Then by 12:13, the place was full and people were waiting outside. We now understand why. The menu had so many options and for our first time there, we shared our dishes. One was better than the next. The noodles, which brought us there, were incredible. The last time we had real slapped noodles was in China. These were so authentic. Wanted to try this place since it was viral all over tik tok and instagram! I went on a Saturday night for dinner and they said it would be hour wait which was fine but the guy working at the front told me to write my name and number and he would call me when the table is ready! So I left to go somewhere and came back a hour later since I never received a phone call yet and when I asked if it was ready he said he called me but he called the wrong last two numbers of my phone number so couldn't contact me wish you guys could get a better system where I can be texted when table is ready than having to hand write my number because I'm guessing maybe he can't read my number. We wanted to try something new so we made the drive to Slap Noodles. When you get there, you HAVE TO register in their computer AND get a text confirming they have your registration. Some people missed that which delayed their sitting. You are supposed to wait outside but there's nowhere to sit. Just enough sour to remind me of Filipino sinigang and a really nice complement to the dumplings. The beef short rib chili slap noodles were good, but I think the chili only was good when it mixed with the liquid at the bottom of the bowl and you toss it all together. Dry it wasn't as good. The two braised beef bowls we had were huge, stock was deeper in flavor, beef and rib were very tender. It can get busy and is first come first serve- no reservations. We ordered chicken skewers, cucumber garlic salad, crispy pancake with cumin lamb, and two noodle bowls: one with short rib and one with no protein. We discovered you definitely need some sort of protein to give the noodles flavor because surprisingly they are bland (even with all the chili seasoning) if you don't add a protein. Tried this place in an effort to escape the Universal resort food options on a trip to go to the parks. I have had and enjoyed similar dishes in NY and VA before, but this was by far my favorite. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a nice thickness and the sauces were incredibly flavorful while not being overpowering. They were the star. But the dumplings and pork sandwich were also very very good. On the sandwich, the pancake was crispy and multi-layered, the stewed pork was delicious with perfectly rendered pork belly. Pretty much a perfect version of that sandwich. We had the dumplings in the vinegar broth, and both were also absolutely delicious. We also had the peanut salad appetizer, and it also provided a nice crunchy and flavorful bite. We also had the beef skewers, and though they were probably the least favored item, they were also very good. I would definitely order everything again. The only change I would make would be switch out the short rib for pork belly, because it was just that good (or maybe try the onion lamb). Service was also very friendly and food was delivered quickly. The only downside was that we had to wait for a table for a bit after signing into their automated waitlist system. Nothing not to like here. Great meal in a modern and fun restaurant. My highlights are very quick service, large portions made to order, great flavor. The Chinese style lanterns are appealing but I liked the unconventional canvas slap bags that act as napkin holders which are suspended above the tables. The minimalist restaurant has cane back chairs, half booths and benches at the larger tables. As soon as I walked in, I was seated and presented with the menu. My booth was cozy and I settled in for some comforting food. This is a smallish restaurant is open 12 pm - 11 pm but would fill up quickly at peak times. Fortunately it was a cold night and there were plenty of tables available. If you request water you get cups and a carafe of cold water. At home I had reviewed the menu and other Yelper reviews so I had some ideas on what I wanted to order. I was thinking of getting the beef noodle soup, or cucumbers or a pancake with meat. I also was considering the beef soup with the short rib. A great suggestion from my server is to get the pancake with beef and dip it into the beef noodle soup instead of the short rib. Extra beef without the bone. I decided I wanted to get something fresh so I went with the garlic cucumber salad and the beef noodle soup. The cucumbers hit the table almost immediately and my steaming bowl of soup followed 5 minutes later. The chef makes the noodles to order and assembles the soup pronto. Both dishes had minced garlic, so if you are not a fan of garlic, I would consider a different menu item. I have to say this meal was probably the best Asian noodle bowl I have had in a long time. Both the cucumbers and noodles had great flavor without being chili spicy. The noodles were slightly chewy and the baby Bok Choi, scallions, onions, garlic and beef broth delivered a large full bowl. The menu has chili noodles for customers who like it spicy. The table has soy sauce, black vinegar and chili oil. Along with crocks of chop sticks that are longer than the standard disposable chop sticks. I had plenty of leftovers but I feel that the soup and cucumbers could easily feed two people, unless you have a big appetite. I asked for to go containers and they were sturdy rather than flimsy paper you get at a lot of restaurants. I was able to get my precious left overs home without spilling a drop. Slap Hand Ripped Noodles was fantastic and has now become one of our new go to places. There was a waiting line that moved rather quickly. Once we entered the door we could hear a slapping sound. I walked back to where the kitchen was an saw a gal stretching a huge, long, freshly made Noodle and beating it against the table. Yup, they actually slap the shit out of these noodles before putting them it boiling water. Now scoping the restaurant while waiting we noticed that the place was filled with Asian people. Now, fancy that, an Asian noodle place filled with Asians. Now, in the San Francisco Bay area that is nothing special, but in Florida; it really tells you something. It was a simple menu, and we ordered the appetizers of Cucumber Garlic Salad, and the Chinese Peanut Salad; both of which were out of this world. The Cucumber salad, like many of the dishes at Slap had a tangy Chili Sause, with the Peanut Salad, featured small chopped celery and carrots seasoned in vinaigrette. These were sensational although to be honest, the peanuts were hard to negotiate using chop sticks. We also ordered the Pork Cabbage Dumplings. These simply exploded in your mouth; the taste, the freshness, bolstered by the sweet sauce that accompanied the massive plate of 10 dumplings. But as good as these other dishes were the superstar dish of our meal was the Beef Short Rib Chili Slap Noodles. They brought over a pair of scissors with this dish to cut the noodles which were long and fat. The Braised short rib fell off the bone and was so flavorful. We probably over ordered as we brought back some food which I'm now enjoying as I type this. I must say that this place loved it's chili oil and the inside of our mouths were still singing and dancing with us as we trucked up back to our home planet. We will be back.... read more

My new favorite restaurant in Orlando by a landslide!!!! This is authentic food right here from seeing the chefs literally slapping the noodles, the massive short ribs to the perfectly seasoned food this place outdid themselves. Every single seat was filled in this place and everyone equally enjoying their food! I'm already planning when to drive back to Orlando just to come back, this place is literally amazinggggggg!! read more
