My cinderblock boundary fence was damaged recently by high winds. Most of the top three rows were leaning into my neighbors yard and many blocks had fallen off. The wind had blown some cypress trees causing them to bounce repeatedly on the fence for a few hours I had several estimates. They all said the entire wall had to be replaced. Some said that the old size blocks were no longer available. Others said they couldn't remove the leaning blocks without further damaging the lower rows. Falanisi said he could repair the fence. He said he could get new blocks in the correct size and that the reason the fence failed is because there was too much space between the rebar. But he could add more rebar once they got the leaning blocks down. Falanisi said they could start in just a few days and the project could be done over 2 days. Normally I wouldn't take the lowest bid but they had great yelp reviews and I really didn't want to pay to have the entire wall demolished and replaced so I gave them a chance. They came on time, doubled the amount of rebar in the fence, completed the job when they said they would, and cleaned up everything when they were done. And no surprise fees. The job cost me just what they said it would. And it looks great! I would absolutely use them again. read more

Kokonut Concrete did a great job on repairing my leaning cinder block wall. Francis came out in a timely manner and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The job consisted of demolishing about 6 feet of wall and rremoving the debris. New blocks were used to rebuild the wall stronger than before. They used rebar to anchor the wall into the wall foundation as well as rebar to hold the wall horizontally. Then they fill the inside of the blocks with cement for extra strength and durability. The whole job was completed in one day. My neighbor and I are very happy with the completed job. I highly recommend Francis and his crew at Kokonut Concrete. read more

We were looking for contractors to pave concrete in our front yard. We talked to 3 contractors, Kokonut Konkrete has the best price (with the exact same tasks listed on estimate, as from other contractors). They all measured the area, but other contractors round it up to the next hundred, and that's one reason (probably main reason) that their price is higher. The total area is about 470 sqft. Falanisi and his crew finished the job in 2 days. Communication is easy throughout the whole process. Day 1: They cleaned out the area, put down rebars and mold. Day 2: poured the concrete and removed the dumpster. The crew were here on time, and left work site clean. On their first day here, Falanisi noticed that a panel on our drive way gate is loose. We asked Falanisi to build a retaining wall high enough to extend the driveway to accommodate 4 cars instead of 1. He not only understood my vision for the project but took it to another level that was exceedingly beautiful and better than we could have imagined. I needed to do some serious demolition and concrete work in my backyard. I got two quotes from other recommended contractors, then was given Kokonut Koncrete as an additional possible source. Toko came over, looked at the job and after running the figures, gave me an estimate on the spot. It was so much lower than the other two, I figured he either had missed something, or wouldn't be reliable or do shoddy work, but he was coming well recommended, so I figured I'd give him a chance. I'M SO HAPPY I DID! Toko started the following Monday, and he and his crew made the demo of the existing concrete and rock waterfall look like child's play! I had a couple of "special" requests of Toko (like pouring the concrete in one spot to a very specific height, and putting two posts in for a hammock) and he did the work to perfection!
