Kolaches places are everywhere but Kolache Bar has some great flavor combos and equally great service. Nate gave me some items to try out for free which was incredibly generous of him. The italian chicken croissant was surprisingly tasty! The BBQ brisket with cheese could use a little more sauce but it was still very good, the meat was tender. They gave me a jalapeno popper to try saying it was really full of flavor and he wasn't kidding! My dad loved it. My mom tried the blueberry donut and it was very moist without being too sweet. Most places on yelp would be happy with four stars. After my last review Lisa contacted me and asked me to come in to try their donuts again, hoping to earn a fifth star. When I got there, Lisa knew who I was immediately and was eager to have me meet her husband Nathan who is the baker. They offered me a fresh glazed and blueberry donuts to try... wow. They both explained that Nathan is teaching their daughter to bake and then my first experience was likely one of her batches. Well hers were good, Nathan's were outstanding. He explained the process he uses to get the donuts so light and airy and a glaze so crunchy. The couple couldn't be more hospitable or nice and eager to please their customers. While I was there numerous people came in that they greeted by name. This place is a definite must stop for anyone in the neighborhood, please help support them and their business. read more

Out first visit and clerk/barista was very helpful in making recommendations and then followed up to see how we liked our selections.
