Had a marathon repair on my split A/Cs unit as they are old and needed attention. KoolTemp kept on the case from day one to secure parts for my units and when same arrived from the dealer they send Matt out and he fixed it in a couple of hours during a heatwave! Amber, the lady dealing with the order of the parts, the appointments and my heat caused frustrations was over and above what was expected. Kool Temp installed a air handler for us in August 2019, and only told us upon routine servicing in 2021 that they failed to install a drip pan, which was paid for as part of the install causing extensive damage to our home. When we called to ask for their insurance companies name so we can file a claim, their response was "so what do you want us to do about it"?! I said 'fix it, you caused the damage'. To date, after 3 failed attempts to repair it, the system is still dripping water in the home, went thru 4 levels of a townhome. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT BACK UP THEIR WORK, AND DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE, WE ARE LEFT WITH THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN REPAIRS, AND REMEDIATION, WHAT A JOKE THEY TURNED OUT TO BE!!! read more

Discovered a problem over the weekend with my coil icing up. Called first thing Monday morning. Westley the tech, was here a little after 9am that morning! Thoroughly checked system with gauges and temp. Determined I was in need of a charge and that likely had a small leak in my inside coil. My Lennox system is around 13 years old, always worked flawlessly. He advised me of options and I decided to add a charge to get me through the season. He was punctual, and courteous. I will be installing a replacement system in the future and certainly will entertain a quote from Kool Temp! read more

Won't be buying one from anyone who wants to hard sell me using scare tactics. Signed up for the "Annual Maintenance Contract" and after Kool Temp performed the so-called "service" to our furnaces and hot water heaters, problems developed. All the equipment was dependable prior to their technician handing the oil-burners. 60% failure rate since. Their slogan is "Fixed Right or It's Free" however they charged over $200. to fix what the first technician bungled. So it actually wasn't fixed right and it certainly wasn't free. In fact, according to the invoice, I was charged $200. for a $30. part. If you need HVAC services, you will do well to avoid Kool Temp. read more
