Crispy fries!
Dave S.

Found this food truck at a school event. Tried the Elvis got the Blues Burger. Holy cow. That is a good burger. the french fries are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Great flavor.

Fish tacos

This is a great place for a burger! They offer a BYOB (build your own burger) option that offers nice different meat choices.... bison, wagyu etc and pick a half pound or full 16 oz, made the way you like it. Good fish tacos also!

Arugula, shroom, aioli

On the bright side, I can definitively say that these burgers are far better than those from the Dorothy Moon food truck that used to often visit my job at lunch time--but these look and smell better than they taste. I will admit my quintessential burger is one that is done medium rare--and although I asked for mine cooked rare-mid rare it definitely was not. It was at least medium well. If they could not cook it the way I wanted, they should've said so. What I did like were the bun and the fresh fixings. I had tomato, some super fresh arugula and yummy mushrooms. The meat was just OK. It didn't seem like 1 lb of meat, though, as ordered... Not sure if the burger was worth $8. I'll stick with McCormick and Schmick's happy hour, Five Guys, Rays and umm, my charcoal grill for great burgers.

Around the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus, there isn't really a plethora of eatery delights on wheels, except for the normal hot dog carts. So for lunch, as I was walking towards the golden arches to grab a quick bite of the elusive McRib (yes I know... I have stooped so low! fails)... I saw this happy looking truck with cute dogs on it. There is a good amount of variety from this burger truck. Pick your choice of burger: bison, beef, turkey, and veggie, pick your choice of 3 toppings, pick your choice of cheese, and pick your choice of 3 sauces for just $8. So, $8 might seem a lot at first, but for the amount of toppings/customization you can get on your burger and the sheer size of this burger (it is ginormous), it is worth the money. They have a lot of more special toppings (ie: baja salsa which was pretty yummy), than you may be normally used to, so be prepared for moment of indecisiveness. Fresh, made to order burger to send you into a food coma. For another $2 you can get fries (sweet potato, regular, or half & half). I wasn't a fan, but meh... the burger was the show stopper here. It's $1 for a can of soda. I kind of wish they had like root beer floats or something (somesort of a sweetness to pair up the richness of the burger), but might be too hard for a food truck to handle so many different elements. Also, wished that they would toast the buns prior to loading it up, but maybe they will do it upon request? They said that they will be at W. Baltimore St. and S. Greene Street/S Paca Street every Wednesday serving up lunch starting from today.

Gonzo sliders with no tomatoes
Ali A.

I ordered the Gozo sliders with no tomatoes for lunch. It tasted good but there was nothing special really. I would probably get a five guys burger instead of burger here because five guys has a bigger burger with a better price, and in my opinion a better tasting burger. I would probably go to this shop again if I wanted to see how a "wagyu" burger tasted like, even though I don't know if it would be worth the 12 dollars. But pretty much this has an ok burger, but with a little a high of a price.

Thankfully, we didn't have a long wait at all (for 2 people). Selections: 1) Large lemonades - Generous size and nice flavor. My buddy had a flavored lemonade and mentioned it didn't have much of the other flavor. Otherwise, they were decent lemonades. 2) As a native NYer, I love a messy burger. These were not that. They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. For the price paid, I can't say if I'd return. Maybe other locations season/ flavor their dishes a little more. I dunno...

With their late hours and short drive, BB made sense. The place itself is simple and no-frills, just like the menu items. My dining friend had a burger and I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich with a large order of tots to share. The sandwiches were okay- not great not awful. Both required some doctoring up to elevate them lol. The tots, however, were the star of the show- crispy with good flavor. Summed up, you can't go wrong for a decent late night meal at a reasonable price.

This back corner of the market has a bit of a retro club vibe with some TVs playing movies for you to enjoy if you choose to eat at the bar or any tables back there. My boys got a basic burger built to their specifications. Child #1 is vegetarian and lucky for him, they do offer Beyond Burger patties as an option. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't too bad. Crispy coating, but I felt the chicken was a tad dry. Fortunately they had a nice sauce to compliment it. The fries were average. You can opt for a variety of dipping sauces, which is a nice touch. The service is as fast as possible for made-to-order and the prices are okay. I decided to go in and the general manager Dan came to speak with me. I felt very dismissed, he expressed that the rock probably came from the potato, honestly I was understanding that things like this happen as I also work in service. It was the way he responded to me, as he said "ok and what do you want me to do about it" there was no apologies or I'm sorry this happened. I wasn't asking for him to comp my entire meal, but the least he could have done was apologize and or discount the meal or one beverage. I mainly addressed this issue to make them aware, and I honestly wouldn't have written this review if Dan the general manager was one, polite and two the least bit apologetic. I walked out feeling dismissed and irritated. Better sub your fries for salad unless you would like an unexpected trip to the dentist.
