    Savory Kolaches

I love Kolache Shoppe, and I love that it's close to home! This shop is always clean and the staff is always so friendly. I picked up a variety of savory kolaches today, and they were the bomb. There's also a drive-thru if you're in a hurry. Next, I want to try their PSL and Dubai Chocolate kolache.

Great food and drink. Just tried their Ranchero kolache. It does pack some heat. It was very good and so is the Vietnamese coffee. It is strong with a sweet taste. Great combo that also sells out fast. They have drive thru service. Cannot wait to come back for the brisket kolache. Get there early for brisket kolache. They sell quickly. Service is friendly and well informed about the food and drinks. Plenty of seats outside and it is covered. Parking is a few steps away. If you need to walk it off, next door there is a pet supplies store.

I was very excited when this Kolache Shoppe opened! I purchased a bag of savory kolaches through the too good to go app, and they were all yummy! I got a few jalapeño sausage and a few of the small sausage kolaches in the bag. The bags were pre-packed when I got there, so pick up was speedy. It's a very casual shop, with only a couple tables, so almost everyone took their food to go. Parking was easy as they share a decent sized lot in the small shopping plaza. They also have a drive through.

The place was clean and the selection of kolaches were full still even at 9:00 am. I tried the ranchero kolache and it was soo good. I can honestly say that the ranchero here was better than another popular spot. The bread was super sweet and it was packed with filling. 5 out of 5 for sure. I also got a cream cheese kolache and it was a 1 out of 5. I don't know if I should have asked to heat it up but it did not seem fresh and the dough used wasn't the same it wasn't sweet neither was the cream cheese. I definitely would pass on that. I will come back to try other meat filled kolaches.

This location is hands-down the BEST! I literally drive from downtown just to enjoy the amazing customer service, the delicious kolaches, and the super good Vietnamese coffee. This month they have ube kolaches and MANNNNNNNN... they are addicting! The shop is also so cute inside--such a cozy, welcoming vibe. You can taste the love they put into everything here. Do yourself a favor, go try it--and thank me later!

Kolache Shoppe is one of Pearland's newest bakeries/kolache shops. I passed up a bunch of similar spots to get here and I will say it was worth the drive. It is located in a newer shopping strip on the west side of Pearland and still has that new feel to it. Parking is plentiful. Customer service was great. I came at the tail end of service and was still able to get items that I was interested in. From what I read, the original Kolache Shoppe has been on Richmond Ave in Houston for many years and recently has started expanding once the owner passed down his recipe and his business to new owners. What brought me here was the Too Good To Go app. Essentially, this app notifies you when restaurants have too much inventory around closing time and offers certain items at a deep discount. That day's offer was a bag of sweet kolaches at a discounted price. I went in, showed them the offer and the nice lady behind the counter filled up a bag with assorted fruit kolaches and. What I got was apple, blueberry, cherry, cream cheese, and a couple of cinnamon twists. One of my weaknesses and favorite foods is savory kolaches (proper name is Klobasniky). I couldn't leave without atleast trying a few of the options. They were sold out of my first choices so I got a sampling of the small sausage/cheese and bacon/cheese. I took it all home and shared. I heated them up just slightly and I was instantly impressed. First off the bread in both the savory and sweet was so good. Even after a few days and a little heating up, it tasted wonderful. The fruit kolaches were equally as good. The dough was soft, buttery and held up well with the fruit fillings. The non kolache item cinnamon twists were a surprise addition to what I got but were very good too. I really like that they use local, quality ingredients for their kolaches. I will definitely keep this place in my rotation when the cravings hit.

This is my absolute favorite place for kolaches. It started in 1990 when I would visit the Greenway location before going to work. Often times the sales reps would bring in tons of cream cheese kolaches and the mini sausage kolaches. They were so good!! I missed them once I moved to the Pearland location, but I was so excited when they opened up a branch nearby!! I've been getting my kolache fix almost every weekend now. I just love this place. The service is so fast, they have a drive thru, you can order online and it'll be waiting for you, the restaurant is super casual.... There's just nothing not to love. We must keep this place in business. They're amazing! Immediately after hurricane Beryl they opened to serve the community in a time when groceries weren't available. I love this place. I'm having breakfast from there right this minute.

Kolache Shoppe always hits the spot when I'm craving kolaches. The bread is always perfect - light and fluffy. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese has a strong cheddar flavor which pairs well with the salty bacon and the Kiolbassa, Cheese & Jalapeno had a nice heat. As for their temporary items, the Holiday Cranberry & Cream Cheese is a winner but the Turkey, Gravy, & Stuffing left something to be desired. Maybe cranberry pieces or cranberry sauce to shake things up? Store was clean and staff nice. As with my prior experiences, if you come after the morning rush they may be out of some selections! We came a bit before 10am and they were out of the Bacon & Cheese and were low in numbers of the Holiday Cranberry & Cream Cheese.

stopped in and tried about 10 different Kolaches, both savory and sweet. In general the Savory Kolaches where good to very good. The venison sausage was better than I expected. The sweet Kolaches were fine, but not the best I have tried. Each kolache costs between $2 and $4 and a meal can get pricy quickly, however I think paying the few extra $$ is worth it for the quality when compared to some of the other competitors in the area. I would recommend and return.

Vibe- This is a nice kolache shop with about 4 circular tables with chairs to sit at inside. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the cinnamon twist and a Vietnamese cold brew; they were both tasty! Parking- There's a good amount of spots in the lot.

Tuck away in the plaza with a drive thru. It's a small shop mainly to grab and go. The workers are nice and helpful. We've seen it many times when eating at other shops in the plaza but never stop by until now. They did a collaboration with Roostar creating a must try Vietnamese BBQ Pork (Char Siu Bao) Bun. It was delicious. They did not skimp on the meat and sauce. We ate half a dozen so fast I totally forgot to take a picture! All the meats are top notch. Sausages are Kiolbassa Polish style and brisket is from Killeen's BBQ. We will be back and hope the Vietnamese BBQ Pork stays on the menu!!!!

I told y'all I would be back! When I visited earlier this week, the boudin kolaches were not available but I was told that they would be on Friday. With that information, I was early to rise Friday morning and after a brisk run, I made my way into the Kolache Shop to replenish those carbs! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted politely by the staff just like before. I stepped up to the counter and asked for two boudin kolaches and a brisket, egg, jalapeño and cheese, just for the sake of balance. I paid and that's when I noticed that they had Vietnamese coffee. Ca phê sữa đá is one of my guilty pleasures along with kolaches, so who am I to pass up an opportunity to drink one. The boudin kolache was tasty. I did like the flavor of the boudin, however I am such a fan of boudin, that I would have liked a bit more in the kolache. I would have like it stuffed like my Christmas stocking when I've been a good boy all year. There was a little too much space given in this kolache. However, I will still give it a 5 for taste. As for the ca phê sữa đá aka Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it was impressive. I was tempering my expectations because outside of Bellaire or home made, I usually find watered down versions. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this Vietnamese coffee was not watered down. It definitely had a strong taste of Robusta coffee beans and was not overly sweet, just the way I like it. Paired with the Boudin, my tastebuds were in heaven, trying to decipher if I was in Louisiana or Vietnam. To the amazement of my tastebuds, I was still in Pearland, Texas at the Kolache Shoppe! Do yourself a favor and stop by soon, or twice in one week, like me! Please see my previous review for other kolaches.

It quite literally took 10 minutes to be seated. The staff were pretty nice, they smile when they speak, courteous as well. The music playing was loud, but nothing i couldn't hear my girlfriend over. We still maintained a good conversation and tone level without yelling over. We were greeted by our waiter pretty quickly after being seated, she took our drink order. We both ordered mimosa flights which came with pineapple, watermelon, peach, and raspberry. We liked the mimosas a lot. The waiter came back after about 10minutes to take our order, she made a couple of table stops before getting back to us. We ordered the Billionaires Bacon; a thick-cut applewood smoked bacon with yuzu, honey, brown sugar chili rub, and 24k gold. This was very good but it tasted like thick cut bacon with syrup on it. I also ordered the Banana Split French Toast; a caramelized banana, berried, mascarpone in a waffle cone, i think a caramel sauce with powdered sugar and syrup on the side.. very good, will be my go to every time i go back. I also ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of avocado. That had chorizo, bacon, cheese, hash browns, onions, peppers, beans, eggs, and salsa on the side. The burrito was pretty big and filling. I only ate half but it was good. A normal breakfast burrito if i do say so myself. My girlfriend ordered the 'Basic AF'; two eggs, smashed potatoes, mini pancakes, and maple chicken sausage. She said it was very good. The maple chicken sausage and the pancakes were the star of her show. Overall, great experience for first timers. I attached all pictures as well. We will definitely be back.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience needs management's attention…read more When I visited this location during a family reunion in Houston, the men's restroom had an overwhelming odor of urine. There appeared to be bodily fluids on the restroom floors and on top of the stalls, extending toward the sink area. One of the urinals had a paper towel placed over it with what appeared to be bodily fluids present. The restroom needed immediate attention. While those sanitation issues were occurring, I observed someone watching a UFC fight on a cell phone that had been propped up on one of the restaurant's decorative areas. Whether it was during work or not, it gave the impression that sanitation was not being treated as a priority. I informed a server about the restroom conditions and asked if someone could address them. I was told not to have an attitude by my server (while explaining to him the plate). That response was disappointing, especially after raising what I believed were legitimate health and sanitation concerns. My partner also told me she saw creamers dropped onto the floor and then placed back into the serving container instead of being discarded. She also informed me that the women's restroom had bodily fluids on the toilets. To make matters worse, the plate my food was served on had dried food residue around the top, rim, and on the underside, which I photographed. Clean dishes are one of the most basic expectations when dining out. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, properly sanitized dishware, and food-safe practices. Those standards protect both customers and employees. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect those expectations.

Another employee from the bar area also spoke with me and was very kind. She explained that she had not bagged the order. When the manager got on the phone, I explained that I had already discussed the situation with two employees. His response was, "This is the first time I'm hearing about this. You're too far away, so I don't have anyone to drive the gravy to you. I can't give you the gravy. What would you like me to do?" The tone came across as annoyed and dismissive. I let him know that I was already planning to dispute the missing item through Uber Eats, but that I was calling because I wanted to understand why this issue keeps occurring. There was no offer for me to pick up the missing gravy or any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation beyond saying he would speak with the staff. What surprised me most was the contrast between the helpfulness of the employees and the manager's attitude. The staff members were courteous and understanding, while the manager seemed to assume I was exaggerating or making up the issue. Unfortunately, because of both the repeated order mistakes and the poor customer service from management, I won't be ordering from here again.

I wouldn't say it's competition style BBQ, but for a local restaurant, it's definitely good BBQ and a place we enjoy coming back to. The portions are generous, the food is consistent, and it's a restaurant that works well for our whole family. The sides are also really good and there are plenty of options to choose from. The desserts are probably the one area that didn't stand out as much for me. I tried the bread pudding, and it was just not my favorite. The flavor and texture were a little different than what I expected. That being said, the BBQ itself is what keeps us coming back. Overall, Big Horn BBQ is a great spot with good food, big portions, and options that make it easy for everyone in our family to find something they enjoy. The service is fast and it feels like a cowboys restaurant with all the animals on the walls!

They have good BBQ, but for me the BBQ brisket baked potato is the best. I get it every time, and it's always satisfying especially with the bbq sauce. The baked potato for me is so large that you can easily share it or eat from it twice. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, yams, and corn casserole. The yams had good flavor, but some pieces had a slimy, mushy texture. The mac and cheese was pretty standard, while the corn casserole tasted almost like bread pudding with corn, which may be delicious if that's your thing. Since this was my first time dining inside, I noticed they had a large array of desserts and coffee options that I'll most definitely be returning to try. The inside of the restaurant is massive, decorated, and spacious enough to accommodate both small and large parties. The customer service could have been better. It's usually great when I order through the drive thru window, so it was disappointing that the service inside wasn't the same.
