I went out of my way to drive to this place because they were very responsive to me and seem to know what they are talking about when I went into thermal paste. It's always an amazing find to stumble across a small business that seems to want to do the right thing and get great service. Customer service 10/10!! I broke my Galaxy 23 ultra and was not able to see ANYTHING. I reached out to multiple vendors and they all quoted me half what I paid for my phone. This was the best quote I got and was super responsive. The owner let me know that the screen will not be the original but it would make my phone work. I had a black Apple Watch that got water damage in the shower. After some research, I found this guy and messaged him late at night. He told me to bring it by the next morning. When I arrived, I was surprised to find it was a house, not a shop. He told me to leave the watch in the mailbox, which felt strange, but I did it anyway. The next morning, he said the damage was too severe to repair but wouldn't charge me. I thanked him and arranged to pick it up at 3 PM. I even got him a gift card to show my appreciation. When I arrived, another customer was also waiting, and neither of us could reach him. After 30 minutes, he finally came out, saying he didn't hear his phone because it was on silent. He was disorganized, initially giving me the wrong watch and asking the other customer for payment again even though he had already paid. This experience was frustrating, and I decided not to give him the gift card. I wouldn't recommend his services to anyone. read more

UPDATE on my phone that i got fixed here about 6 months ago- i've dropped it nearly once a week. sometimes on flat surfaces where it was protected by my case, but one time it fell on the rocky, uneven pavement while i was biking and skidded 5 feet. i was almost crying KNOWING it would be shattered, i'd have to get it fixed again, but no i picked it up and it was completely fine. again, i got my phone fixed here for $110 when chain stores wanted me to pay $250 for a screen that wouldn't fully function. 6 months later in the clumsiest hands possible and it's still in great condition! thanks again mr Franchitti!! read more

Needed my 2020 MacBook Air screen replaced after a low fall made my screen go from half working to black (MacBook Air cases are a joke). Requested a quote, for which he got back to me very quickly, and which was very reasonable ($40 -$140 less than 7 other competitors). I was a little weary because while he has an LLC, it can be nerve-wracking to go with a private one-person set-up. But, based on the stellar reviews, his background, and of course estimate, he was the way to go. Very glad I did. I made a deposit for the cost of parts (just under $200) and dropped off my laptop to him personally at his house within a couple of days. Very affable guy. Had the computer ready to go within 45 minutes, though I picked up the next day right after I sent the remainder of my bill (only $60 for labor, wow). Always responded quickly and politely through the Yelp app. Laptop is working great and I can finally go back to my important work of watching Netflix on a slightly larger screen than my tablet :) Overall, I highly recommend his services, and my family now has a permanent go-to for tech fixes. read more

I have an older samsung tv I really like that quit on me. Thought Id found a place, but I showed up and it turned out to be closed. So I was in the car trying to find a plan b on my phone. Found Steve on yelp & had good ratings. Turned out he is in a neighborhood I was really familiar with, so I headed there. Did not see a storefront, so I parked & called. Turns out he doesn't really do tvs, and works from home, but said he would be happy to look at it. He did some troubleshooting, & electrical testing. These tvs are actually pretty simple inside. It looks like all you can really do is replace the boards one by one. I had already found & replaced one board via ebay after going to a fixit clinic at the library. Sometimes they need new led light strips. If that doesn't do it, all thats left is the screen itself, which gets into not worth it territory. I wasnt sure if the board I got might be faulty, so he tested & said power was going through it. He spent at least an hour with me, when I had shown up out of the blue, which he didnt have to do & I really appreciated. I will definitely keep him in mind for other device issues I may have in the future. Im glad we still have a few people out there willing to help us keep all these things out of the landfill a little longer. read more
