Kosha Spa was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Kate gave me a buccal facial massage, and it was absolutely incredible--so relaxing and rejuvenating. Every part of the treatment, from my back and neck to my face, was worth it 100%. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend this place. There's no private parking lot, but street parking or parking in the alley behind the building is available.

The worst customer experience & service. I booked a service for my sister and I last night for 2 people/ 2 different services and when my confirmation came through, I noticed there was a mistake as the same person was listed as our aesthetician for both of our services. As soon as the spa opened this morning I explained the situation and they said that they weren't able to accommodate us being seen at the same time. Unfortunately we already had plans for the afternoon and so I asked for them to cancel our reservation without penalty as it didn't say anything on the website when I booked about it being back to back services and not at the same time. They refused to be accommodating and noted that I would need to pay the cancellation fee as it was already within the cancellation policy. Didn't offer to switch to a different day, or put it on a gift card. Nothing and she also said "well you booked online and not through us directly" so basically we can't help you even though it was THEIR website. I absolutely do not recommend this place and am despised by the lack of help they offered. I even asked to speak to a manager and never received a call or notice, just my cancellation charge. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Screenshots of my unclear booking are attached.

I would love to share my experience from my first visit to Kosha Spa. From the very first step inside, I felt an incredibly cozy and calming atmosphere -- the space immediately puts you at ease. I had a facial massage, and it was truly exceptional. I left feeling completely relaxed, yet at the same time noticed a beautifully visible lifting effect. At the end of the treatment, I was served a delicious herbal tea, which was the perfect finishing touch. I highly recommend this place and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. 10/10

Found out about this place from a friend and I met her here for a massage date. Love the overall vibe. The interior decoration is done well- neutral and simple. Love how the rooms have the moon child type lights. I'm a plus size woman and I felt very comfortable and the space was accessible for me. Julie- Buccal Massage My first buccal massage, it was so interesting. It was also incredibly painful when she first started. I almost tapped out but so glad I stuck with it. Christina- Body Massage Gave a strong and relaxing massage. She chef I bro ask for pressure and made adjustments as necessary Both ladies were warm and welcoming. They both described what they would do. They would ask questions and check in. Will be back!

We loved our visit to kosha! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning--stylish interior, cozy ambiance, and a true escape from the hustle of the city. All practitioners have healing hands, I've tried maybe 4 of them and loved each. You can tell that they are truly doing what they are good at. The buccal massage is pure magic! I never knew facial muscles could relax so deeply, and the results are instantly visible--lifted, refreshed, and light. And the scalp massage? The second best part! Every visit feels like a much needed recharge. I can't recommend this place enough!

I couldn't recommend Kosha more. The way the stress melts out is indescribable. I never realize how much I'm holding onto in my face muscles until I come here for buccal. The before and after says it all :')

Allergic reaction to the skin products they use

I have mixed feelings about this place. First of all, I was a bit surprised that no one answered the phone or replied to my text messages when I had questions before booking. I ended up just booking my Glow and Lift facial online, which was fine, but it felt a bit impersonal. My experience with Kristina was fantastic! She was great, and I absolutely loved the buccal massage! everyone should give it a shot! After the treatment, my face felt lifted and I felt really relaxed and happy overall, I even sent few messages to my friends so they try it as well. On the way home, my face started feeling weird and uncomfortable from the products they used, and I couldn't wait to wash it all off. Unfortunately, I ended up having an allergic reaction, which was not fun. Certain spots on my mid-face and under eyes started burning, and I wouldn't say my skin is particularly sensitive. As for now, my face is irritated and skin looks bad, I did not have these red spots before. There is absolutely nothing "glowing" it looks ugly and feels horrible. Also, the red light therapy that was supposed to be part of the facial couldn't be used because they didn't have any eye protection available. The light was way too strong for my eyes. Personally, I'm not a huge believer in red light therapy doing much if it's only used once, but for anyone who was looking forward to it, this could be a real bummer. It would be nice if they had eye protective glasses or could offer some alternatives for those with sensitive eyes.

It was my first time trying a buccal face massage and I really loved the whole experience. Kosha is a small spa off Ventura and I love the simple and aesthetic interior. The rooms inside smell great. I booked Kristina and she was wonderful! She explained the whole process to me and made me feel relaxed. She had a firm yet caring hand. It starts off with a neck and chest massage, then they clean your face and do some lymphatic drainage. The buccal portion where she holds inside your mouth was quite interesting and definitely loosened up my jaw (I suffer from clenching/grinding teeth at night). It didn't hurt but I could definitely feel the tension being worked out! It was one of the best facial experiences I've had and highly recommend trying it out.

I came here yesterday to treat myself on my birthday, I got the myofascial treatment with Tatiana, and it was so incredible that I literally cried haha -- the relief from the tension in my neck, jaw, scalp and even chest was MIND BLOWING! I FaceTimed one of my girlfriends after and she immediately gasped and said I looked five years younger. I feel five years younger lol, lighter, and I will definitely come back to try the buccal! Loved Tatiana so much, she was like an angel... and the vibe of the place is immaculate! It's clear they put thought into EVERY detail... scent, music, decor, etc do yourself a favor a book immediately! read more

I guess I took the win ticket when I found Kosha Spa. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a guest, not a customer. I was here 3 years ago when I was traveling. But now I am living in LA and I so glad I have a chance to visit this place weekly. I've felt the tension release from my face, neck, and shoulders after just a 10-minute. Poor quality, poor customer service. I had to reach out to my bank for the refund owed by this merchant. Fortunately, my bank reviewed all the supporting documentation I submitted and eventually permanently credited my account for the entire purchase transaction, not only the refund due. While it took a few months to resolve this through my bank - since the merchant was uncooperative - it was definitely worth the effort! Now, even my bank is aware of what really transpired, and I am thankful to my bank for doing the right thing. All's well that ends well, and BUYERS BEWARE :) read more

Wonderful experience Since I walked into the salon I felt well taken care of. I was 10 minutes early (was thinking it would be hard to find a parking spot but they actually have free parking right on the plaza), so I was offered a cup of tea while watching TV and reading one of their books I had an anti aging facial and my favorite part was the blast of oxygen. I've never had that before and based on my experience it was one of the best facials that I have ever had. Hyaluronic acid was pushed into my skin and combined with oxygen it gave me amazing sensation. It left my skin very hydrated and smooth. Anastasia who was my esthetician really did an amazing job. Her massage was fantastic, smell of lavender, hot and cold stones, I was totally relaxed. She definitely left me with the desire to come back again read more

I truly enjoyed my experience at Kosha. I am getting occasional breakouts and doing acne facials help to keep my skin clear. Really nice space, there is artificial grass on the floor, candles, bamboo and trendy lounge music. I do like the vibe of it. My esthetician was very caring, knowledgeable and professional. She spent 1.5 hours with me and I feel like it's a good timeframe because when they spend 50 minutes it's not enough time for the extractions. In the end she gave me some samples and a free face mask. Parking was easy too. 5 stars! read more

I booked the gentleman's facial on their website, which was super easy. I didn't have to wait - they were ready the minute I walked in the door and immediately put me in a treatment room that was cozy, stylish and relaxing. Great calm lighting and music, smell of lavender and a salt lamp. Detail ! Nice ! Usually, I have to tell the specialist what I need, but this time everything was perfect. I've got all my pores cleaned, excellent massage, anti acne electrical probe and a soothing mask. I really just need extractions and some extra hydration, it's not that complicated, but it's hard to find a good esthetician that is not going to sell me tons of products and will just do the magic. This was the case. My face was so soft to touch and looked like million bucks!!! If you want some Zen in a middle of Studio City/Toluca Lake, this is your place. I'll be back. read more

I came in with high expectations, and Kosha spa met them! Holly was my esthetician and she did such a wonderful job. She was gentle yet firm and really took care of me and my skin. The best facial I've never had. Olga was so sweet and gentle. I was so relaxed, the whole place feels super healing the minute you walk in. She also helped me with figuring out my skin type and how to get it back in a good place. We reviewed the products I currently use and which ones of those were helping or making things worse. I have been a client of kosha for several years. Thanks to this place I stopped ingesting toxins into my face and discovered the world of holistic treatments! If you are getting regular manicures and haircuts but not facial massage, you gotta try this place! Not only it feels good and so beneficial for my overall emotional state but it also keeps my wrinkles at bay. I booked a Holistic Facial with Anna and it was the most incredible experience! She has magical hands and had great intuition and just knew what I needed as she could tell that I worked from a desk for many hours in the day as my back had a lot of tension. She was very attentive and kind. I added the scalp massage and that was a great add on.The facial cupping and gua sha left my skin glowing! Highly recommend this place! read more

If heaven on earth existed it would be Kosha Spa. I saw Kristen Bell post about it and looking at the webpage shows that several stars go there. I wanted to treat myself and I was worried I would feel out of place there or it would be too elite of a business to feel comfortable. My worries were completely unfounded. This spa is so calm and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. It's a beautiful space and I look forward to going every time I get the chance to go there. Polina is absolutely the best! I had an amazing experience at Kosha both my first and second time. Olga is a magician and has helped my neck and jaw tension so much. I battle inflammation and she manages to make a huge difference in such a short session. I get regular facials for my skin but this experience was an above and beyond holistic experience. I wish I could come weekly but will be back as often as I can permit! read more

Several days ago I placed an online order for a few of their products from their website. I immediately received an email confirmation stating they received my order, and that they are processing it. The email also stated I would receive another email once my order has been shipped. It's been 5 days. I have not received any confirmation email about my order being shipped, I have called their number and left a voice message asking about my order and requesting a call back, but no one has called me back. They took my money for the order as soon as I placed it, but after almost a week, they can't send me an email letting me know that my order has been shipped, and they can't answer their phone or call me back. Is this all a scam? Has anyone else experienced the same thing after ordering products from them online? read more

I do not recommend. Overly priced for a regular facial. For it to not to waste your money I say go all out with their 115 minutes because it is relaxing. But only once in a while. Their staff are all lovely, however they do kinda go to the beat of their own drum. If you have the money I say go for it. For those who don't have a disposable income I say go to heyday in Beverly hill. Although not as relaxing, they get the job done. read more

Absolutely divine. This place is a real treat. The ambiance is beautiful with the sound bowls and soothing lights, plus everything looked really clean. I booked the Holistic Facial with Anna and I loved how my skin felt after. It felt tight and lifted, and the dark circles under my eyes looked so much better. I felt like it changed the shape of my face - in a good way! I also carry a lot of tension in my jaw, neck, and head so all the extra massaging felt so good. The meditation journey at the start of the treatment was also a really nice touch. I felt so relaxed! The treatments are pricey but I plan to be back soon! read more

The place and my facial was great but I ended up experiencing an allergic reaction from one of the products and broke out in hives. I kept trying to contact them to ask for a list of what they used so I could avoid whatever bothered my skin but they never answered me. I texted, called, left voicemails etc. No one will answer or help me and my face is still recovering from the hives. Really bad service. If the business sees this please answer me. read more

I visited Kosha Spa after discovering them on instagram. I love to try new spas and wellness spots all over LA. I suffer from headaches and tmj which only worsened during covid. My initial appointment was for a buccal facial - very relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised by how great my skin and jawline looked after just one massage. For my second visit, I booked the custom treatment - and tried cupping and gua sha along with the buccal massage. Olga has the most gentle hands I fell asleep during the facial. My skin completely transformed after a hydrafacial with Anastasia. I found her on Instagram , and I'm so glad that I did. We started with aromatherapy inhalations, there were candles everywhere, nice music, the bed was heated for me, i mean... the whole vibe of the place is fantastic. I've been seeing Anastasia for facials for the last 3 years. She completely changed my skin for the better. But it's not just a facial, it's truly a spa experience. From the start you'll feel super relaxed from the heated bed and chill music. Esthetician has an amazing touch and you'll instantly trust her with your skin. Better than I expected. The two ladies I met there during my visit were extremely kind and welcoming and the atmosphere in the spa was just the vibe I needed. I had the Lift & Sculpt massage to help with some swelling/inflammation I've been experiencing in my cheeks, jaw, and neck from working a stressful desk job and neglecting my body diet wise the last few weeks. Fantastic. The best esthetician / skin therapist in Los Angeles! Such a relaxing experience and a facial like I have never had before. There were at least 10 different steps in my treatment, each one of which Anastasia explained to me. Deep cleansing, microdermabrasion, massage, extractions, amazing peel-off mask, aromatherapy and so much more. My skin is so soft and I smile every time I touch my face! Tried a Buccal massage with Olga and it was so relaxing! Really helps release the tension of the TMJ pain that I'm experiencing. Couldn't find any place that specialize in this type of massage except this spa. Super cute atmosphere as well. Highly recommended! read more

Kosha Spa is one of the rare places who does inner facials, called Buccal facial. If you have TMJ or just strong facial features and clinches a lot - this is your place! So inviting, so clean, so expert in what they do. I've been getting facials since I was 15 from acne so I've done my research on spas. Great pricing and excellent service. I had an amazing facial at Kosha Spa. One of those times when you don't want your treatment to end. Cute and beautifully set up both the office and the treatment room. Sweet and knowledgable skincare professional - Anastasia (she is also an owner of the salon). The face massage she does is so gentle but thorough at the same time, it has lifting effect and you'll be pleased with the results. I come to this spa specifically for the Buccal Massage, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else in LA. I suffer from TMJ and this kind of massage really helps calm my jaw muscles. Julia has been my aesthetician for both my appointments and she is an angel! She has a beautiful, calm energy and does some amazing things with her hands that feel so good on my tired jaw and face muscles. The spa has cute, comfortable feeling decor and is very clean. Anastasia had experience working in one of the best spas in Los Angeles and Europe, but she felt that she is capable of something bigger. We were there to celebrate my birthday with two of my best friends and were looking forward to a relaxing girls' spa day. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was uncomfortable and disappointing. I want to clarify an important point: we were not late. We arrived approximately 15-20 minutes before our scheduled check-in time. Despite this, the blonde employee assisting me repeatedly told us that we were running late. When we arrived, a friendly brunette was assisting my daughter while the blonde employee checked me in. I provided my name, explained that we were there to celebrate my birthday, and gave the name of my best friend under whose reservation we were booked. After locating our reservation, the blonde employee stated that we were running behind schedule because we were late. I was surprised by this because we had arrived early. I was prepared to complete the check-in process promptly, but the repeated comments about being late immediately made the interaction uncomfortable. She requested my driver's license and then explained that a credit card was required on file. I explained that I wanted the charges placed on my card rather than my daughter's. After I handed over my credit card, she again stated, "Okay, you are running behind schedule. I need to finish your check-in." After processing my card, she placed it on the counter and slid it toward me rather than handing it back directly. She then asked me to sign a consent form on a digital screen. Because the print was very small and difficult to read, I politely asked if it could be enlarged. She sighed and told me she had a paper copy. She retrieved it from underneath the register and slid it toward me, again reiterating that we were behind schedule because we were late. She then told me that, because it was my birthday, I would receive an add-on. I asked what the options were because I wanted to understand what was being offered. She quickly went through them, but I was still unclear and asked for clarification. I felt that her demeanor indicated frustration with my questions. She ultimately told me that my masseuse could explain the options and that she would take me to the locker area. The contrast between the two employees was very noticeable. The brunette assisting my daughter was warm and welcoming. She wished me a happy birthday and told us to enjoy our spa day. Unfortunately, that welcoming attitude was not reflected in my interaction with the other employee. Before we reached the locker area, my two best friends saw us and came over to greet me and wish me a happy birthday. The blonde employee abruptly stated, "We don't have time for this. You are already running late. We need to get you into the locker room area." I found this especially upsetting because we were not late--we had arrived 15-20 minutes early. I was simply being greeted by the two friends with whom I had planned my birthday celebration. If there was a scheduling issue or discrepancy in the system, it should have been explained to us professionally rather than repeatedly telling us we were late. By the time we reached the locker area, what should have been an exciting and relaxing start to my birthday celebration had instead become stressful and uncomfortable. My daughter also noticed the employee's demeanor and independently expressed that she felt uncomfortable with the interaction. I am bringing this to management's attention because I believe this interaction warrants review. Repeatedly telling guests they are late when they have actually arrived early is inaccurate and unnecessarily creates a negative experience. I understand that Burke Williams has schedules to maintain, but scheduling concerns should be communicated with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism. I chose Burke Williams expecting a premium spa experience. Guests should feel welcomed and respected from the moment they arrive, particularly when celebrating a special occasion. I respectfully ask management to review what occurred, including the discrepancy regarding our arrival time, and address the customer-service concerns described above. I would also appreciate a response explaining why we were repeatedly told that we were late when we had arrived approximately 15-20 minutes before our scheduled check-in time. I sincerely hope Burke Williams takes this feedback seriously and ensures that no other guest has a similar experience.

This winter I visited my friend from Los Angeles and of course my skin didn't like all the traveling, dining out and temperature changes. I asked my friend if she goes to an esthetician and she recommend Anastasia from Kosha Spa. Luckily, it wasn't far from my hotel and I booked an appointment within a minute - right on their website. So convenient. I liked the place right away - the reception area so cozy, modern and pretty. Lots of crystals, books, tea, plants, lovely decor and it smelled like it should be in the spa. I was greeted by Anastasia, asked couple of questions and we began our beauty journey. It was so relaxing! I wish it never ended. I loved the massage, essential oils, all the fancy gadgets she used... Besides, I enjoyed our conversation and Ana gave me some skincare tips and suggestions. I could almost feel that she was truly caring about my skin and loving every inch of it :) my skin was looking it's best after the treatment and all the dryness and uneven texture disappeared. I think that every girl/women should look beautiful and take care of herself. And Anastasia helps a lot!!! Too bad I don't live in LA. I love this little spa. Clean, beautiful, with free parking, and trust me they have the best esthetician and eyelash extensions artist! There are always some fruits, sweets, herbal teas and other treats. Very relaxing ambiance. I have been seeing Anastasia for monthly facials for about a year now. I have oily skin and after her treatments I never break out. We usually switch it up - peels, hydrafacial, acne facial, ultrasonic, oxygen. As I am a regular client, she sometimes gives me add ons for free (thank you!). And I love the skincare line that she uses - Le Mieux. I have never had a better skin in my life. This is my go-to place for any beauty needs. I love facials with Anastasia, she is the absolute best esthetician I've been to. Every facial with her is better than the one before. Her touch is soft, her products are phenomenal and the ambience is so relaxing. It's a great space that's clean and modern, the services range from very affordable to more high end (but every one of them is unique and totally worth it), and the aestheticians are all incredible. Awesome experience! My skin is glowing! Anastasia is amazing and she gave me great tips on at home maintenance in between facials. Her products really work and I finally got rid of some pigmentation on my face. I also do waxing or sometimes sugaring here as I see how meticulously clean they are. I walked out baby bottom smooth. The strawberry skin on the back of my thighs have never felt smoother. That said, it is an intense scrub down, so be prepared for that. I'm sure you could probably ask to tune it down, but will that scrub away your sins like you want it to? Not sure. There's disposable panties available if you're coy, but otherwise it's a fully nude service & you will be scrubbed almost everywhere so leave modesty at home lol. It's a dim lit shower room and the staff is super professional so honestly I could not have felt more comfortable in my b-day suit! The changing area is cute & super clean. All kinds of post treatment toiletries and tools are available at your disposal. There's refreshments available as well. They do have parking available which is always a plus in LA. If you're interested in getting a Korean body scrub, I recommend House Of Skyn!
