Kudos for Sonia for a really good sales pitch but in the end it felt like a giant scam. Other than the B-12 shots, they recommend a 1 week "detox" diet to start which if you stick to this diet religiously you will lose weight. The challenge is that you cannot stick to this diet forever and every week that I came and saw continued weight gain, Sonia just gave me a B-12 shot and told me to do the detox diet again for another week. This went on for months. In addition, apparently Sonia is the only one who could administer the B-12 shots and since they don't utilize appointments, there were a number of times I showed up after driving almost an hour to be told that Sonia wasn't there so I couldn't get the shot. That meant I got turned away because there wasn't anything else they did at a visit besides that. The other thing that bummed me out about this place is that they do not seem to care about their patients once they successfully get their money. There were numerous time where my schedule resulted in me not being able to go to the center for weeks -- there wasn't so much as a call or text to check in and see how I was doing or whether I was planning to come in. It took them 4 months to call after I had found another practice and hit my weight loss goals. By the way that practice is Dr. G's Weightloss Center in Brickell -- I HIGHLY recommend them over this sham of a place. Do not waste your money -- you have been warned.
