Thankfully, my friend Reed was with me, so we were able to pull over, put on a spare, and drive carefully to the nearest tire store--which happened to be another Tires Plus. The mechanics there were extremely friendly and not only did they replace my tire quickly, they charged me nothing(!!) Even if I had not purchased road hazard insurance, they were kind enough to replace my tire free of charge. Now if that doesn't deserve 5 stars, I don't know what does. When I returned immediately to point this out, they claimed they "don't make conventional anymore--only semi or full synthetic," yet their website still advertises "The Regional" package with conventional oil. They gave no clear explanation for the wrong filter and refused to fix or refund the difference.
