On the grind is my favorite coffee shop ever! I always get their keto coffees, but with their specialty flavors like pumpkin spice, peppermint mocha, and they taste way better than any other sugar-free drink at other coffee shop I've been to. I also love their stamp cards so you can get a free drink after getting 10 of them. And you can't go wrong with their muffin tops. They are so delicious and have different flavors throughout the seasons! read more

Service at this location is consistently disappointing. The staff often come across as uninterested or rude, and our drinks are wrong more often than not even when the order is very simple. It's frustrating because this stand is convenient, but the experience never seems to improve. read more

the Service is terrible at this location specifically, all the girls are rude, and they consistently make our very simple drinks incorrectly. It's worth the extra 5 min drive to another location if it means you avoid this one! I'd give zero stars if I could. I have been here many times because it is close to my house and I truly don't think I've had one good experience with this stand! read more

I spit this out of my coffee today! We live in the neighborhood next to this location and have been going to the old one for years and always had a great experience! Since the new building the drink quality and consistency has tanked! My wife is lactose intolerant and we have had to toss many of her drinks because they keep messing up her order. So much now that she refuses to go back. I get the same drink every time and haven't had 2 taste the same since the new building. read more

The ratio between coffee to half and half was literally 50/50. I tried calling the website number to file a complaint and no one answered. Highly recommend everyone to taste their drinks prior to leaving the premises unless you want a lemon. read more

Have visited this shop several times in the past few years. This is a small drive through coffee shop that upholds the coffee business and request of hundreds of residents in the area. On the Grind Coffee has a pretty good drive thru setup to enhance the speed of your coffee. Love this place because you are in and out in less than 5 mins if there is no line. Super straightforward, you can look at their menu online to know what to order ahead of time. And if you are a frequent go-er, they have a stamp card and if you fill it all out, you can get a free coffee. read more

My husband and I just relocated to New Braunfels, and were looking for a coffee place. There is a DD here, but on the opposite side of town. So, we decided to give this "drive thru" coffee shop a try. I am SO glad we did! I get an iced caramel macchiato, and it is truly the best I have ever had. DELICIOUS, and cheaper than I expected. My husband loves their smoothies, and hot coffees. On top of the delicious coffee and smoothies, everyone that works there is so overly kind. I think their coffee is fine. I'm not a local but the locals here love it out of loyalty. Nothing wrong with that but I find the coffee to be just okay. It tastes a bit watery to me. My lady loves their lattes. She is a local. One thing I hate though is the workers are trained to make small talk and I find it annoying at times because some workers are just bad at it and you're left in these awkward situations. The ones that are good at it, it's great. I do prefer more flavorful coffees like Starbucks and the coffee at 2Tarts. read more

There was a dead bee in my drink that was served in a clear cup. There's no excuse for anyone to not see that either a. The cup had a fly in it or b. We poured a fly into the cup. Unless you prefer having deals bugs in your beverages, don't come here. read more

From a business owner standpoint I personally hate yelp but I have to give credit where credit is due. Every single time that I go get my coffee here the girls in the shop are always extremely personable. I was starting my journey to Houston and just couldn't pass this cute place up! It's a drive thru with a door on each side so they can help people quickly! It was hard to decide on a drink because they all looked delicious. I love making my own Red Bull slushies so I went with the passion fruit blended Red Bull. Any time we visit the area, we always come here. The people who work here are very nice-doesn't usually happen with teenagers. Whoever manages this place has chosen really great employees. My favorite drink is the iced grinder with no whip, and my husbands is the cinnabomb. read more

Forget about going to Starbucks! On The Grind offers amazing coffee with wonderful customer service at a good price! The only reason I didn't vote give them a full five is I wish they would have a little bit bigger selection and maybe some snacks. First off, I live in Austin and come to get this coffee every chance I get. Best I've ever had! Second, BEST customer service. Every employee seems to love their job and wants to hear about your day and get to know you while your coffee is being prepared. I always bring my corgi puppy with me and he feels the love from the employees as well. They give him treats and are just great people! My pup and I will forever be coming here for an iced Hawaiian and a treat :) read more

My only complaint is that a medium Americano should have 3 shots of espresso. The company claims Pacific Northwest lineage, yet in the PNW, it's 3 shots to a medium. Otherwise, it's the cheapest I've found in town, and very smooth. read more

On the Grind Rocks, I've been a regular since they first opened, and have been loyal to them ever since then. Well this morning something happened that would make a normal person have a bad taste in their mouth , but I'm not leaving a bad review today, quite the opposite in fact ! Well when I ordered my drink today and Delaney handed me my drink the lid came off(not her fault) and Boom! coffee all over my pants, the drink was cold by the way, well Delaney instatley handed me a towel without any hesitation andher ans the other employees working the booth all apologized for the mess, I guess there having issues with new lids. Which I totally understand. Well she made me a new drink and gave me a free drink card for the inconvenience, which she definitely did not have to do. The customer service here is impeccable, every morning the employees here(it differs depending on the day) are always super nice and engaging while I wait in line, I definitely hope a high up manager/owner sees this and congratulates their perfect employees on what a wonderful job their doing! I will always be an On the Grind fan! I would give 10 stars if I could. Keep doing what yall are doing! read more

7/5/18 - 4oclock pm This is based off my experience just now. Some employee with braces gave me the worst experience I've ever had at on the grind. Now I come here bc I love the coffee and the employees are great. However this little twelve year old with braces could not seem to have any professionalism in her blood. Not too great. I loved it the first few times, but after a while I noticed how sloppy they were acting. They don't really use exact measurements, so it's rare that your drink ever tastes as it did the first time. I think, in my own opinion of course, that the first drink is what pulls you in and causes you to love it. But how can you continue to love that drink when it's almost never as it was before? I find that that is a big issue, and the next issue is how careless they are. They make big messes with their ingredients, which causes bees to come in and make the place more dingy. I found a bee in my drink! I let it go, and came back to tell them about my inconvenience, and they happily remade my drink. But, as I have said before, it didn't taste like the coffee I had gotten about 5 minutes before! Overall, I give it a 3 put of 5. Not really recommended, but go ahead. read more

Awesome little coffee shop that is drive-thru only. I found out afterwards that there are a few more OTGs, but it's still a great local business nonetheless. The menu is limited, but it has all you really need. If you need a serious kick, opt for the Big Tex (2 shots) or the 6 Shooter (6 shots). All of their drinks are available iced. I just wish they had more than one size in iced drinks. read more

the coffee is alright but the employees rude as hell everyone in that little box room look like they're part of a sorority at a&m and go on mission trips just to take pictures with impoverished children to post on instagram. never received so much attitude while ordering a medium iced caramelo with no whip before in MY LIFE! girl who took my order took my order spoke to me like i was at the bottom of the caste system. those beady blue eyes basically called me a racial slur i mean cmon the staff at this place is basically hitlers wet dream!! where is the diversity! i'm taking my money to jolt! read more

On Thursday, January 9,2025 around 5:00 or so I was driving by the On the Grind at this location and saw a young man looked to be about 16-17 years old working in the drive-through. It is about 39° out and raining. This young man had nothing on but a T-shirt. He appeared to be cold, but I don't know why he wasn't wearing something warmer and protection from the rain.. Why would a manager or supervisor allow this for the employee to become ill? Would like a reply read more

Great little coffee place that is a drive through. Not just a cup of joe, great service and a totally different experience. There are 3 locations and all very friendly. The coffee is quality and it's fun. I recommend you stop here instead of a mcdonalds drive through or panera. It's definitely local flair and i love stopping here when i'm in town. read more

Owner is a total d o u c h e. Drinks and service are good. Just know your money is going to a creepy womanizer. Gruene Coffee Haus and Kora Kora are the only two other places in town that make good coffee, chai teas, lattes AND macchiatos. The rest of the coffee shops only make good coffee at best. read more

The baristas at the register and who were making our coffee were very friendly. They gave us some solid recommendations, and I ended up going with their seasonal brown butter pumpkin latte. Their homemade syrup was full of buttery pumpkin flavor without being overly sweet at all, which I really liked. The coastal maple latte was a favorite as well.
