We came back 5 minutes before the actual appointment time to check-in and their questionnaire was detailed allowing us to specify which areas of our body we wanted them to focus on, as well as if we had any allergies or problem areas. Once in the room, it was quite cramped, but nonetheless very relaxing and zen. The massage was one of the best ones I've had. They really take the time to assess your responses to the questionnaire, because the areas that I requested they focus on were immediately attended to. We try to go at least once a week because the quality is consistently amazing. The space is always clean, relaxing, and professional. Every therapist we've seen has been fantastic -- you honestly can't go wrong. Our personal favorites are Raya, Elle, Kim, Kristy, Sonya, Judy, and Brie -- but truly, the entire staff is incredible. Parking can sometimes be a pain but if you arrive early you can find parking on the street if their lot is full. I like that for $77 you can get a 60min massage + hot stones.. I will say the place does get crowded fast which sometimes makes it noisy because the walls are thin. But another thing that I've noticed is the masseuse cell phones go off or they are talking during the massage if you book a couples one. I'm sorry to say this was one of the worst massages I have ever experienced. I booked for last Friday evening using a gift card. It almost felt like the masseuse was texting with one hand and just rubbing with minimal effort on the other hand. There was no pressure, technique or love put into the massage and zero tension was released. The room was also very noisy with being right next to what I can only assume was a sink because the pipes would make drastic noises. On top of that, the receptionist asked me to tip before the session because she may be gone when I get out. This felt extremely inappropriate as you are supposed to tip based on your experience with your masseuse, I hadn't had my experience yet? I'm someone who gets massages regularly; communicate well what I'm booking my session for and this was really an incredibly disappointing session - not an experience I'd ever go back for. Omg I'm literally seconds from leaving this establishment and I am still reeling from how awful that experience was. I never leave Yelp reviews but this warrants one. Where to begin: I recently visited this massage place and had quite a disappointing experience. To start, the room was in poor condition. The partition between rooms was just a flimsy folding wall, and the massage table had noticeable wear, especially around the face cradle. That alone made me a bit uncomfortable. Secondly, while I was looking for a firm, therapeutic massage, my masseuse, who was older, didn't provide the level of pressure I needed. I didn't feel comfortable speaking up about it, which is on me, but it did affect the experience. Additionally, there were a couple of really awkward moments. My masseuse actually passed gas twice during the session, which was uncomfortable. Also, I noticed that extra oil or liquid was being added without them actually going over to any pump or container. My head was near the lotion container, so I could tell they were somehow adding more from somewhere else, which just felt odd and not very professional. I loved all of the thoughtful little details in the decor. We felt like we were on vacation on a tropical island. I called Saturday morning to book a couples massage the same evening. They had availability but only in the outside cabanas. I was a little concerned because it was cold and rainy, but I was assured they would be warm enough even though they are outside. We were very cozy and comfortable throughout the experience and the masseuses checked in with us to make sure we weren't cold. I loved how they ask you to fill out a form to explain what areas of the body they should focus on and if you would like to be stretched or walked on (yes, walked on). You could choose exactly what type of massage you wanted based on the experience you wanted to have (more relaxing, more intense bodywork etc). I went with deep tissue and my husband went with the Thai massage. We also added hot stones! It was so relaxing! I had a great massage on New Year's Day. The rooms were a bit cold, but aside from that, the massage therapist did an amazing job. Unfortunately, the experience was negatively impacted at checkout. I left a $20 tip in addition to the regular service fee, and the front desk employee responded by asking, "Massage not good?" When I explained that the massage was great, she replied, "I've never seen someone tip that little in my life." This comment was extremely rude and insulting. Tipping is optional, not mandatory, and no guest should be made to feel uncomfortable or disrespected over the amount they choose to tip. The front desk staff member working on January 1st, 2026 around 3:00 PM was unprofessional and clearly more focused on the tip than the customer experience. I was used to come to this massage place for years. I mean from the first day, I started in West Hollywood location in 2014. I had purchased multiple times buy 5 get 1 free. And purchased before I even finished all 6. Somehow I had not used the oldest 1 from the previous 6 purchased, but used all most recent 6. Today I brought the oldest and they charge me $35 dollars additional, because it was too old. They could said that I have older voucher that I should use first, but no one mentioned anything. For me it's not about money, it's more principle, that I brought a lot of friends and was regularly customer; and was up charge for that. I won't come here again. I don't even know where to begin. I asked for moderate pressure with focus on my lower back, and I said no stretching and walking was OK. At some point when she flipped me over, it felt like, she hadn't trimmed her nails, and she was scraping along my skin. It wasn't that the pressure was too much, it just felt sloppy and rushed. Like the tempo of her finger movements was off. I don't know who I saw, and this was my first time visiting since August 2023, and as soon as I got back and saw the marks on my body, I will not be coming back. This was not a physical therapy session where a trained professional used a tool to break apart the lactic acid, this was somebody using her bare hands to scrape at me back-and-forth, and I feel incredibly unclean, and hope that my skin doesn't break out after she scratched me up. My boyfriend booked this place last minute for me because I tweaked my back traveling for the holidays. This is his favorite place and he often raves about it. He wasn't wrong! I got a wonderful massage from Mr. Rin. I would say it was top 5 massages I've gotten in my life. I'm no stranger to massages and have gotten $400 ones from fancy 5 star spas and also cheaper ones from Asian places with shady uncomfortable facilities. I had just gotten a $300 60 min massage from Terranea resort 2 days prior and it was a good massage but my back was only 20% better and still hurting. This one was priced on the cheap side like under $100 after tip but it was more effective than my fancy massage, and the facilities were clean, private, and not shady. They were not 5 star spa ambience but it was pretty good, much better than the shady Chinese run foot massage places I've been to. At check in, I had put on the paper where my problem spots were and during my massage Mr Rin focused on those spots. I had put head and lower right back. He kneaded out all the knots on my right side from shoulder down to my inner thigh and I got a good 5 dry head "scrub". The massage on my right inner thighs hurt so bad and I've never had that area massaged before but I guess it's all connected to my lower back! This is different from most other massage places where I don't feel like they focus or listen to you at all to fix your pain and just go through with their usual routine. Mr. Rin knew where to knead to fix my problem spots! I was more sore and tired for a whole day after but 2 days later my back pain was 90% gone! Definitely need to come back and see him again and next time book for 90 minutes because 60 min wasn't quite long enough for me. The price is very reasonable too. They ask for a decent size tip of $20-$30 (more than 20%) and I'm glad to give it because the massage was so good. One thing to note, be on time! I was 3 min late and they ended my massage on the dot from the booked time. Check in 10 min early and be undressed on the table at the booked time. read more

I booked a 90 mins massage and in the last 30 mins I noticed that Jay wasn't really massaging me and was using one hand plus felt a few vibrations on the bed -- which I naively tried to convince myself that it wasn't a phone. At this point I was on my stomach and then asked to turn around which I did. The flimsy napkin she tried to cover my eyes gave me clear view of what was going on. She was on her phone!! The bright screen was shining on her face and she was usuing one hand to massage me and texting!! The vibrate alerts kept going off!! I take off the napkin and tell her, is their a problem?! She knows she was caught. I decided to not make a scene since my mom was next to me getting her massage and didn't want to ruin her experience. I'm fuming, absolutely disappointed, and can no longer relax. She moves to my scalp massage, but at this point she is pretty much pulling my hair and I cut the massage short. I don't want her touching me anymore. Mind you, I started noticing the lack of massage and phone vibrations for at least 15 mins prior to seeing it myself when I turned over. I happen to bump into the front desk receptionist (the pretty one who is soft spoken) in the hallway and told her what happened. She is understanding (acted like she was) and apologized. I've been coming to Sparadise for years. Have purchased sets of gift cards and have referred them to friends, family, and colleagues who have now been coming consistently. There is another another review for this business that the masseuse was also on their phone.. it seems common. They wait for you to doze off and then half-ass the service that you're paying full for. No discount was even given to me after the complaint -- which would have been the right thing to do. I paid $98 x 2 for a 90 min massage, plus $15 tip to Jay and $35 for my mom's masseuse. Gross way to do business, Sparadise. With the plethora of spa businesses on the blvd -- they should do better and actually follow up on a loyal customer.
