We only had the garlic bread but it was great! The bartenders were super nice! But one employee Dan Barnes killed it with customer service! I first met him at security where he was super nice and made us feel very welcome! Then a little later out food order took a little long and he immediately helped resolve the issue! Dan is a sweetheart and a hard worker! Until the time we left he was making sure we were good! I can't say how refreshing our. 30 years ago, I grew up on the havasu river and kokomos was always a stomping ground. Came back on a camping trip with my kids and was so impressed with the hospitality. Gave our kiddos free Kokomo swag, which to kids is like a million bucks... We stayed across the lake but they let us use the pool, great food, friendly staff, dog friendly and an escape from the heat. Will absolutely be back! Big blue van on tap? Yes please!!! we stay at the London bridge most the time we go we got a private booth sat night . ashley was our private server she's was great attentive and made sure we had what ever we needed . It's for spring breakers and people under 25. It's loud and too many obnoxious drunk people to enjoy. It's not for someone who wants a nice quiet bar. This place is more of a bar than a restaurant...at least at night. This has been the go-to place for nightlife in Lake Havasu for over 15 years that I know of. I've cruised through this place during the day...it's serene and quiet. It looks like a great place to grab some food and a drink while relaxing outdoors enjoying the view. Located next to the London Bridge, there's a nice view of the waterway. At night (at least on Friday and Saturday nights) this place comes alive with dance music. The crowd age is usually all over the board. There are a couple pool tables, a pool, a dance floor, and a few other outdoor things to add to your fun. With a full bar, drinks choices are unlimited. Drink prices are average. Free parking in front of the hotel...then a short walk to this place. Fun place! read more

My husband and I went to Kokomo's in August 2022, while staying at the London bridge resort. We had a blast. The staff was great and so were the drinks. I played water volleyball for the first time ever. That's hard, but tons of fun. They are located on the channel. it's fun to watch the boats coming and going. If I recall correctly, I believe I saw staff catering boats. How cool is that? Pretty good choice of music also. Sorry, we did not eat. Incidentally, we decided to move to Havasu. looking forward to spending more time at Kokomo's. read more

Never coming back to this place. Bartender (younger lady upstairs) was extremely rude, my card declined so I asked if one of my friends could come over and pay for the drink I just ordered. Bartender continued to harass me about not having cash (in 2023) after my friend payed for it. and called security over to kick me out. Was cooperative with security. (Security was cool honestly) but never coming back because of that rude bartender once again young lady upstairs. This is the second year, I had my annual beach blanket, bingo birthday bash with approximately 50 people poolside at the Kokomo's establishment. The manager Stephen Samarin was absolutely phenomenal, his staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend if you ever want to plan an event especially if it's a Summer event, with the swimming pool, and the lake nearby, great location, it is right by the London Bridge. Stephen attention to all my request were met and exceeded my expectations, I can't say enough, the Kokomo's staff was absolutely wonderful. read more

Three stars for Kokomo, not because it's a three-star bar, but it merely is what it is. The third star was also for the surprisingly decent food and strong drinks we had during our late afternoon visit. I'm not going to describe Kokomo because it's so large and has so many different areas, plus there isn't an actual bar that you sit at and order drinks. It offers everything you want to have fun in the afternoon and in the evening. Though, I'm sticking to the daylight hours and leaving the night to the kids. Looking forward to wasting some daylight, drinking beer, and boat watching on my next trip to Lake Havasu. read more

Came here on a Thursday for a drink. It wasn't busy.. but I didn't expect it to be since it wasn't a weekend. The bartender wasn't very friendly or helpful. We ordered a few drinks and then we came back to order shirts for some friends. We stood at the bar for a while waiting for some help. While visiting Lake havasu we spent every day here, it was such a fun place, it was open all day and night, they have a pool that's open to the public all day. My husband and i really enjoyed hanging here, we went to the pool everyday and it helped to get out of the heat for a little while, at night the crowd is fun and the music too. There is no dress code you can just go in and relax with a few drinks and meeting some people. read more

It's a fun place to hang out when you're not on the boat. It can get very busy on the weekends with a very young crowd. We enjoy the pool and it's fun playing volleyball in the pool and meeting people. We wish it would go back to being an Adult only pool. The water misters are very helpful. Yes. Kokomo will have entertainment Memorial Day Weekend 2021. The Kokomo pool is open to the public for guests of Kokomo. There is no cover charge during the day.

Will Kokomo's planning on reopening for 2021? If so, when?

Yes. We plan to reopen in mid-March 2021.

Is Kokomo going to be open during Labor Day weekend?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Kokomo is closed under the Governor of Arizona's executive order. We are hopeful that benchmarks will be met to resume operations soon.

Is there going to be any events for Memorial Day weekend and is this 18+ or 21+?

Kokomo is open daily starting at 11 am featuring our lunch and dinner menu.

Are there shuffle boards?

We do not have shuffle boards. We have life-size pong, corn hole, Yahtzee, pool, and more. Come check us out.

The blue corn tacos were really good - crispy shell and not greasy at all - tender chicken - definitely would order again. Also ordered blue corn chicken enchiladas chile verde - they were good. The chile verde is mild and tangy - I would order half green and half red next time to mellow the tartness. Service was great despite being very busy. The restaurant is nice and cozy but I actually preferred the bar area.

We arrived just before 8:00 PM, sat down, and waited several minutes before being informed that the kitchen would not serve us because it was after 8:00 PM. I completely understand if the kitchen closes at 8:00 PM. What disappointed me was that we were already seated, the restaurant still had numerous customers, drinks were still being served, and no effort was made to accommodate us despite being right on the margin of closing time. As a business owner myself, I understand that operating hours and kitchen policies are important. However, I also believe that customer service matters, especially when someone makes the effort to come in and spend money with your business. A little flexibility in situations like this can turn a customer into a loyal supporter. Instead, we left and went to another local restaurant, where we had an excellent meal, great service, and spent over $130 including tip. If this is the owner's policy, then I respect that. If it was simply an employee's decision, I would encourage management to review how these situations are handled. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed and will only go to Nikos when other options are exhausted.
