These noodles truly slap! The process is entertaining to watch, but the texture of the resulting noodle is splendid craftsmanship. That slapping and stretching creates some gluten magic that aides the chewy, bounciness of the delightful wide strips served in your bowl. The bowls are massive BTW. It can be a messy affair when some of the chili sauce splashs as you eat. White shirt not recommended. Give the bowl a good mixing and there will be sufficient flavor for all contents. My pork belly was perfect! This place stays busy for a reason. Going on a weekday afternoon helped avoid waiting in line, which is common in the evening and/or weekend. Staff was efficient. It's those ribbons of elastic biang biang noodles that are worth a bit of a drive.

We went over on a Wednesday night and got there around 6 PM. It was already pretty busy, but we were fortunate that we were able to get seated right away. When we left about an hour later, it definitely was busy and there was a line of people waiting to get seated. It does get loud in this location so you will find that you may have to speak up a little bit more because it is a small space and with so many people talking, it can be hard to hear the person sitting across from you. We started with the marinated lamb pancake, and it was so delicious! That meat in the chili sauce was spectacular. And the pancake was very flaky and just buttery. My friend got the shaved pork noodles and again it was phenomenal. The pork was marinated in that chili oil and it was just incredible. I ended up getting the short rib soup and I'll admit I was a little disappointed. The short rib really had no seasoning on whatsoever and unfortunately, it wasn't fall off the bone you actually had to cut it off. Even though I put Chili's on it, I was still hoping for more flavor in the meat. The noodles on the other hand were absolutely spectacular. They are done al dente so you get a little bit of chew in them, but the broth and the noodles together were spectacular. These are huge portion sizes so you definitely will have leftovers or order one and share it between two people because they are large. This location is located in the strip mall off of international Drive so parking can be really tight. Especially if you get into the evening as it gets much busier so take that into consideration when you're planning your trip.

My doctor and I decided to stop in here for daddy daughter lunch. It was well worth the wait. They were out of a couple items, but we were still able to get the beef.Sandwich, the vegetable soup, ten chicken dumplings, beef, skewer and crunchy chicken skewers. The additional side dishes of seasoning were perfect.I highly recommend coming here for a good lunch. The hanging napkin bags are a great touch. We got here as soon as they opened and it was busy nonstop

Called to make a takeout order and got: -braised beef noodle soup -beef skewers -vinegar soup dumplings -cumin lamb chili slap noodles We got our order fairly quickly and service was good. The inside is on the smaller side but cutely and cozily decorated. Food-wise, everything was very good and flavorful, so I feel like you can't go wrong with your selections. I would definitely go for the noodles and dumplings over the skewer options, but if you've never had Chinese skewers I would still try them! The portions are good too and filling, so I feel like there's no need to order extra noodles, unless you wanted to share it with other people. Would definitely come back when we're back in the area!

The service was friendly and attentive, and the noodle tasted authentic and full of flavor. The cool part was that you can watch the staff making the noodles fresh right in front of you

Cumin lamb pancake. Delicious. A bit hot and spicy

Came here after the parks. It was PACKED. The workers were actively cleaning and doing something. Which was nice to see. My bf and I ordered to share. Service was fast and food was very fast. We had the rib soup. It was very good. But what stood out to me the most was the cumin lamb pancake. Be careful though. It's a bit spicy. I'm glad we didn't order more. It was a perfect amount for two people.

If you are in the Orlando area you need to try this place we got a little bit of everything off their menu and it was amazing! Customer service was great, the wait today (Sunday) was literally 15 minutes. We had the short ribs noodles, the beef pancake, the pork dumplings, the beef skewers, fried chicken skewers, and the cucumber salad. The place feels very intimate, the lighting is perfect and the fact that you get to see the noodles being made is pretty satisfying. Thank you SLAP for such a good time!!!

Slap Noodles absolutely lived up to the hype! We arrived right at opening on a weekday and weren't surprised to see a line already forming outside given how popular this place has become. The service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and efficient despite the steady stream of customers. As for the food, it was phenomenal. Everything was packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and well worth the wait. It's easy to see why people are lining up for a bowl here. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We wanted to try something new so we made the drive to Slap Noodles. When you get there, you HAVE TO register in their computer AND get a text confirming they have your registration. Some people missed that which delayed their sitting. You are supposed to wait outside but there's nowhere to sit. We finally got seated after about 20 min (not bad) and were were close enough to the kitchen to hear the slapping of the noodles- that was cool. The menu is simple and pretty flavorful. Good service and decor. I think we will be back!

Wanted to try this place since it was viral all over tik tok and instagram! I went on a Saturday night for dinner and they said it would be hour wait which was fine but the guy working at the front told me to write my name and number and he would call me when the table is ready! So I left to go somewhere and came back a hour later since I never received a phone call yet and when I asked if it was ready he said he called me but he called the wrong last two numbers of my phone number so couldn't contact me wish you guys could get a better system where I can be texted when table is ready than having to hand write my number because I'm guessing maybe he can't read my number. Now to the food I got the 3 way chili noodles and that was delicious and it came out quick and service was great my server kept checking to see if I needed anything and filled up my water when it ran out. I also tried the chicken and beef skewers and all of those were good! If you guys ever come just expect a long wait since it's always busy and it's a small space inside the restaurant but it's good food and I love the decor inside too!

While SLAP may have gained its popularity from social media, this is one place that is absolutely worth the hype! My partner and I visited after a long day at universal studios. When we arrived, the restaurant was already completely full, so we were added to the waitlist. Luckily for us, this only took a few minutes. The menus were fairly simple and not too long. My partner and I both ordered their famous chili slap noodles. I don't do well with spice, but the menu was correct - the noodles were flavorful, not spicy. The noodles themselves were chewy and delicious and had so many delicious flavors and ingredients mixed in. The portion sizes were amazing as well. Just one thing to know - the napkins are in the hanging thing above the table! We had no idea and had to ask our server lol. Overall 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in the Orlando area!

Fantastic! Must go back, like today. So good, we cannot stress enough how awesome this was. We got there literally 3-minutes before it opened. They let us in and seated us. Then by 12:13, the place was full and people were waiting outside. We now understand why. The menu had so many options and for our first time there, we shared our dishes. One was better than the next. The noodles, which brought us there, were incredible. The last time we had real slapped noodles was in China. These were so authentic. Seriously, one of the best Asian dishes of all times. Look for the Jumbo Pork Belly Chili Slap Noodles. So good. I'm just mad we didn't get the beef rib. The people next to us had it and it looked awesome. Next time. This dish had just the right amount of heat and the pork belly was perfect. Then we had the Crispy Pancake with Cumin Lamb. Amazing. The pancake was crispy and flaky. The lamb was seasoned perfectly. So good. So good. So good. To make it better, we dipped this incredible sandwich in the noodle bowl with the chili sauce noodles. Genius. It made the sandwich better. A complete win. The place is immaculate. The staff could not be nicer and took care of us and the other 50 people very efficiently and with a smile. This is must go to. I just wish they were closer to where we live. A rare 5-star find.

What are noodles made out of?

Hi Stacy. Based on our experience it may just be the standard bread flour, water and salt. It was nice and chewy and basically flavorless until soaked in broth or some hot chili. As far as the type of flour...that may be best answered directly by…

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

The food was amazing... this is the real OG spot that started it all . There is one in LA that just opened up as a franchise but I'm so happy I was able to make it to the original restaurant and try all the amazing dishes they had to offer. The flavors are spot on and I really enjoyed the broth . Though in the dead heat of summer it's not ideal to eat soupy things ... I kind of found it all refreshingly and not overly heavy . We dinned there at night so it was also pleasantly cool.... This place was packed needless to say even during summer . Highly recommend this experience.

The inside of the restaurant is like a life-size coloring book that screams to me photographed. My Overall Rating - 4 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - One of the best things about Twenty Pho Hour is the design. It's a 2D restaurant that looks like a huge coloring book. But as I glanced around the wall, one thing caught my attention: Twenty Pho Hour is Michelin Recommended. Challenge accepted! The only problem is I think their A/C was broken. The restaurant was hot and they had two big fans blowing air. I hope the A/C gets fixed. 1/2 Star. Service - You line up and wait to place your order. While this is standard quick service, the staff is super nice and helpful. They gave me some recommendations that I took and was rewarded. 1 Star. Food - Not sure how long they cook the pho broth, but it's legit. This is not Asian fusion or a modern take on Vietnamese Pho. Twenty Pho Hour is authentic as you can get. I ordered the staff recommended "Black Ox". This bowl came with not one, but two oxtails, both with generous portions of tender meat. If you come only once, order this dish. Twenty Pho Hour's version of this pho was...dare I say it? As good as the Oxtail Pho I eat at home. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I went from skeptic to believer after one delicious bowl of pho. There are 4 locations in the US. Hopefully it arrives in DFW next. If they do they'll already have a fan. 1 Star
