Service-wise, no notes. Our waitress was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience better. The wings also deserve a proper shoutout: perfectly cooked and easily the highlight of the table not to mention the homemade buffalo sauce. From there, things took a bit of a downturn. The burgers were underwhelming dry, lacking seasoning, and ultimately forgettable. The pastrami fries leaned heavily on grease rather than substance, with the pastrami playing more of a cameo than a starring role. Unfortunately, the steak sandwich was the biggest miss, leaving one of our guests feeling sick for the rest of the evening. I'll admit, I had a moment of hesitation upon walking in. Carpet in a dining area always feels like a bold design choice, and in this case, it set the tone more accurately than I'd hoped. Unfortunately I have to lower my review I heard the ribs were good but not really for me. Way too much sauce and fall off the bone cremated. Loved the other day but what a disappointment Sauce way too sweet. The adult milkshake is fantastic as my wife drank her dinner. I will come back but never for ribs. To start - I have to point out that our server was very nice, super friendly and was always around to see if we needed anything. There's a bar area and a dining area inside while a cool patio that is pup friendly is outside. The appetizer platter was very good. It came out piping hot and fresh - mushrooms, zucchini and cheese curds. I'm not a ranch person so I asked for a side of marinara and to my delight, the server brought out steamy hot marinara. It was great! The pesto chicken pasta however was disappointing due to the chicken being very over cooked and the pesto lacking flavor - it was very bland. I love pesto and I got no flavor in the dish. I was really excited for the dish but it fell very short. The full rack of ribs was a good portion! The flavor was pretty good as well. The server mentioned that on a particular day - a full rack is the cost of a half rack so be sure to check for that special! The pulled pork sandwich was also good. read more

Tavern 95 must be good! It was super busy when we showed up on a Friday evening and looks like it's all locals! The place was popping and lively and tons of TVs with various games on. It has a bar ambience with plenty of high tops. We ordered the broaster chicken and oh my!! It's crispy and juicy and came out piping hot! It was also perfectly seasoned!! We also ordered the pesto chicken pasta and it was ok, maybe if it was with linguine, it would have been better. It also needed a bit of salt. The food is average. The flatbread is really good but the sandwiches aren't worth the cost. I was with a bigger group so the 20% tip was forced. I understand why establishments do this but the service was absolutely horrible. If someone is forced to pay a big tip then the service should at least be adequate. This is our 1st visit to Lake Havasu so we rely on Yelp to find good places to try. This location is close to Cattail Cove State Park so we went here for lunch. I had the pulled pork sandwich & fries w/ a Mudshark (local brewery) draft IPA. Everything was great, the beer icy cold, & pulled pork somewhat spicy w/ sriracha pickles, fries were hot as well. My only quibble is I'm used to more pulled pork on my sandwich. My wife had the grilled cod fish tacos - they too were tasty but street taco size. So again, somewhat small portioned. Service was exceptional and there are plenty of windows so the tavern is not dark. My wife's favorite dessert is tiramisu & it was on their menu. A great way to end the meal & since we weren't stuff, it disappeared quickly. read more

We have eaten here twice in the last few weeks and both times were lucky enough to have Cody help us. I swear he doesn't ever stop smiling. He is so friendly and inviting and always on top of making sure we have everything before we even know we need it. He loves his job and just has the best attitude. He is a joy and definitely a huge draw for the restaurant. The food is incredible also, but a second to Cody. We have had a burger, the chicken sandwich, and the chicken parmigiana. This restaurant was delicious. Our server, TJ, was hilarious and very attentive. However, the hostesses in the front were beyond rude and disrespectful. I'm not sure what their problem with our particular group was, but from the moment we walked in, we were given the cold shoulder, stared at rudely while waiting for our table, etc. Upon leaving, they said thank you and goodnight to the other patrons, however continued glaring at our family as we exited. I have literally never dealt with something like this nor felt so uncomfortable. Will probably never return due to this scenario that unfolded beginning to end. I eat here a lot, always enjoy myself, tonight was disappointing, for the first time I called in my order for pick up. Young lady on the phone was super nice, took my order then asked me to hold. Last night was our third visit to Tavern 95 since we got here in February. All of our visits have been very good and last night's visit was exceptional. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat on the patio. The gentleman who waited on us (wish I would've gotten his name) was spot on; helpful, efficient and friendly. I ordered the fish and chips and hubby ordered the full rack of ribs, which was the daily special. The fish was perfectly cooked and tasty. The fries were very good. Always enjoy the food at Tavern 95! I would like to comment on the great service by Jeni W who was handling the Bar area including the tables in the bar area on Sunday 1/11/26. She does an out standing job. I've never seen anyone working the bar there handle all of those customers in such a friendly and helpful manner. She constantly checks on each customer to see if they need anything and is very knowledgeable about the menu. Finger licking good! I got their breasted 4 piece chicken dinner and some of the best chicken I've eaten in a while. I got it with fries and a homemade biscuit that was light and fluffy. I would highly recommend this place. My wife got the 2 piece chicken dinner with homemade chips with garlic and parmigiana cheese. Chips were excellent. Really good place to eat.
