They were over $100 LESS than a Toyota dealership in the Cities -- so yeah, I made an appt. During the appt they found the one serpentine belt to be extremely cracked - - so they recommend to replace. (They showed me the belt, and it's amazing that it's held up for 144k miles.) BUT....what impressed me was: a) I was able to get a morning appt no problem b) they only took 45min to replace the drivers headlight and belt c) they STILL were less expensive than what the dealership in the Cities was going to charge Friendly service, fair prices for authentic Toyota parts. I can't guarantee, but I also think they have some type of complimentary shuttle service - - cause I heard several other customers state that they needed a ride. Oh, and if you check in on your smartphone on yelp - - you get a $5 discount on an oil change.

Absolutely stay away from this business. Their customer service is horrible. It's a real long story…read morebut essentially we are 2.5 hours from home in a 40th anniversary 4Runner and the blower for the heat quit. It's a few minutes to diagnose and approx 20 minutes to replace it. They will not figure out a way to get us in. I'm 65 years old and have never dealt with a business that is run this badly. The service manager just told me that he has to take care of vehicles that have been sitting there a month to be repaired before he can look at ours. You've got to be kidding me!! There's so much wrong with this.

During negotiations the salesman and the…read moresales manager told me there wasn't much room for negotiation because the Certified program ensures the vehicle is thoroughly inspected to find any issues. I took the truck in to a different Chevy dealership for an oil change and tire rotation and I was told the truck needed a front end alignment and they refused to rotate the tires because the wear on the front tires was too extreme. I reached out to Sonju and was told the sales manager would call me. So far, nothing. Beware and move on. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

With no other options close to me and thinking they must be close to having it fixed I let them continue. That was another expensive mistake. After 2 weeks, they wanted to "pause" working on it because they had no more ideas of what to do. So, after 2 weeks and $4200, they had no idea what to do. I took it home and also discovered the amp for my radio had gotten burned out while they were working on it. I took it to a diesel shop, where they cleared it out of limp mode, which was the original problem, in a very short time. They charged less than $300. Then I had to bring it to another dealership, no way was it going back to Sonju, to get my amp replaced for another $1000. I'll never bring anything to Sonju for repairs again.

My husband, children and I went to Northstar Ford on Friday, May 23rd to purchase a used truck. We…read morehad a couple in mind and a price point. We did not have to wait long because we had made an appointment with Jeff Van Meter. He greeted us and brought us in his office to do paperwork and pre-approval. I had told him right away that we wanted to do a joint vehicle loan and we are married. He said since we are married and live in Wisconsin that is the best way to go. He tried to upsell us on other trucks which is totally fine because that is their job. We took the one we ended up buying for a test drive. I told him it had a chip in the windshield which he said they would set up to replace which they did set that up a week later. We told them we wanted it. Jeff and his team started the paperwork. I know it takes some time but when the guy that did the paper work came out to finalize the paperwork it was only in my husbands name (which also meant a slightly worst interest rate because I have a better credit score even though his isnt bad). When I mentioned it to the manager he just said Jeff didnt say that. My husband was pretty frustrated with being there so long with the kids he said whatever. Now I get a letter from the bank that did the loan saying "since you are married you take responsibility if he defaults on his loan but since you weren't on the loan it wont help your credit score". They do not listen to people even though Jeff had insisted that it was a joint loan in the beginning. When my husband leaves and meets back up with my children and I, he lets me know the backup camera isn't working. After trying to get a hold of Jeff for multiple days he says that he would "check with the used vehicle repair man" to see if they would cover it. I told him I understand it is a used vehicle but it worked when we test drove it AND it was advertised on the website as having a working back up camera. After a week of him not getting back to me, I am sure we are just written off and have to "deal with it". Also, the remote start advertised doesnt work on any key fob either You are just a number at Northstar Ford and not a person. Once you leave they don't give one crap. We will not be purchasing any more vehicles here. I should have listened to a friend that went to purchase a brand new vehicle last year and was treated rudely. Lesson learned, I guess. I also left a Google Maps review and someone said that the manager would reach out to try to resolve this ASAP and that was 3 days ago.

They give snarky remarks and act like you're inconveniencing them when you ask a question about the work done. Not only that. But if you're a female and come in, they will try and put one past you and charge you for stuff you didn't need done or shouldn't be paying for because of warranty. I showed up on time at 11am, handed the service counter my keys, and went to the waiting area. Over three hours pass without any communication, and then the customer rep comes out and tells me they can't get my wheels to fit, and that I need new center rings and lugs, but that they didn't have any in stock, and that they couldn't source them. What kind of service technician (of 30 years apparently) starts a job without checking fitment first? This is a Subaru Outback mind you, at a Subaru dealership, and they can't get the parts? He apologized and said they were putting my old tires back on and they'd be done shortly. That shortly lasted another hour before he came to tell me one of my tires was being "finicky", he apologized again and said they were almost done. 20 minutes later he finally comes to get me, and in the end I paid over $400 for tires I can't use. But they did give me a free car wash at Kwiktrip! Ooooo They charged me for an incomplete job, wasted my time and money, and now I have to get the work done somewhere else. Never again will I visit this dealership. Horrible service and terrible work ethic.
