Food prices seem to have went up and portions and quality went down. My review from when this place was habibi was taken down unfortunately, otherwise you could have seen the difference. The tabbouleh, hummus, and meat were not good. The rice wasn't bad which I guess is a good thing considering it's 80% rice.

I did have to wait for a little under 20 minutes, however there were no customers there. I was expecting my food to be hot for the time I waited. However, it was not. The beef pieces were a bit chewy for my liking and were bland. I wish it had more seasoning or grill marks. The pita and veggies inside were fresh and the garlic sauce was the star of the show. The garlic sauce definitely elevates the pita. Based on the reviews, this place is pretty good but maybe I caught them on a bad day. I would like to try their baklava as it was staring me down during my wait for my order.

It took most of those 35 minutes just to get the food, which was all appetizers, most of which were cold (as they were supposed to be). How long does it take to take something out of the fridge? And for the warm items, we could hear the microwave in back being used. I know microwaves can be a reality in restaurants, but come on, turn the sound off! We literally had to cram food in our mouths while signing our check and racing to the show. Also, the wine situation was sad. The items we wanted we kept getting informed they were out of. The owner/server was very nice, and you can tell this is a family establishment, but it was a little *too* family, if you know what I mean. I felt like I had dropped in my neighbors and was waiting for them to whip something up for surprise guests.
