicy chicken butt wings)

Overall: Small shop with bubble tea, macaroons and desserts, and fried chicken and French fries. Only a couple of tables and one single stall restroom. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. We dropped in on a Friday night and ordered two hot chicken sandwiches, garlic soy chicken tenders, and fries. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out, which felt long since the place was pretty empty and it's set up like a fast casual place. The chicken was thick and juicy with a nice crunchy fry on it. My son was obsessed with the soy garlic sauce and the fries were pretty good. To me the prices felt a little high and the wait a little long for what the food and ambiance was. I always wish for at least one veggie on the menu, which there wasn't but I understand for the type of restaurant it is. There were no high chairs for kids.

Summary: Kokee Chicken (Butt) is located within the Kokee tea shop and offers a smallish menu of fried chicken options with sides. They also have a huge selection of Milk Tea, but my review is specifically on the food since I didn't get any of their speciality drinks. The food is good. It's definitely one of the better spicy chicken sandwich offerings in the area. I would check it out if you haven't been. Details: Starting with the location - it's definitely more of a milk tea shop first. Lots of foot traffic primarily ordering milk teas. The seating is pretty limited and not really "sit down and eat" vibes. I think there's probably like 6-7 tables total with 2 chairs at each. It's fine for a quick bite. Speaking of quick though, the food was not quick to come out. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and a side of waffle fries and it took probably close to 20-30 minutes to get our food. The food - it was good! The waffle fries reminds me a bit of a Chick-Fil-A waffle mixed with Arby's (in a good way). The flavor profile itself, I felt like certain things were a hint too sweet or a hint too salty. All in all, I thought everything was delicious and well-cooked. I can probably go without the chicken tenders next time. As far as menu items go, they also have a ton of options for ordering wings. I thought the chicken sandwich was definitely the best thing we ordered. Great balance on flavors and a good kick with spice. Service Staff was friendly, but not much interaction. As mentioned earlier, it's more of a milk tea spot, so once you order your food, it's pretty much hands off from the staff at that point. Not a negative, just set your expectation for bussing your own tables. Conclusion It was a good spot and I'd definitely recommend. Food took a little longer than expected to get. The dining area is a bit limited, but does the job for less busy days.

Very solid place for wings in the Columbia area. The chicken was filling and delicious, especially when paired with the bubble tea! The service was a little slow, hence 4 starts but the everything by else gives it 5 stars in my book. The restaurant itself is clean and has a cool aesthetic. Would recommend just not in a hurry!

Recently just moved to MD and coming from SoCal where it's Boba shops galore, so glad this place exists literally down the street from our house. No doubt I'll be a regular customer here. The chicken butt sandwich was delicious that's cooked and seasoned to perfection and our drinks were awesome too.

I stopped by at 11am on a weekday, and the chicken was piping hot and juicy, much fresher than other fast-food chicken places. The tasty coating had a nice slight crisp to it, though it wasnt as crunchy as the fast-food brand that starts with a P. As I ate in my car, several roadwork crews walked by with their KKC© bags, so it's pretty well known along this part of US-40. There's parking out front for about 30 vehicles, and it's just a few steps from a large mall parking lot. This place is between a Goodyear and an AT&T, all in a little strip mall of their own. It's easy to find. When you're driving west, just turn in at the several Krispy Krunchy Chicken banners on the westbound side of Baltimore National Pike just west of I-695 and look for Poblano. It's a little tricky coming east: you have to drive past Alexander Av, (no matter what your map-app says), and do a u-turn where you would be going into the Lidl - Home Depot parking lot. I mention this because of course I made the wrong turn the first time. Then come back to those KKC banners, and go into Poblano Halal Mexican Grill.

Crimson Coward (2nd Visit)…read more Came back for a second visit to Crimson Coward and it definitely confirmed why I wanted to give it another try. Food: This time I kept it simple but strategic. I ordered the smash burger combo (only $4.99 to upgrade--great deal), which came with fries and a drink. The burger was stacked with onion, American cheese, pickles, and their signature crimson sauce on a soft brioche bun. Everything worked together--juicy, flavorful, and not overly greasy. I also tried the Quarter Coward (an off-menu item priced at $5.49), got it mild with honey sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly--tender inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The honey added just enough sweetness to balance the mild heat without overpowering it. Definitely a hidden gem on the menu. Atmosphere: The space is bright, clean, and inviting. I especially liked the open kitchen concept--it gives transparency and lets you see everything being made fresh. Plenty of tables available if you're dining in. Customer Service: You're greeted when you walk in, which I always appreciate. Ordering is primarily done through kiosks, so interaction is minimal unless you need assistance--but the setup is smooth and efficient. Wait Time: Everything is cooked to order, which I don't mind. I placed my order at 3:16 PM and had my food by 3:30 PM, so about a 14-minute wait--pretty reasonable for fresh food. Overall: Solid second experience. Good quality, fair pricing, and consistent execution. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu--especially those off-menu finds

Upon entering, we were met with graffiti inspired artwork on the walls, which was cool. We perused the menu and decided to order. They have different levels of spice for your chicken and decided on an order that was mild (2 sandwich meal) , medium, (2 sandwich meal) and extra hot (I was warned by my daughter to rethink this option, but, alas, I did not heed her warning; 1 tender 1 sandwich meal). They had the spiciest level, reaper, which you have to sign a waiver to purchase, I wasn't that crazy y'all... Food delivery service was available and they had an LED board with which ones each order was under. The service was great with the associates very pleasant at the counter. We also ordered a fruit punch slushy, but it was TOO sweet for me and I couldn't finish it. If you love sweet drinks, this would be the one for you! We were given a buzzer and we didn't wait long for our order to be ready. The orders were accompanied by crinkle cut fries (we got cheese on ours for an extra cost) along with a small container of coleslaw, pickle slices, and Dave's Sauce. The fries were good with that cheese sauce: fresh, crispy, not greasy and the sauce tasting like real cheese. Now....I pride myself on enjoying a good hot spiced item from time to time... but my extra hot tender was not to be played with. I bit into that crispy tender and instantly knew I indeed "bit off more than I could chew!" It was as if that hot spiced item shot through my whole body and I was heated on the inside for about a couple of minutes. I say that to say, if you are not into spicy SPICY, don't go above medium. So glad I chose a medium spice sandwich (yes, you can get different spice levels in your order) because that saved me. The chicken was fresh, with a crispy coating on a fresh bun with Dave's sauce. The pickles were fresh and crisp (my go-to to put out that heat from that extra hot chicken tender!), the coleslaw was fresh and ok. I really don't like sauces like the Dave's sauce on my food, so the next time I will get my sandwich without it. All in all, a nice place for a good chicken sandwich, especially with the cheese fries! Epilogue: I saved the rest of that extra hot tender to eat the next day hoping the spice level had dissipated...but no...it seems as if it intensified...but I still ate it...maybe I'm used to that spice level now...

Today was simply the latest in a long line of times where you go in to order an item they flagrantly have advertised on their building, only to be told (after paying for it and waiting for it) that it's out-of-stock or not available. Today I saw the giant banners for the Fazbear Deluxe Box. I went in, ordered three of them. The woman took my order no problem, had me pay, gave me my receipt, and then I was standing there and waiting. She handed me three cups and I was just waiting for a moment for her to return to ask for a cup holder. When I was finally able to get the staff member's attention and ask for a cup holder, she told me they had no cup holders. That seemed odd but I accepted it, and then, only after I'D grabbed HER attention, did she suddenly say, "Oh, and we don't have the cupcakes for the Fazbear Deluxe Box either." This staff member didn't mention that when I ordered, didn't mention that when I paid, and didn't even mention it to me standing there, waiting for my order, until AFTER I'd grabbed her attention for a different issue. Worse, when I said to cancel the order (they couldn't fulfill) and asked for a refund, I was greeted with a look of dismay and confusion. It took the woman and a senior staff member time an entire conversation to explain my simple request, and then I was told that I would see the refund on my card in three days. Eventually, a completely DIFFERENT woman came from the back (a manager?) and actually processed the refund, seeming annoyed. When I informed this manager(?) that maybe they shouldn't advertise items they don't have, pointing to a small stand-up on the register showing the cupcake, she just sort of gave a fake smile and shrugged; not once did she acknowledge the issue and the standee falsely advertising the item WAS STILL THERE. The service at this location is abyssmal, to the point that everyone in the surrounding neighborhoods says, "Don't bother eating at Popeyes - the Chick-fil-A around the corner is better". I work at the high school up the street - nobody orders from there, staff and student alike, instead choosing the Chick-fil-A, Royal Farms, or Burger King nearby. This place makes Popeyes look like a horrible business and I'm shocked they're still there considering the opinions of the people who live and work around that location. At this point, we're done with Popeyes - we'll get our chicken from places that actually carry what they advertise and have staff with better customer service.
