So glad we came here for our lunch after seeing the Niagara fall. The service was good and food was great!

My husband and I were very happy to find this place because we were craving bossam and did not want to make it at home. However, the food did not meet our expectations... The inside is very cute, but small. They only had one wait staff for all their tables so poor girl was running all over the place. I hope they add another wait staff. All the dishes were just okay, they all seem to be missing something. The kimchi jeon was decent but way too thick. The jjajangmyeon sauce was full of meat, but it had water pooling at the bottom of the bowl so the noodles hadn't been drained properly. The bossam...was the most disappointing of all. The meat was had no flavor at all and the stir-fried kimchi was missing something. The pork bone stew was probably the best dish out of everything we ordered. read more

If you're craving Korean food near Niagara Falls (Canadian side), Korean Garden might catch your eye. While the food isn't exactly authentic, it does have a familiar Korean-inspired taste. The interior is fine--nothing too fancy--but I didn't see any Koreans dining or working there, which felt a bit unusual for a Korean restaurant. The snacks and meals were overpriced for what they offered, and the flavors were just so-so--not bad, but not memorable either. If you're in the area and want a quick bite that somewhat resembles Korean cuisine, it might do the trick, but don't set your expectations too high. read more

Very overpriced Korean place in Niagara fall area. It's in the middle of nowhere feels like a family owned small place. I ordered pork bone hotpot there are 5 pieces of bone the pot looks big but really not much inside, a small portion of clear noodle. The flavor is good but not for this price, Also ordered bibimbap that's super tiny good for one person only. This is a bit of a hole in the wall type of place. Very unassuming. They had a fair amount of people constantly coming in and out. We started off with an order of seafood pancake. Wow, this was amazing. Large pieces of mixed seafood inside the savory pancake. The entire family loved it. The tofu stew was also very good - had a good amount of spice and lots of soft tofu. The pork bone stew is highly recommended. It's massive so plan on sharing with multiple people. It's brought out in a giant pan, with a burner under it. Full of veggies, clear noodles and a mountain of pork bones. The pork was soft and falling off the bones (I thoroughly enjoyed eating/picking the meat off the bones). Stew had lots of deep flavors (you'll want to order a side of steamed rice and/or ramen to eat with the delicious broth). read more

After a long drive and craving Korean food, my family and I decided to stop in Niagara Falls for something spicy. Korean Garden had slightly better reviews than the other Korean restaurant so we decided to go there. The place is a rip off. I wish I took pictures. We ordered the Kimchi Jongol which was 45 dollars. Didn't come with rice, which was extra...the whole pot could have been poured into a single serving hot pot. It was shallow with very little kimchi. It was mostly onions with a few pieces of pork. My kids wanted JAjamyeun...which was disgusting. Made with spaghetti noodles. Instant would have been better. Only had old pieces of dried fish cakes and some questionable kimchi. The whole meal was 85 dollars for nothing. This is not a great representation of Korean food. It was way too overly priced for what you get. read more

Love this quaint restaurant that looks like it's family owned. Very home visit feel I appreciated the tofu bibimbap option as opposed to the beef which gave it a unique twist and flavor. The kimchee was freshly made and I was able mix it with my dish. The service was excellent and the staff attentive.I wish they had more banchan/side dish options. They only had three and kimchee was one of them. Please stop by and try a new experience if you haven't had Korean food before and welcome home if you have. read more

I feel extremely lucky to have found this place during our trip to Niagara Falls Ca. It was our first time in the Canadian side and it was extremely difficult to find something to eat that wasn't a complete rip off. This place isn't in its usual touristy route, but guarantee it's worth the extra 5 min drive on our way back to our hotel. Looks can be deceiving. Upon first glance, you wouldn't have noticed this place with its simple building and a small open light sign. We decided to try it anyway. So glad we did. We had ordered the ramen, the beef bulgogi, the pork Katsu, the galbi, the pork belly and a plain egg fried rice. The portions were fair and filling!!! The prices seemed as high as everywhere you went near the Falls. I wasn't opposed to the sign stating they will add a 15% gratuity. It seems everywhere in Canada was an extra fee for everything, including walking. The place deserves it and especially our waitress. She was a nice lady, a bit flustered as she had to do multiply task at once. She handed us our water pitcher immediately as we sat down and off she went to run food to the table while bussing another shortly after. After we ordered, the food came out quick, steaming mouth watering hot. If you are a bit bourgeois, and expect 5 star kiss your butt hotel service, then this isn't the place for you. Too bad, as you'll be missing out on some delicious food. Something we didn't know at the time, but you pay up front and not at the table. The place is cozy and looks to be clean. The service was fine. I think she was the owner. I ordered two items to start. A-4 and N-3. A-3 is the rice cake in the red paste sauce. It was good enough. N-3 was not good. (Jjajang noodles). I have eaten this dish many time in many places and this dish was off. It didn't have the flavor I know and expect. It had a sour flavor and the noodle they used was crap. It looked like they opened a package of Raman noodles and used it. Cheap!! Not good!! Wrong!! I expect correct type of noodles when I pay nearly 20.00 for a bowl of noodles. I did not eat it and set it aside. I ordered a third item and told her I was not going to eat it. She had no concerns about why I didn't eat it. I didn't ask her to remove it from my check. The other big negative about this place is that they don't serve any side dishes. WTF!!! The side dishes that one enjoys is 50% of the Korean meal!! I understand that my noodle dish would not be served with sides. I also understand that my rice cake would not be served with sides but I ordered a third item (S-1) which came with rice, no sides were served. What!!!! S-1 was good. Btw, I am Korean and know how these dishes should taste. I would not visit this place again. No banchan, cheap ramen noodles. The kimchi stew is probably the most authentic one I've had in North America. The waitress is kind and caring and their menu has something for everyone! Their kimchi and side dishes are amazing, and as a native Korean I rate this place 10/10. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Every time I come , I usually get take out. Finally I was able to dine in and taste the food right out from the kitchen! I was craving the hot soup. We ordered the pork bone soup, the beef bulgogi added with ramen, dumplings and the galbi. Food has always been amazing here. Came here after visiting the Niagara Falls i ordered the spicy rice cake, pork bone soup and bulgogi soup. Spicy rice cakes were more on the soupier side than what I normally have, their pork bone soup was really good, the bulgogi soup was on the sweeter side it was my least favorite dish, other than that everything esle was good. The service however was really slow I think we waited over 30 mins for our food to be served and there was only one other table that was already dinning. A great place to visit that is away from the noise and stress of Clifton Hill (but still less than a 5 minute drive from the main area). Tried their rice cakes, pork bone soup, dumplings and spicy bulgogi and they were all yummy (especially for a restaurant not in a predominantly Korean area). One of the dishes we ordered, the soft tofu stew, was spoiled, the rice and vegetables on the pork cutlet plate were completely dried out, and the rice that came with the stew was old, hard, and cold. I was unhappy, but I didn't want to ruin the time with my family, so I decided to let it go and just get new food instead of complaining about the spoiled dish and the hard, dried-out rice. For anybody who loves authentic Korean food be prepared to be WAY overcharged and met with utter shock for the actual portion size provided. Sure, the ambiance was alright with its greenery and lights but the food did no justice... NONE of us left with a satisfied hunger afterwards. I can't say for their smaller dishes and classics but I would most definitely stay away from their Boiled Pork Wraps (Bossam). Lack of flavor or amount of meat. Literally came with 5 thin slices of tofu given the price point of over $30... Same thing with the Budae jjigae. Barely any actual meat/ content inside. Be prepared to purchase your own additional SMALL side of rice for $4 each/ per person. Should be ashamed. Unless you get their smaller items, STAY AWAY. read more

I will rate 2/5 for their taste - okay, but not tasty. The price is not cheat considering the size of their dishes. Their service is awful - they left me there for 5 minutes and nobody gave us a menu, asked anything, or told us anything until we asked for the menu ourselves. We asked for water, but they never gave us any cup of water. There is a fly living right next to our table, and there is a spider (with its web) right on the window next to our table. When we are asking for bill, they gave us a bill that has duplicated charges. When we are ready to pay (put the credit card on the bill), nobody cared about us for more than 10 minutes until we walked to the cashier ourselves. And they required us 15% tip, which I think they did not worth at all. Bad place. Do not be there! read more

We are looking for non-fast food type of restaurants in the region after having pizza, pasta and steak for consecutive meals. We come up with this Korean restaurant. This looks like a home restaurant to us. The inner decoration gives a feeling of Xmas small town. The television is looping kpop music video with low volume. Ordered tteokboki (spicy rice cake), oden udon (fishcake udon), samgyoepsal (pork belly), and naengmyeon (cold broth noodle). I am not a sommelier or anything but I can tell what's good and what's not when it comes to the food from my own cultural background. Tteokboki was surprisingly good - is this gochujang tteokboki? If it is, props to the chef, because it is not easy to maintain good taste while making the sauce not pasty. Rice cake was done just well so it maintained chewiness throughout - a less skilled cook would make the outer layer soggy or the core layer dense. The pork belly was also done right. Slices were thick but somehow they managed to keep the degree of cooking consistent throughout the thickness. Go home and try making it yourself - you try to cook the inside of the pork, you end up either burning the outer layer or end up losing the juice and shrinking the size of the pieces by overcooking. If you undercook, you maintain the outer layer clean however you end up having some nasty chewing experience. I don't think talking about udon as the container broke open mid-transit :/ I won't let this bad experience influence my review as this is something for me to address with the courier. I managed to taste the whatever the scrap left over in the bowl, it tasted okay. Naengmyeon was ok as well, tasted just as expected. read more

I was hoping for better but this is a tourist trap. The food is ok. Banchan is sad, just kimchi, fish cakes and raw seaweed with gochujang. Entrees are priced higher than other comparable restaurants. But they also add a mandatory gratuity of 15%. You pay at the front and they don't show you the bill. Then they add on another "service charge" on top of the tax and tip. I can't recommend this restaurant. read more
