If you've been an avid follower of mine, you'd know that my husband loves anything and everything pizza. BUT! A pizza cone?! The equivalent of two slices?? It was 5PM and for an early dinner, we gave this a go. Let me start off by saying, this is BETTER than some of the pizza being offered on the boardwalk. The crispy cone made of dough allows you to actually not have greasy hands, like most pizza gives you. The margarita pizza was a great option for us, since we wanted to try this in its purest form. The cheese was gooey and plentiful, and the sauce - the only thing missing was maybe some slices of basil to really make it pop! Hesitation over the fries? Get the cheddar bacon!! These are no bacon bits - it's REAL pieces of bacon and it's worth NOT sharing.

Sounded fun so we decided to stop in! Store was very sparse..seemed like they were moving in or moving out. A few oddly placed pieces of plastic furniture in the otherwise empty store helped us sit while we waited for the kones to be prepared. Took a bit longer than I expected, but wasn't terrible. I could see this as an issue if there was a line or a rush, but we were the only ones in the store. They came out piping hot and we needed to wait to try and hold or eat them. The kones themselves were just ok. Not good, not bad, just ok. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar and the cheese didn't taste like anything. It was fun and definitely different, but I'm not sure it was $7 -a-piece 'fun'.

Saw the sign on the boardwalk. It said pizza in a cone. Needless to say I had to have one. I'm full but I still want another one. Now they're giving me a dessert treat. Something new they're trying. These guys are nice.

We had read wonderful reviews of Kono pizza and were excited to try something new on the Wildwood boardwalk. Kono is the very first business on the southern end of the boardwalk. I ordered a Margherita cone and my daughter ordered a white broccoli cone. The cones were made fresh to order, and were delivered hot! Each cone was layered with cheese, sauce, and toppings! They were wonderfully cheesy and not greasy at all! The cone (crust) was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming! Kono Pizza is a great addition to the boardwalk! We will definitely be back for gelato!

Great place hard to find unless you walk at the beginning of the boardwalk in the crest. The place is super clean and the pizza cones are very good and a nice change of pace from the usual boardwalk food. The gentleman that were working there were super nice and informative of there product and explained that the cones were imported from Italy the Fried ravioli is something I will try next time.

Friendly and quick service. The pizza cone was delicious. I think the pizza and the ingredients they use is better than some of the other pizza places in the boardwalk. Its also not greasy. The only gripe I have since its cone shape, the toppings and portion is not as big as the regular slice pizza. Overall, i like it and would definitely recommend to try it out as it is unique.

Heard this place was on the boardwalk, so a special 10pm bike ride was necessary to try it. Got a margarita cone, and a sausage and pepperoni cone. The margarita cone is absolutely on point. MAKE SURE THE MIDDLE COOLS A BIT! It's like hot molten lava cheese, but sooooo good. The sausage and pepperoni was a bit too salty for my taste. Margarita ones were soo good, my wife made me go back the next night to get her another one.

We visited Kono Pizza this past week during our vacation to Wildwood and it was one of our best choices. It was a fun dinner and it tasted phenomenal. Can't wait to visit again for some more deliciousness. The staff was friendly, the seating was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Hit this new spot yesterday and was overwhelmed by their attention to detail and customer satisfaction! Both the owner and manager made sure we were completely satisfied and even brought us complementary chicken fries with cheese and bacon. They were delicious! The pizza cones were awesome too! I had a plain cheese cone and my daughter had bacon. Both were delivered to our table outside and were sizzling hot! While we enjoyed them, several staff members checked on us to see if we were satisfied and we needed anything. We both enjoyed our cones. The sauce has great flavor and the cheese is delicious! We will definitely be back!

Walked by this place and saw they were advertising vegan cheese so we had to stop in! The workers were very friendly and we're asking us about vegan recommendations to add to the menu in the future. I also appreciated the staff pointing out that they store their vegan and dairy options separately!! I was impressed with how good the cones were and the cheese ended up melting really well (the owner told the worker to keep them in the oven a little longer). My mom got the crab cone and loved it as well. We'll def be back here!!

Best Gelato on the boardwalk , I don't think anyone else even serves it. Just watered down ice cream everywhere else . Their Fries are amazing, ( I've had a few different kind ) I live for the Coconut Gelato . Only different place on the boardwalk & u walk away feeling good about what you spent your money on .

As I walked in I noticed they did an amazing job of putting bunch of table together, making a giant row for all of our party to sit together. Inside of the restaurant seemed nice. Their menu had a wide range of Italian dishes including small plates, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and entrees from land and sea. From plates I got to try the zucchini fritters and polpo affogato (grilled octopus), both were excellent. Among pizzas, I tried the four cheese, the fig, the truffle and the Margherita. All their pizzas were so good, loved the toppings and the crust. Among the entrees, Bronzino oreganato, linguini and clams, chicken parmesan pasta were also really top notch. Despite the restaurant being house full, the staff members did an excellent job of keeping up with the tables. Our server was a pro, handled all different orders and requests of 18 people efficiently. The kitchen also kept up with all the dishes, though it took them some extra time but all the pizzas and dishes were cooked perfectly. There was a 3% fee for using credit card. But overall everyone in our group had a wonderful dinner experience.

For today's order, I opted for the pizza of the month special and it certainly did not disappoint and was made with Pepperoni whipped ricotta basil and mikes hot honey. Never again! I…read moreshould have been tipped off to what fortune awaited us when there was not one other customer in the place at twelve noon, on a Saturday, in the summer. Ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan wings, two personal "pizzas", one regular & the other white. Let's start with the wings. Absolutely no flavor, which will be a recurring theme. All they did was sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the wings. To be fair, they were crispy, but again, the breading tasted like cooking oil. Drowning the wing in ranch dressing was the only way to make it palatable. Twenty five minutes later the "pizzas" arrived. The white pie was barely edible. Literally just burnt mozzarella cheese on a thin, hard, favor-less crust. Maybe the garlic & spice delivery truck didn't come this week? Their regular pie definitely was an improvement over the white, but nothing to write home about. No joke, you can make a better tasting pizza at home using only three items from Costco...stone flat bread, mozzarella cheese, & Mama Rao's sauce. I will acknowledge that the place was clean & the young lady working the counter was attentive. They also do have free refills on fountain drinks, so there's that. Overall, the fact that this place is a franchise boggles my mind. Like, how to did someone get hoodwinked into thinking this was a wise long term investment opportunity? I wish this place luck, but let's be honest, it won't be here the next time I am in Wildwood.
