Mostly they are liars, their leader is a liar, the mayor lies about the cops, saying they are doing a good job. Whenever I have dealt with a CDA cop they always, always try and turn the situation around to make it look like its your fault. I had a real cop, a cop from a huge city tell me that simply they do this so they don't have to write up a police report. I wouldn't call a CDA cop if my life depended on it. I suppose their may be one out of a hundred cops in CDA that do a good job but I doubt, anyone like that would have moved away a long time ago. One time in the fall at dusk I was blowing leaves near the street with a blower. I would stop when a car drove by so as not to blow leaves and dust into the oncoming car, pretty soon a CDA cop shows up and says they got a call about a suspicious leaf blower, said suspiciously I would stop when a car drove by. The cop wanted my ID, I said no, I'm working. Then I said they send you out on dangerous calls don't they? The whole department is a joke.

Meanwhile, Some random guy walked by and lit up a joint, and he even managed to walk by a second time right next to me and the Officer. I put in for expungement after paying the fine due to it effecting job opportunities and it got denied the same day I submitted it. Since then, it has affected employment opportunities, And meanwhile, this is my first offense, besides a traffic violation 12 years ago. I have three kids and a wife and now have to file bankruptcy because of how badly it has been affecting my employment opportunities. I test for the Spokane County Corrections in September, and they laughed at how far a stick is lodged up Kootenai County's rear end. I didn't even get to sip the beer. Love me some "justice" in Kootenai County.

Don't even think about getting anywhere efficiently when summer rolls around, because traffic light cycles become atrocious, cars are backed up for miles, and a 15 minute drive turns into a 30 minute nightmare of bumper to bumper traffic. Plan to wait at least two light cycles before getting through any intersection, especially if you have to make any left hand turns, and assume that you will be traveling at least 10mph below the speed limit at all times because of the sheer strain thousands of additional cars place on a two lane highway. Also road closures and construction may appear out of nowhere at peak times and worsen the problem for no reason, so plan accordingly. Good luck on the roads, you'll need it!

If your late by 1min bam 100ticket and ppl are complaining about it all over the city . I have a permit where I park and also on the street it is 2hr parking. I had just pulled in my 2hr parking knowing it was 2hrs and hadn't even gotten out of my truck and the parking lady immediately parks in front of me and gets out of here little vehicle and walked to my window and I rolled it down she says this is 2hr parking. I said yeaaaa okay I know this and I also have a permit for the parking across the street I could move if you like over there knowing I had just pulled in the 2hr on the street.She says its 2hr parking here a 2nd time and takes a picture of my permit. I said uhhh okaaaay..She then returns a 3rd time and gives me a card to have to call her supervisor and takes a picture of my license plate. At this point I got out and said mam I already know this is 2hr parking and you literally wouldn't let me out of my truck because your trying to tell me about 2hr parking. At this point its been over 30mins talking to her and then having to call the supervisor and she tells me okay your good...I felt harassed and I can see how they can be shady. Like if you did this to everyone in CDA your going to lose tourists. Im giving the parking patrol a minus 1 review thats negative one because it was just too much and a waste of 30mins explaining to here I already know the rules haha. 3times she approached my window before I could even step out of my truck then pictures of my plates then comes back and takes pictures of my active permit. Your tourists are talking bad about you and I hear it and also can relate now. Terrible. Watch where you park ppl and dont be even 30seconds late because they will steal your money. They even have a padded room for the restless type, built in toilet and free mental health counseling, deep tissue massage comes with the VIP treatment I highly recommend this place. Unfortunately, it's small and the mattress need upgraded. Also free rides , comes with chrome braclets and a background check. Very safe . Make this a stop on your next trip to coeurdalene.

He pulled over to the shoulder and I changed lanes as I believe this is the law. He then quickly pulled back on to the road and proceeded to pull me over. It made absolutely no sense to me. So I pulled over and he came off aggressive at first. He pointed his flash light in my face and asked me several questions including where I work. I answered everything. He said he was looking for drunk drivers. Then told me he pulled me over because I failed to use my indicator correctly. This seems like entrapment to me. He then tried to cover up his wrong judgement. Please do a better job and stop bullying the law abiding citizens. What a waste of my time and yours.

My wife's and my experience with making an appointment and meeting with our Social Security…read morerepresentative (Kiana) was outstanding. First, the gentleman who answered the appointment line was professional, courteous, and efficient. We called on a Wednesday morning and he was able to schedule get an appointment for us on Friday! We arrived at the CDA Social Security office about 15 minutes early to allow for check-in. We received our numbered ticket and only had to wait ten minutes until we met with Kiana. Kiana was professional, courteous, very personable and friendly. In addition, she was extremely patient in answering all of our questions and helping us with our request. TOP MARKS to Kiana! We appreciate how hard these representative work for us and we just wanted to express our appreciation for making this a positive and productive appointment!!

He was running around getting water and coffee for us! The only negative part was the bad attitudes of some of the jurors trying out get out of serving. Seriously I'm so sad for our society and this is a great place to watch it in action! I am not going to huff and puff next time I get a yellow envelope from the county! It really isn't that bad!
