Called at 4:30 in the afternoon and was told it would be an after hours charge to have someone come out and all to the tune of SIX HUNDRED and NINE dollars to replace the part they installed 3 1/2 years ago. And to make it even better the new part isn't covered by a new warranty only a continuous. So if the part goes out again, it will be out of warranty! Shoddy service. Shoddy equipment. Shoddy installation. Be very cautious when using this company. We had no choice in our new build but will never use them again!

I am so glad I found Halo HVAC through Yelp! My AC stopped cooling in a heat wave and I had many…read moreother companies quoting me $200++ for diagnostics or unable/unwilling to come out for weeks. I went to Yelp looking for a better option and definitely found one! Halo was able to come out within a couple days of contacting them and the diagnostic fee was $89, which was to be applied to any work performed if needed. it turned out it was a tripped breaker they were able to reset and my system is cooling perfectly again... for $89!! The most notable and appreciated factor for me is they didn't come in trying to sell me service plans, upgrades to my system or accessories, or otherwise upsell me on a well maintained and well functioning older HVAC system. Even when I asked for a quote on a heat pump to take advantage of the rebates while they last, Halo didn't push me to pick the most expensive option or upsell me on a pricier type of system. And icing on the cake - despite a lot of in and out while working on figuring things out, my technician was constantly putting on and taking off booties to keep my house clean. It's a small token of respect that goes a long way, and I very much appreciate it! I'll be using Halo and referring them to friends and family in the future!

Making excuses for it only perpetuates the mindset that poor workmanship is somehow ok or acceptable. People pay a lot of money for their furnace and a/c. We expect a job well done, not excuses. I invited Mike Missimer to look at the sloppy workmanship, and I extend the same invitation to you. You need to see firsthand the crappy job your techs are doing. To perspective customers - run as far away from MGI as you possibly can. There are better companies out there.
