I believe it's because we came in later at night, so take notes, everyone. You might find some really good markdowns if you shop later in the evening. I ended up taking home two SPAM musubis, a Zero Sugar Monster, an apron, an oven mitt, and, completely randomly, an Oreo-flavored Twix. This Foodland trip was a SUCCESS because I didn't go aisle by aisle and break the bank. I went in to grab a snack, found something cute, treated myself, and WALKED AWAY. That is growth. Also, if you're looking for cute reusable tote bags for only $1, you can find them here too! It's the ones that they had when I was growing up. They have all the usually departments: produce, meat, seafood, deli, bakery and floral. I did not see a pharmacy in this store. When you walk into the store, there's a huge Halloween display along with bags of candy in the front. Judging the store by itself I would have given it two stars. However, the workers were so nice and helpful. We got help in the produce department. The woman working the self checkout thanked every customer on the way out. We conversed for a bit. Sometimes, it's not just the business itself; but the people who run it. Therefore, I had to give them four stars.

There were so many different flavors to choose from that I've never seen before. Safeway shopping trips are always fun because we get to do it late at night. They do close 2 AM to 5 AM but they open up at 5 AM which is perfect timing for us. He and I are working during the afternoon and nighttime so our schedule for grocery shopping doesn't match the usual business hours for the casual grocery stores so Safeway works for us.

It's a beautiful supermarket that nice and clean very well organized with displayed items neatly placed and the vibe here is just so calm and friendly I was just very impressed with it all knowing that I can purchase items already made before entering to shop is quite deceiving and tempting but is nice to know for busy folks that they do have you covered whether you're in a rush or just need a single ingredient this is the place to go and support all things local. We returned our poke bowls because our portions were noticeably smaller than those given to other customers. We ultimately chose pizza instead because we were not confident we would receive a properly portioned poke bowl. Pizza was fairly priced and we enjoyed the Goomba. There is an unpleasant odor in the facility. The atmosphere was busy and casual, as expected for a supermarket, but the service at the poke counter made the experience frustrating.

Even though they were completely sold out of turkey, we managed to grab all of our Thanksgiving sides before heading over to Safeway for the final ingredient, our big turkey. They've got great holiday items right now to splurge on so buyer beware and don't spend all your money at once! All in all, I was really grateful Walmart was still open when we went. You can get six pieces of wings and two sides. They have bathrooms in two locations. They have bathrooms in the front and the back of the store. You'll find all the clearance items in the back by the bathrooms. I walked by and saw the honey roasted peanut M&Ms at half price. I got a bag for $1.20. Great deal!
