    Eel avocado roll

Never been here before but had heard good things about their lunch combos. On this beautiful Saturday we decided that today was the day. The entrance is pretty grand and we smelled not only food, but cleaner from freely mopped floors. We were promptly seated and got our drink order in right away. Thr waitress was kind and offered us the amount of time we needed to go over the menu. We ordered 3 roll combos ($14) that included both miso soup as well as a small salad. The rolls (eel avocado, shrimp tempura, Alaska) were large and fresh. The rice was perfect and I was satisfied with the whole picture. The platters were glass and made the presentation even more appealing. We will certainly come back another time to enjoy more great food.

4 stars. Fast and delicious, if not filling. I enjoyed the salmon lovers and shrimp tempura rolls, but thought they were a bit small for the price. The tempura fried cheesecake was interesting, but not something I would order again. Warm, gooey cheesecake just isn't my thing, I guess. Two rolls and dessert via grubhub was $40! Way more than expected. I'm looking forward to dining in the restaurant on my next visit.

I ordered the mango madness sushi to go and their were multiple hard pieces in my food wich I assume is crab that they didn't take apart. The pieces were as hard as platice and definitely not ment to be in sushi and they need to do a better job at that. Will not be going again. They also have multiple health violations. Horrible Horrible Horrible.

I've been coming to this restaurant since they opened, and I think it's the best sushi in town! It's always amazing food, great service, and clean. I love this place and recommend it to anyone I hear that likes sushi.

Service was great, and rolls were fresh. Place was clean, and we enjoyed the decor. We randomly stopped in and it happened to be half price roll night. We really enjoyed the rolls and the appetizers we ordered. Plus, it was very affordable with the half price deal. We will certainly be going back!

First visit, Friday evening, somewhat busy, we did not do the Hibachi. Egg rolls were some of the best we've ever tasted. Fried perfectly, not too greasy and flavored perfectly. The chicken Tom Yum soup was had a perfect balance flavors and spice. If you're not used to spicy food it will "mildly hit you". Trex roll and pink lady roll were amazing. T. rex had a nice fried crunch on the outside, the sauce was delicious. The pink lady although raw was delicious as well. Chicken fried rice was different but delicious. Not as greasy as what you'd find at your local Chinese take out location and maybe not as flavorful but the flavors it had were a perfect balance as well. Server was rushed at times but attentive. Nice ambiance, clean restrooms, we were thanked on our way out. Good experience overall.

Worst Sushi Ever Tempura shrimp was harder than a rock - I asked to get something else - they gave me a bowl of fried rice - had about a pound of pepper on the rice.... Then I get the check - they charged me for the inedible sushi roll. After protest - again and again - they took off one of the rolls and then charged me for the fried rice. Waitress said " next time they will make you fresh tempura " Sorry - there will not be a next time for me.

The only place I will get my sushi from. My server even gave me a complimentary ice cream because I came in on my birthday! Great lunch prices , highly recommend

Pricey.Terrible food. Do not eat here. You will get immediate diarrhea. The Pad Thai was weird and pink.

I was the only one in our party who had not been to this place before and, in the end, the only person who wasn't crazy about the food here. As with most hibachi places, the entertainment factor was A+ and the service was good, but the food was mid. Beth, our waitress, was attentive. Our group of 9 all ordered a variety of hibachi. I chose chicken hibachi which came with miso soup, ginger salad, and grilled shrimp with a egg yolk sauce. The others in my party were obsessed with the egg yolk sauce way more than I was. There was just way too much food and honestly, it was all a bit bland. You get lots of food here, that's for sure, especially of rice. I would have liked more vegetables to diversify the meal. As for the starters, the miso was actually one of the best I have had but the ginger dressing was a weird color and the shrimp dish was not my fave. I ate the leftovers of my hibachi for lunch the next day and it heat up well but I noticed that not all the rice was cooked in the end. I ate it all anyway, of course. Apparently, this is the best hibachi place in the area so maybe I am just picky. Try it out - maybe you're fine with lots of food that isn't too flavorful that has way too much butter and oil.

Unfortunately we were completely ignored at our table. Several other two-tops got seated and the large party and they were all attended and even got their drinks before anyone greeted us or got our drink order. Eventually we moved tables to something more in the center of the dining room and still no one came to us. It wasn't until I flagged down a group of servers and food runners chit chatting by the corridor to the bathroom that someone finally came to our table. It's a shame the service sucked because the food was delicious. I loved my plum wine and spicy creamy V ramen. I added some extra veggie toppings which I think gets ridiculously pricey considering the ramen is already priced kind of high. My boyfriend had the chicken wings and white rice. He seemed to have enjoyed it. The following time I ordered delivery to avoid the spotty service we received last time. The packaging was great and it arrived early and was nice and hot. The V red fire opal ramen was DELICIOUS. And I'm absolutely obsessed with the matcha tiramisu. Delectable. I still want to try the Flying V harvest ramen. I appreciate they have several vegetarian options, considering the majority of the menu contains pork. Perhaps the next time I dine in and the service is improved they'll get that 5th star.

They aren't cheap, but I am in my poke bowl era right now, and Hawaii Poke is the only poke bowl to-go place near my boyfriend's house. We had gotten take out from here about a year ago but I never bothered to write a review until now. Located in a very busy shopping plaza, Hawaii Poke is a happy sight among all the chain restaurants nearby. The interior is plain and basic and the counter with the ingredients is nothing fancy, but it was a popular place at 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon! So that's a good sign. So not only was I trying to be healthy, I was also trying to be cheap so I only got the one scoop build your own bowl ($11.99) and no extras. Portions are surprisingly large, as you can see in my picture, and it took me about an hour to eat when I got home. After getting unlimited toppings at AA Poke in Fort Wayne, I am always now sad to see when poke places limit the number of toppings. But anyway, let's briefly mention the quality of ingredients. The tuna I got wasnt the freshest and the carrots looked a bit brown but everything else was tasty! I also liked the sweet chili sauce I got. And I will never get a poke bowl that doesn't have edamame. Edamame is a must! This might still be a high calorie lunch(sauces and rice are not low calorie!) but I FEEL healthy and that was what was most important for my mental health today.

The servings are generous, I'm always satisfied after eating here. It's never been busy and the service is fast.
