After dropping him off for his first day, they called me about 2 HOURS later saying he can not return and this is not going to work. I asked why, they said he was "loud" and mouthing toys. I went to pick him up immediately afterwards. I don't want him in a place that doesn't want him. After requesting for a full refund, they gave me the run-a-round and made a threat to call the cops. They are not inclusive. They didn't even want to give my son a full day/week to adjust him to a new environment. The kids are like zombies. Unable to be kids. Not a friendly place. Rude Ladies. Un-Trustworthy.

Breakfast is $1 a day if you need it (which when we're running late is great). They take government daycare assistance. For full-time 5 days a week care it runs around $130/week. The front play area is spacious. The back classroom area is set up like a school room. The outside area is kinda small though, which is kinda a downside I guess, but they do what they can with their limited outdoor space. They only take cash or check though, no credit cards. Not the end of the world though. I really like this place and even when my daughter goes off to kindergarten this fall, will most likely continue to use them for before school care.

Each child was extremely well-prepared for Kindergarten, in fact, our grade school often comments on how happy they are to enroll "Hopemark Kids" because they are well behaved, have excellent skill sets, and are well socialized. It's a family first school... lots of family interactions there, friendships made, after-school time on the playground to further develop parenting bonds. I can't say enough! They do tend to fill their classes each year and have strict teacher-student ratios (which is a good thing!) so register early if you are considering going there. However I heard this year due to lots of interest and classes filling quickly that they might have opened up a larger afternoon program? Not sure, but definitely worth checking out.

My daughter began attending in Sept 2007 in the 4's room. It was her first preschool experience,…read moreso I was nervous. She was not potty trained at the time, and other preschools were negative about that. However, the teacher at Hope commented that my daughter wasn't the first to come to her room still wearing pull-ups, and she would work with her on it. When I took my daughter to visit the school, the teacher engaged her and brought her into the group activity. My daughter didnt want to leave! She is now in the Pre-K room and has learned many skills that have made her more than ready for Kindergarten. She is much more confident and outgoing and enjoys learning and going to school. My son was born in June 2008 and started going to the baby room in late August 2008 when he was 8 weeks old. I have been very happy with the care he receives while at Hope. He has the same 2 teachers every day, and has developed appropriate bonds with them. He easily seperates from me when I drop him off, and enjoys playing with the other babies. The director (Debbie) and other office staff are involved with the students and go into each classroom at various times during the day. They know what is going on in each classroom and work with the children and staff to make sure the day runs smoothly for everyone.

There have been several other small issues we've had that we let go of. However, the final straw is when Kathy blew up on my husband on a phone call that was discussing our schedule. She was very irate with my husband which ultimately led to my husband hanging up on her and us pulling our son from her daycare. She then blocked me from viewing any of her daycare pages on Facebook. This must be a common thing she does when she pisses parents off, so they don't leave true reviews. I have heard from multiple other people that she flies off the handle.
