WORST customer service ever, I've never had such a poor experience in my life. Which is unfortunate, because I support small self-owned businesses. But you get what you pay for... Went to him for a phone battery replacement. He is local, and honestly, he has low prices ($45 +tax for the battery replacement). He told me that his battery is not original product (ie, not Apple battery). That's fine, I just needed my phone to hold a charge. The new battery he replaced with was WORSE than my old battery. It went from 94% to 70% in less than an hour! I went back the next day, and his mannerism was abysmal. He told me, that's a new battery, must be a problem with your phone processor. I didn't want to risk trying another "un-original" phone battery through him and asked for a refund instead. He begrudgingly refunded $40, minus $5 for service fee. As I was leaving his kiosk, he blurted, "And don't come back." Like why? It was unwarranted, he could've just said nothing and let it be. Of course I wouldn't come back after such an experience. So I left, not only with a faulty battery, but also upset by his rude mannerism. The guy was angry at me for his own faulty product. And then gave me attitude for it... ;( Anyways, lesson learned to not go cheap. Went to Apple Store later that day, they ran diagnostics. Everything is fine with my phone. New battery ($69), and surprise surprise. It works just fine! I would advise anyone to avoid this place -- it's not worth the risk, nor the time and frustration, and overall horrendous customer service. read more

Date of visit: September 23, 2022 Several days ago, my iPhone 8 Plus had fallen out of my pocket while on my daily walk... and before I had a chance to recover it, at least one car had ran over it. Fortunately, the case and screen protector did their jobs - thank you, Bodyarmor for such a great case; my phone was still working! - but the screen itself was cracked a bit. So, I checked out Phone Doctor Plus online, saw they did screen repairs, and headed there the next morning with my fingers crossed that they would be able to replace the screen. Well, not only did they repair the screen ($75 - I went for the option that was close to the factory spec; the cheapest option is $45); they also added in a replacement screen protector for FREE! And not only that, my iPhone's screen looks and works great! Given how the Apple Store charges $169 not including tax - and Best Buy doesn't have replacement iPhone 8 Plus screens - I'd say this is definitely a bargain. I called to get an estimate and they answer the phone like it's an inconvenience and instantly said hello are you there as if he was waiting (he wasn't). Tried to tell him what I wanted and he literally told me to take my phone apart and look for the serial number (which he doesn't need to change a screen). I called back to tell him that seems extreme and would likely void any future warranty, he then just came up with a price of $95 to replace the screen but I now have no confidence in this location. You get what you paid for. Be cautious of budget service providers. I had one screen problem with an original apple iphone screen, he swapped out a new screen for $100 and the new screen was worse than the old one. He Didn't tell me it only had a 2 week warranty. I showed up 60 days later (felt that was reasonable warranty period) and the guy pointed to a piece of printer paper on the wall that said 2 week warranty. No remorse, no questions, barely turned his back to face me. I felt very brushed off and like it was highway robbery. I expected a little more customer service from someone so highly reviewed. to his credit, the sign is on the wall, but i was not advised and thats whats annoying. I sense that he was not in the mood to entertain questions, because of the way he was acting and the way he looked at me when I asked him like I was some inconvenience to him. When I present the phone to him he Immediately gave a quote on the cost of the phone without even touching or doing any diagnostics of any sorts. His asking price was $400. I was shocked. I just looked at him and I turned around and walked away. He was having a mood that day that his bad attitude just became up, front and center at that moment. I waited and did my research before posting this review. I had an issue with an old ipad. My daughter dropped it and the sound button got stuck and needed to be replaced. Knowing nothing about how to fix it, I started pricing around to see what they cost is. Phone Doctor was my first stop. The gentlemen working never looked at me or made any kind of eye contact. He spoke to me with his head down reading. He told me that in order to fix the sound ($40-$50), I also needed to replace the screen ($80). I inquired as to why if the screen is not broken. The gentlemen replied "well how else will you open the ipad to fix it? You know how to do it?" I left and continued to do my research. All of the other companies I checked with said that they could fix the sound button and the average cost was about $40 to $50. The said if you replace the screen it's faster because they don't need to go slow and not break the screen. But if they go slow to not break the screen, the process could take about 2 hours. Ultimately, I got my sound buttons fixed for $40 and no need for a new screen. read more

Later that night phone starting acting up, but too late to go back, and Tuesday morning we went to Palm Springs. Phone acted bizarre at times on trip, wouldn't respond to button presses and bouncing back and forth between apps. I was in the middle of saying "I can give it to you right now" when he HUNG UP on me. If he's that disrespectful to people, I wouldn't trust him to treat my devices with the care. I was ok with that because this is the only battery that had ever gone out on me. So I wasn't pleased with it anyway. After about 30 mins, I picked up my phone.
