I wish I didn't have to write this review, but this was the ~worst~ mochi donut I've ever had. I haven't had one in a while and this place was conveniently in the area. The store was empty on a weekday evening so ordering was quick and easy. However, the donuts are not made to order and were sitting out all day. I knew immediately when I took my first bite. Ambiance: Visited with our niece this past holiday week ( Christmas Eve). Great location and proximity to stores. The inside is very cute and creative. We visited around 10am, it wasn't packed so we were able to sit in. Order: Funnel cake / Raspberry / Fruity Pebbles: We allowed our 2 year old niece to pick out her items and we agreed on the 3rd. She chose raspberry and fruity pebbles. Ironically those were the best two. The flavors were there, but not too sweet. The funnel cake was good and simple; it's safe to say my niece chose the better items. Strawberry and blue refresher / Honey Passionfruit: Both refreshers were great, the honey passionfruit being the best when it comes to flavor. Both came with little chopped fruit. We got it covered in flaming hot Doritos and the combo with the sweet corn dog coating was phenomenal. The donuts had interesting, less common flavors but were quite pricey. We came for dinner, and the parking was extremely easy to find, thankfully! This is a busy shopping center during the day so beware you may not find parking depending on the time you arrive. They weren't busy, so there was plenty of seating to choose from. Our order was as follows: Potato hotdog with mozzarella 7/10- it was okay. The batter seemed to have some sweetness to it, which was a bit strange, and it was a bit thick compared to other places. The mozzarella itself was thicker also and I would describe it as pasty. Plain hotdog half and half 7/10- It was a beef hot dog, and the taste was fine. The batter for this one was also sweet. It didn't seem to have any salt or flavor to it. Strawberry green tea 7/10- This had real strawberries, and the sweetness was just right. You could still taste the green tea, and it helped with the saltiness from the food. Milk tea with boba 8/10- This was your standard milk tea. The boba was perfectly chewy and not overcooked. The tea itself was good and wasn't too sweet either. Donut trio- original, strawberry, and choco churro 7/10- out of the 3, the original was the overall winner between 4 people. The donuts were chewy and had the perfect fluffy texture. You could taste the real strawberries in the strawberry one, which was a surprise since we thought it was going to be artificial flavoring. The chocolate churro was the least favorite of the bunch. It seemed to have too many flavors occurring at the same time. All in all, I wouldn't pick to come back. Everything was just okay, but not amazing. The restaurant was clean and spacious enough with a nice selection of sauces to choose from, but the hotdogs weren't our favorite, and the donuts were okay. read more

This new Mochinut in Cypress! Oh my. There goes my waistline. I've never had a mochinut before. They are very good. It's the texture! Even after they sit for a while they're still good. They have a soft, little bit chewy, texture. They didn't change like a regular donut either. Just as good hours later. I got funnel cake with chocolate, cookies and cream, ube cloud, original and black sesame. They're all good with a subtle flavor except for the sesame. It does taste like sesame. It's really good if you like sesame flavor. I also got a half and half corndog with mozzarella. If you go in and order one they are made to order so give them a good 10 minutes for that. Maybe less if they aren't too busy. I didn't mind the wait for it. I also had a brown sugar milk tea with boba. All was good. It's a cute little place and the service was great. Service was good, flavors were good. The setting was average but clean. I was mainly disappointed that they don't have the usually flavors that I get, or that my son likes... but are normally offered at other locations. Other than that, it's good. I like how the shape makes it easy to tear off pieces to share. I just don't think I'd come back until they have my go-to flavors again: strawberry, original, and black sesame. The pink one in the photo isn't strawberry, I think it was raspberry, and it was too too sweet. I also got pistachio and matcha. I enjoyed those flavors, but the black sesame is always the best. Ordered 4 Corn dogs, Service is super slow and understaffed , been waiting for 50 minutes now because the packaging wasn't sealed correctly, causing my corn dog to fall out the packaging easily. So I went ahead and asked if it could be redone and the girl just looked at me and didnt say anything so then I offered myself to pay for it and she proceeded to charge me for it. As someone who works in the food industry it should always be our first priority to make sure the customers are satisfied with their purchase. I understand mistakes happen but I honestly don't think I should have been charged for the corn dog again because of the way it was poorly packaged. Wont be back to this location. read more
