I didn't realize this little mart had been here since Covid until the cashier mentioned it! Today was my first time visiting, thanks to a recommendation from my dental hygienist across the street. Parking was easy, and the location is super convenient--right across from my dentist's office. The store has a great variety of snacks, groceries, and everyday items, almost like a mini 7-11. Prices are really good, everything was easy to find, and I even ended up buying more than I planned. I'm definitely coming back!

Snackaholic paradise... Who knew this place existed...I didn't and had a hard time finding it! Kokua Korner Mart is located in Mililani Tech Park and the tiny sign on the mirrored windows and doors keeps the secret well hidden until you walk in and see the incredible selections they have in this super tiny shop. Shopping for the extra something for a gift basket, overhearing some selling to make that extra fundraiser for school or just that snack cravings this place has a great choices from the usual gummies, chocolate and candies to cup noodles and various grocery items to some asian snacks and local goodies. I left excited to find some great deals with an afterthought of the use by date and they were all past the date suggested just by a few weeks though later realized that is the reason for these prices which didn't bother me one bit, shared it with mom and friends as we all enjoyed them at such great prices made it that much more yummy ;-) Thank you!

All this for $15 is an unbeatable bargain! Gum was 3/$0.99 and those Tabasco slim jims were 5/$1

Little snack shop with some SUPER good deals! Random flavors or snacks you don't normally see and many at massive discounts! The trick is that the heavily discounted items are near their "best by date" but still good. Considering most of the snack items you buy will be gone in a day, what's the worry lol. They also have hot musubis and cold drinks like most convenient stores. The main attraction for us though was the snacks . Check um out!

Looking for good bargains? You are in luck. Kokua Korner located in Mililani Tech Park is teeny tiny store that sells discounted snacks from their retail warehouse on property. Due to COVID-19, they only allow a few customers at a time. You must wear a mask and take your temperature once you enter the store. KK sells candies, snacks, Asian snacks, some shelf life grocery items, cold drinks and some hot food snacks. You can purchase single item things as well as in bulk by the case. The prices are dirt cheap because the items are near the expiration date so please make sure you look before purchasing. If you are going to consume right away, it is a very good deal. So, check them out and support local! You'll thank me for that!

Cute store. They sell candy, chips, cup ramen, marshmallows, gum, mint, Japanese hard candy, etc. Many items are close to the "best used before" dates. I got a package of Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows for 99 cents! I saw a 6 oz. Health bar for 2/$1.00! Open only on week days

I guess they fry a lot of stuff there and the smell of oil gets into my clothes and hair Everytime I go there. Yuk. Last week, I took my chances and got their $6 spicy ahi bento. $6 is a very good deal so I ended up buying 4 for my family. Ok, I really am curious about the 'ahi' that was served. It was all minced up and I swear there was no taste. The consistency was like, and this is kinda gross, raw hamburger, if you can imagine what raw hamburger would taste like. It looked like a legit spicy ahi bento but the taste was bad, the consistency wasn't appetizing and it just wasn't good. Kinda bummed about it because I was looking forward to a yummy dinner that Friday. What's with the Maikai label? Does Foodland really make all of the labeled items or do they just repackage it and slap their name on it? The cashiers are usually good and lines can get quite long. The parking lot can be challenging but you can find a spot. Maybe you need to park far away as it does get crowded.

Thank goodness Safeway is open. Also, Safeway carries these emergency phone chargers that are pre-charged for four hours. How does one simply check into all of the places when their phone is always threatening to turn off? Not anymore with this emergency charger. At least that's what I'm hoping to happen. If this magical box ends up working well for me, I will buy several more.

I love Mililani Safeway because the size of the store is perfect. Waikelel's Safeway gives me anxieties because its big and its A LOT, LOL.. What I love the most is the pick up, its easy and your shopper even messages you when they cant find something. What could use some work tho is not specifically Mililani Safeway, its just their App and Website in general. There is ALWAYS some kind of glitching going on. But nonetheless I love Mililani Safeway

Target Stores have been doing this for years. It's organized- staff are hustling around. There were a few "shoppers" (for online orders)- very focused. Right at the entrance, they had most of the Thanksgiving essentials displayed, which was actually really cool. And of course, I had to splurge on an Oreo house-making kit just for the fun of it. Even though they were completely sold out of turkey, we managed to grab all of our Thanksgiving sides before heading over to Safeway for the final ingredient, our big turkey. They've got great holiday items right now to splurge on so buyer beware and don't spend all your money at once! All in all, I was really grateful Walmart was still open when we went. I just wish they stayed open a little longer for us late-night shoppers! Also, they have the most charming mural at the front entrance.

I have 2 favorites -- Tuesday & Thursday.   I eat it practically every week and you'd never guess when you see it! Tuesday is the BBQ Bowl -- You get ypur choice of meat, rice, and a side (banchan). I always get the smoke meat with pickled onion on rice. The smoked meat has plenty smoked taste, just enough fat, and it's not tough (you know what I mean).  The pickled onion is the perfect compliment!   Love the bite and the vinegar taste -- cuts though and brings it all together!   They give you quite a bit in the bowl.  Definitely enough to make me smile!    Again ---- $6.00!!!!! Thursday is another winner in my book.   It's noodle day!!!  I used to get the Mega which had everything in it.   It was a special that they had at the beginning but it's been discontinued.  I think the only one I'm not too crazy about is the curry.   I know some like it -- but having watery curry with noodles is just not me.   The rest are pretty good.   They warm up the noodles right there and add all the goodies on top.  It's take out so they give you the hot broth in another container ---- perfect so your noodles don't get soggy!   I think it's a great 'buy and eat later' meal! I think the only negative is that sometimes the parking lot is very, very full.  If you go early it's not too bad.    The rest of the days they have kalua pig burrito, nachos, and the $6/lb food bar Friday.   With all the prices on everything going UP, UP, UP, it's so nice that we can have a good and satisfying meal for $6.00.    Thank you Foodland -- Food, Family, and Friends!!!

I will have to say that being here at 5 AM with nobody in the building but myself and probably a few associates, made it extremely cold? Or am I just not used to AC anymore? It was actually unbearably cold that I had to leave after sometime because I was getting so uncomfortable, it hurt. But then again, this is someone who used to live in Texas and needed to always have a 66° AC to someone who now lives in a space with absolutely no AC. So take this with a grain of salt. This is probably my favorite Safeway I've ever been to and I've been to several in the country during my travels. It's a shame that I only started checking in seriously this year! I highly recommend this location for good finds and for being very well organized. It makes me want to shop more. I also found some fun items in their international section that I've never seen before. I will obviously be back!
