Literally the best facial and massage Of My Life. I struggle tremendously with TMJ and have been super interested in buccal massage which unfortunately isn't offered here in Las Vegas. So for my birthday I took the short trip to Kosha and wasn't disappointed. Olga did my facial and at one my point I had tears in my eyes because she literally found the tender point that I can't ever get to myself in my jaw muscle. There was so much tension released. She did a phenomenal job. I then got a massage by Max who is undoubtedly a true healer. He worked tirelessly on my rounded shoulders and I swear I haven't breathed or felt this open in years! The massage was both relaxing and transformative. Max also noticed something with my ankles that only my Pilates / professional dance instructor has noticed before. I curve my feet in slightly which unbeknownst to me is the actual source of a lot of my hip pain. I was so impressed that he had noticed and addressed this. Max has a detailed eye and absolute intuitive touch. Thank you both for helping me so much. The rest of the staff could not have been more kind or welcoming either and the spa itself is stunning. Always on time, very professional, kind, sweet and i can feel that she cares about my skin. She never stops surprising me with new masks and treatments. I appreciate that she customizes each visit and tailors it to my current skin's condition. She does amazing lifting and buccal massage that you won't find anywhere else. So this was my first official facial ever, I had been wanting to get one but had put it off for a while since I wasn't sure where to start. My skin is pretty sensitive and I was afraid of doing more damage than good. I was nervous but the minute I walked in, it was like walking into a zen garden, my tension kind of just melted away. The environment is so calming, a nice shift after a long day at work. Anastasia was perfect. She was super sweet and had a very calming presence about her. I explained my areas of concern and that I was a newbie to this experience and she made me feel so comfortable. I received my first buccal massage by Olga and it was the best experience. For someone that practices gua sha and facial reflexology daily, the buccal massage is defitinetly at another level and very much needed. I didn't realize how tense my jaw was or that those areas could even get massaged until Olga massaged them. The buccal massage part is not a complete soothing experience but it is also not painful. I could tell Olga is very experienced and kept checking with me to make sure I was ok with the massage. It feels good as the tension is being released. I could tell a big difference in my face and it is something I do not see just from regular self-massage or using a gua sha at home. Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful experience. Haven't used my yelp in ages, but I'm so satisfied with how my service went, that I just want to help out and spread the word. First of all, the location is very convenient - just by the freeway, free parking, first floor. Place is so clean, bright and looks brand new! They have a cute lobby area and a few treatment rooms. I had buccal massage which is the one that sculpts lower part of the face and they go with the gloves inside your mouth. That felt oddly relaxing and very satisfying- like the knots in your TMJ area are getting looser. And the rest of the treatment was sculpting facial massage. Plus esthetician worked on my neck and shoulder area and even the head. I felt that every muscle on my face had been worked on, and they also used very nice products - spa smelling oils and serums, hot towels, etc. The result - I look younger, skin is glowing and my mood is much more balanced. This isn't a typical kind of facial, it's pretty much just massage the whole time. BUT I still like it. Pros: *They use a lot of different massage techniques, so it's not monotonous. I love the buccal massage, especially if you have a tense jaw. It kinda hurts during but afterwards, you feel great. *Very holistic vibe. *Beautiful space. *Given how much they care about healing, their products are all pretty clean and non toxic. *Everyone is always really nice. *They have snacks and tea in the lobby. *I've never had to wait for my appointments, they are pretty much always on schedule. *They don't push or upsell products. *They do a little sound bath-y bit, which is always soothing. *They have a great IG account that teaches at-home techniques and is super informative. Cons: *Like I said, unless you add a mask or LED, it's just massage. Even the 80 min doesn't have a mask, which kinda stinks. Definitely no extractions or anything that a typical facial offers. *When I did add a mask on, my esthetician was washing her tools so it wasn't the most soothing vibe at that moment. And then she left the room for about 10 min. If they really wanted to make it outstanding, they'd do some light hand/arm/shoulder/neck (even feet maybe) massage during the masking time. *Parking at the new location isn't great, it's just metered street parking. *There's no sign on the outside building so if you don't know where you're looking, it's easy to miss. Just look inside the window and you'll see the sign on the wall inside. *The doors are just sliding glass, so you can really hear everything going on outside of your room. *You will leave with crazy oily hair lol, during the massage, it gets all in your hair so don't wash before. I'll definitely continue coming here, but I'll go to a different spa as well for more specific/results oriented facials. read more

My experience with Kosha Spa was less than satisfactory. It was one of the worst facials I have ever had. I had been wanting to try this spa for awhile and was super excited to book a facial. I booked a clarifying facial because I struggle with acne and was feeling pretty bad about my skin upon booking the appointment. This was a huge mistake. Clearly the spa is not well versed in acne facials. The description of the facial said that a deep cleanse would be done along with a peel, extractions, LED and purifying mask. In the website's description of the facial it directly states that "the result is - skin is smooth, radiant and spotless." This could not be more opposite than the treatment I received. Obviously I understand that one facial is not going to fix all my skin issues nor would I ever expect it to. However I did not see any improvement in my skin whatsoever. It DEFINITELY did not look radiant. In fact it looked much worse. The initial "deep cleanse" lasted for 2 minutes tops. There was no double cleanse or anything like that. The "peel" was no more than an enzyme mask and it was insulting that they called that a "peel". I love peels and even though this was described as a gentle peel I thought it would at least be stronger than something that I literally own at my house. As for the extractions, in the moment they were fine but within a few days after the facial, my skin was covered in new acne. The acne was in the spots where extractions were done. The purifying mask and LED were fine but the esthetician left the room for an extended period of time during the purifying mask. It would of been nice to have received a hand massage or some sort of touch therapy during this time. I know that the face cannot be massaged when acne is present but I felt that there could have been more massage included on my hands or neck and décolletage. Once the mask was removed, the esthetician just put salicylic acid on my face and soothing gel. She didn't put any moisturizer or SPF on me which is hugely irresponsible especially considering a chemical exfoliation was done and it was the middle of the day. I left the spa bone dry. When I emailed the spa politely telling them about my disappointment they very much dismissed my concerns and stated that "this facial isn't oriented toward hydration". Obviously I understood that I was booking a clarifying facial, but there is no reason that they shouldn't have used some sort of hydrating or moisturizing product to replenish my skin after using drying products. In fact dryness can actually cause acne because your skin has to overcompensate with oil production to make up for the dryness. And the no spf thing was just crazy to me. I am studying to become and esthetician myself and I work as a skincare advisor. I paid $179 plus tip for this facial which is hugely overpriced for the poor service that I received. For this price I have received wonderful facials that have made visible and lasting improvements. The customer service was awful as well. I didn't feel seen or heard at all when I expressed my concerns. I asked if the situation could be rectified because of how unsatisfactory the service was and I was simply dismissed with excuses from the spa owner. I wrote back to respond to the spa to reiterate my frustration because I would much rather deal with something like this internally than publicly on the internet. However I have not heard back and it has been many days. I think I deserve my money back, but am not expecting anything from the spa to make this right. I do not recommend this spa whatsoever considering the entirety of my experience was awful. The poor customer service was the last straw. I am still recovering from the service and have had to do a lot of home remedies to fix my face. To respond to your message: It was not just left over acne. It was a full on new breakout with pimples forming in the exact spots where extractions were done. I never explicitly asked for a refund in my email to you. I asked if the situation could be rectified in some way. That could have taken form in a lot of ways other than a refund. I have a big problem with you stating that the esthetician made a visible improvement in my skin. Literally I am telling you my skin did not visibly improve in any way. Who are you to say that she made visible improvements in my skin? You were not the esthetician and have never even seen my skin. Do not make assumptions about things that you have no idea about and basically call me a liar. I have no reason to lie. There was also no consultation for at home care and no SPF was used. Again, you were not the esthetician so you are just making baseless claims. You also blocked me on instagram for literally no reason which says a lot. I never went on your instagram trying to bash you or anything. Your response really reflects how poor your customer service skills are and how disrespectful you are. read more

Setting an appointment was so easy - online right at their website, no hassles. I wasn't sure which facial treatment was right for me, so I just let Anastasia decide based on my skin condition and off she went working her magic. I expected the extractions from reading the reviews, but it was done very gently and not too painful. My complexion after seeing Anastasia for the first time had improved dramatically- it was smoother, brighter, and free those ugly breakouts. My esthetician used some essential oils so we did breathing exercises before we start and all through the process. Amazing but it helped me to relax like I am out of town for weekend. Lavender and vanilla and something else sourish sweet in combination with a deep massage - so so so relaxing!!!! We did buccal massage which helps to lift the skin and to relief tension. I really enjoyed my visit to Kosha. My therapist was Polina and she was amazing! So caring, warm and professional. She knew exactly the pressure that I liked and was able to find all my "sweet spots" and I felt major tension relief after a session! I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say about my experience at Kosha Spa. The place is so beautiful, modern and relaxing, I could hardly bring myself to leave! I had the All Inclusive Facial with an esthetician Anastasia. In the very beginning, I was inhaling and exhaling a wonderful relaxing blend of aroma oils. I loved that she lightly massaged my shoulders and a scalp before starting cleansing. It was super relaxing and put me in the right mood right away... Anastasia mentioned that being tensed you won't get all the benefits of the treatment that's why she focuses a lot on relaxation. I've got tons of facial massage, I felt like all the muscles are being lifted and toned. While I had my mask on, Anastasia did a foot massage, whereas some other estheticians that I visited just left the room for this time. I saw the result of our treatment immediately. I believe she used microdermabrasion, ultrasonic tool, chemical peel, and an oxygen infusion. Oh and also an amazing LED panel that they use to heal astronauts hah. And we finished with aromatherapy again, this time the scent was energizing and felt just right to wake up and continue with my day. I enjoyed my treatment a lot. Not only was the facial itself super relaxing and cleansing but I've never had an esthetician take this much time asking questions to try to help me get to the bottom of my skin issues. I had my first facial with Anastasia! It was a great experience, very relaxing. I loved the decoration of the spa, very modern with nature feeling, very clean too. I don't remember all the step but it felt SO good! My skin feels even more smoother than my 8 month old baby haha! After my waxing place went out of business, I searched Instagram and found this place. Made and appointment via their website, and the whole process was fast and easy. I'm not normally a spa guy. But for some reason, I felt very comfortable at Kosha. So for my second visit I also booked a men's facial, which was great. Anastasia has a very soothing and relaxing demeanor and she customizes the treatment to meet your needs. The experience is really that of a 5 star hotel spa. Very clean, they use everything disposable and don't double-dip. In the end of a waxing procedure Anastasia put a special antibacterial lotion and a serum against ingrowns. And during the facial she used different machines and products to regulate oiliness and occasional blackheads on my face. One of my favorite new finds of 2020 - I discovered Anastasia on Instagram, only to find she has a delightful (clean, well stocked and well staffed!) spa/storefront in Studio City/North Hollywood. I've gone to see Julia multiple times in the last year. This spa and their offerings are truly incredible. The Buccal massage is one of the best treatments I have ever gotten (and I am a sophisticated body/face work aficionado!). The relief in jaw muscle tension I felt from after just one treatment was extraordinary. i've also purchased many items from the store - guashas, face cupping devices and the custom Kosha oil. All products are mindfully created and curated. The staff is warm, kind and knowledgeable. In terms of Covid - i've never felt less at risk than when i'm at the spa. it's incredibly sanitary and i've always been the only client in at the time of my appointment.
