Had complicated wisdom teeth extractions with Dr Kahn and couldn't recommend this group enough. Dr Kahn made sure I was comfortable during a very long and difficult extraction, and did an excellent job on closure. I was back to work on post op day 4. I had to go through medical insurance, and my insurance was requiring an unexpected consult prior to paying for my surgery that was scheduled in 24 hours!! Dr koslin kindly made the time to see me at the end of his work day the day before, and we got it done, and he wasn't even the surgeon doing my teeth! These people care about their patients as a whole group. They are incredibly efficient, and knowledgeable. I would trust these guys with my life. read more

My son's orthodontist referred him to Dr. Benson to have a procedure done. Dr. Benson was very nice and professional. However, we went to have one thing done and was informed that my son's wisdom teeth needed to be removed as well. I was okay with that and spoke to billing and the out of pocket cost was $400 which was due before his appointment. A month later, I received a bill in the mail for $2300+ and was totally shocked. How was this missed? If I had known, my out of pocket cost would be that much, he wouldn't have gotten his wisdom teeth removed. I have called the office multiple times and left a message and no one has returned my call. Unfortunately, I dont recommend this place and the billing person needs to be fired because clearly she isn't doing a great job. read more

We were referred to this office by my child's dentist for wisdom teeth extraction consult. Walking into the building both my child and I were unsure about the place, but we were already there so stayed for consult. Once we met with doctor, we were told that my child would need to go to have this procedure as an outpatient in the hospital and not in office. We brought xrays from the dentist that had referred us, and yet more xrays were taken - this was just a consult. Received a bill for $160 for additional xrays and then they called 2.5 months later to schedule surgery. Needless to say, child had already had teeth extracted in office by a different practice. read more

Dr. Kahn is very nice and competent. He has extracted 3 of my teeth and each went as expected with no complications. He also has performed surgery on my mother. In both instances, we were owed money after the billing was finalized. In Feb 2026, I tried numerous times to reach the business office but no one ever answered and no one returned my calls. (It had been over 2 years since the refund was due.) I eventually called the appointment number and the lady there helped me. read more

Was told my estimated copay deductible would be $235. I paid the $235 and when I received the insurance claim it was actually about $55 less than I paid. No one from billing is reachable and they do not call you back after leaving a message. Even sent an email about my overpayment. Still no one responded back. Been trying to get my refund for about 4 months. No luck! I definitely will never go back. i should have read the reviews before I went. Seems like overcharging their patients is common at this facility. Maybe if we all went to small claims court they would stop doing this but I doubt it. read more

I'm very surprised at all the negative reviews of this place. Dr. Koslin is extremely knowledgeable and has really improved my quality of life. Koslin has been doing this for over 25 years. If you are looking for honest truth and no fooling around koslin is your guy. I've seen him for the past two years due to a tmj disease and terrible sleep apnea. I have had two surgeries under koslin and he has really really helped/fixed my jaw issues. I am about his daughter's age and he is always open to any and all questions i have. There was a big lil oopsy on my regular dentists part and Dr. Kahn was so patient, calm and reassuring to me even tho it messed his morning surgery schedule up. Me and my dad both had surgeries quite a few years ago and we will never return back after our experiences. My dad saw Dr. Kahn for sinus surgery, I saw Dr. Koslin for oral surgery for a tooth that was basically growing upside down. Long story long, I had to end up going back for another surgery with a local anesthetic instead of total because they couldn't fit me in. Thank God. The dr had to stick me with an IV 6 times before it stuck in my vein and he literally YELLED at me for complaining. My dad who saw Dr. Kahn also had a horrible experience and almost died after he left TISSUE in his sinuses, choked while driving a few days later and almost didn't make it. We had to call an ambulance after he choked for a couple minutes but thankfully got most of the tissue down his throat. As far as the office experience was, as many other people said, with me I had to wait an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment time to meet with the dr for literally 4 minutes for my consultation. I know people make fake reviews all the time but this one is real believe it or not. If you can find another place to have someone put you to sleep, do efficient surgery and hopefully not almost kill you please go there. read more

I went to this office 25 years ago and actually still in shock these old geezers are still in business. 25 years ago I needed a my pallet expanded from sucking my thumb as a child. Prior to getting my braces, I had to have a consult with Dr. Koslin. After having my braces on for a year, I had to go back the week before my surgery was to take place. It was at that point, he told me I would need a chin implant at the tube of 1,200.00, out of pocket. WHAT? Why did you not mention that a year ago?! I told my husband I did not have a good feeling about it that I didn't think I needed a chin implant! The day of the surgery, doc came in and asked me if I was going to have the chin implant with my jaw surgery. I told him I did not want one. He visibly was MAD and irritated with me! Oh! I was also told, my surgery would not require my mouth being wired shut. When I woke up, my mouth was completely wired! Fast forward to me going back to my orthodontist appt following my surgery, he was disappointed because he had not widened my mouth enough especially on one side! Not only that, he cut one of my roots to my eye tooth, making it completely dead! (Had to have root canal and crown on that!) 25 years later, my mouth is a mess, my jaw locks and you can hear it across the room crack. Stay away from them. Horrible office! read more

Unprofessional and rudest experience we have ever had at a medical office. My wife had surgery and the doctor was extremely rude and they lack knowledge of insurance very rudely told me to pay or leave while my wife was in pain and they didn't know how to file insurance claim so paid out of pocket and expected a refund within a couple of weeks. Surgery was done on Jan. 2nd when I spoke to them on the 14th was told they were waiting to hear from insurance then finally on February 8th I spoke with insurance company and they said nothing was ever filed until Jan. 25th and they paid in full on February 5th. Called and talked to Christy who is very rude and unprofessional and she said they were lying she made the claim the day of. Now today on the 16th she was rude again and claims my refund is only for one third of amount I paid after insurance statement shows they paid everything but a $30 copay. Dr. Koslin removed a molar that had been treated with a root canal and a crown years before. The tooth had accessed and had been quite painful. The office staff was very professional, the assistants were nice, and Dr. Koslin very kind. He was very encouraging and told me what was happening throughout the procedure. I booked a consultation to get an estimate of the cost of wisdom teeth removal for my daughter. I expressed this when I called to schedule the appointment. I was assured that the cost estimate would be available after the appointment, and a written pre-authorization would be issued for insurance purposes. Not the case! I was informed very rudely that the cost of the procedure will be expected at the time of the procedure. The billing clerk explained that NO explanation of costs will be given prior to the day of the surgery. In other words, we won't know whether we can afford the procedure until the day of the procedure. This is bad business! read more

My daughter had to have a tooth extraction. I was told the cost with insurance would be $200 for the doctors part and then I would have to pay the hospital part which would be communicated to me on the date of the procedure. I paid the the $200 and the hospital fee. When we go to our follow up visit I am told I have a remaining balance of $140. I asked where this amount came from and was told that it was from the 3D imaging done at our consultation. I asked why no one had told me that a cost would be incurred so at the very least I would be expecting a bill and the staff at the front desk said that I should have been told this information and to speak with the doctor. I asked the provider the same question and was brushed off with the statement we don't have the staff to tell everyone that something won't be covered by their insurance. A generic statement of you will be having "X" procedure or imaging done and it may or may not be covered by insurance. If it is not covered by insurance then you may have a bill or remaining balance. That should take less than a minute and you don't have to have extra staff to do it or say it. But to be brushed off and told well we don't have time to inform you is the absolute worst customer service. If you can go somewhere else then you should. If not just know you will more than likely have an unexpected bill. read more

this doctor overcharges. He looked at my mouth for 2 minutes and told me it was probably nothing and to come back in 2 weeks if my mouth didn't improve. he charged me $135. Thats over $50 a minute. Then when I refused to pay such a large amount for nothing, he sent my bill to collections. I would never recommend him and would advise others to stay away also. read more

I had my wisdom teeth taken out here about a month ago! It was the most pleasant experience I think you could have as far as oral surgery goes! The assistants were very knowledgable and helped ease my nerves before they put me under. Dr. Koslin is the doctor that performed my surgery and he came in and introduced himself! I started having an issue with my left jaw joint (TMJ) last April. By Early May my jaw was locked. I ended up at Dr. Koslin's office and he did surgery around the end of June. I have never been in so much pain as I did with this surgery. Dr. Koslin is rude and every visit I waited a minimum of 2 hours past my appointment time to see him. Then he spends 5 minutes with me. Here it is in November and my jaw is still messed up. Still can not open my mouth past 35mm, still have lots of pain, can barely eat, and now I get shooting pain in my left ear. Going to another Dr to get an opinion to see if they can fix my jaw. Stay away!!! read more

You will never wait less than an hour in the waiting room for him (Koslin) to spend no more than 45 seconds with you. After waiting over an hour for just a simple post-op, my daughter started crying and he told me I needed to keep her quiet. I have had 5 surgeries with him, hopefully I will not have to have another, but if so I will not be going back there. He books far too many patients in one slot. I took elderly relative to Dr Kahn because he was the only choice we had in the area. Two people had told me he wasn't a nice person. Unfortunately, I found out they were telling me the truth. I hope I never have to have any more experience with him. He was hateful to me when I tried to ask a question.
