While traveling in the Philly area I found this place on Yelp. It did not disappoint. Cronuts are great! My iced americano w chocolate was ok. I ordered egg w turkey sausage on a croissant. My Sandwich was hot and fresh, I was able to create my own and they have vegan cheese! The server was friendly. Clean bathroom. Seating inside was comfy and welcoming. They do offer a few outdoor tables/chairs. Prices were fair and it's in a great neighborhood. Seems like a local gem. I definitely recommend.

great coffee with indoor and outdoor seating. perfect for an affordable & casual brunch with the girls. I got the Spanish Shaken Latte that uses condensed and evaporated milk, really good.

I ordered a Spanish latte and after taking 3 sips, this is what was left in the cup. The cup was full of ice and barely any latte. The little latte I had was delicious but overall very disappointed with my cup of ice.

Cute cafe. Esthetically pleasing inside. Friendly staff. You can customize your drinks. I got the Creme Brûlée latte and it was good. I got half a pump of the syrups bec I didn't want it overly sweet. It was perfect My friend got the Greek frappe. It had more foam than coffee. It reminded me of the dalgona coffee that went viral on social media a few years ago.

Bright comfortable cafe - known for their Greek There are seating outside as well. The Creme Brulee Salted Caramel latte with almond milk was perfect - the sweet caffeine needed today. Friendly staff, would return here again. Saw vegan options for those inclined.

We stopped in for a couple of iced espresso drinks. The ambience is clean, cutesy, and cozy. The barista who helped us was very friendly and made awesome recommendations. We had a shakerato and Spanish espresso drink with sweet condensed milk. Both were lovely! Velvety smooth and well balanced. Honestly the best caffeine buzz I've had in a while - no shakes but very awake and focused!

I was visiting the area and was so pleased to find this lovely local coffee shop. I actually stopped there two days in a row and got the same exact things. I loved the iced pistachio vanilla latte with oat milk. I also got the avocado toast Mediterranean style that was delicious and included generous amounts of feta on top of a slice of sourdough bread (there were other choices for the bread) with smashed avocado, olive oil, tomatoes along with the feta. I brought a couple of friends with me on the second day and they loved their cold brew coffee as well. The food and beverages leaned Greek, which included some of my favorite flavor profiles. There were several yummy sweets /dessert choices that if we had more time we would've checked out. It's a great place on the corner with easy parking on the street. Space inside to work or to sit down with friends and enjoy the coffee, desserts, or other choices that are available. Service was super friendly and quick. I'm always happy to support local coffee shops. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend. And be sure to check their hours as they close early afternoon..

Went on a Saturday at 11, and it was not very busy. However, the area is busy, and parking doesn't come easy. I parked down a side street and walked over. From out of town, I found this coffee shop on Yelp. It's cozy and small inside, and their pastries looked delicious. I ordered a Creme Brulee Salted Caramel Latte 20oz for $6.55. I was shocked to see I was charged 15 cents because I asked for light ice, unsure why. However, the service was speedy, and I didn't wait less than 5 minutes for my drink. I didn't get the whipped cream, and the drink really didn't have much flavor like I was hoping for! I thought with two bold flavors it would have been delicious, but it was okay.

Try the homemade baklava and thank me later.

Excellent local coffee shop in Haddon Township. Some independent coffee shops double down on the bohemian vibe, but this place is incredibly bright, clean, modern and inviting. You'll never find better baklava in your life. Seriously, try it and enjoy your new and improved life now that your lips have touched heaven. I work at one of the schools in town and last year they donated $5 gift cards for the entire staff for teacher appreciation week, which was super generous and kind. My only complaint though is the hours are only 8am - 3pm which is pretty much the exact hours I'm working, so it's hard to get here on weekdays. I did manage to make it here today during a period off because I needed caffeine like... an exhausted teacher trying to think of a simile needs caffeine. I got a chai and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and both were perfect. The place was pleasantly full at 9:30 in the morning, filled with people either studying or in animated conversation. Really nice atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Spanakopita imported from Greece and baked fresh daily

Great place to stop by and have a delicious coffee and some Greek sweets and delights. The inside is cosy and inviting. Their spanakopita is imported from Greece and baked fresh daily on premises they have a large assortment's of sweets like muffins and cookies as well as some Greek pastries. They have Greek drinks and a small little Greek store to take something back home with you. Great service and with a smile. I highly recommend this coffee place and will definitely be back! Yiasas!

    Greek coffee and vegan spanakopita
    Roxanne O.

Service was welcoming, helpful and not overbearing. I ordered a Greek coffee, which I was told was like a Turkish coffee, but theirs was larger. It has that's sandy bottom so be sure to not drink it all at the end, but it smooth and hot. I also orders the vegan spanakopita. I'm not vegan but I always try to choose the vegan option. It was served on a plate, though I had to find silverware myself, I didn't find it quite usable. The inside was melty and cheesy but the outside was quite hard and I broke the fork trying to use the fork and knife together. So I gave up and just stabbed in with the fork and ate it very unelegantly, haha. Taste was good, the pastry was just altogether too difficult to handle. But I enjoyed my time here and I would come again to try their regular spanakopita!

    Frappe Iced Creamy Coffee
    Esther L.

I'm so glad we were able to visit here finally. Street parking was easy. This spot is so so cute. It was definitely busier and a bit on the louder side. I had their frappe iced creamy coffee which was good. My husband enjoyed his Freddie espresso although he realized it must have been strong since he felt jittery afterwards which he never feels even with all the caffeine he normally drinks. I'll def be back for days when I need to get some work/studying in.

    Feta pie with coffee
    Allie A.

What a lovely surprise! I've been eyeing this place for months now, but just haven't had the chance to pop in. I did an early morning grocery run and pulled into the parking lot across the street since parking can be iffy on a busy morning. The pastries looked amazing, so ordered a slice of the feta pie and a small coffee. I was honestly a little surprised that my bill was nearly $10, but I decided this was a splurge and well worth it. The coffee was hands-down one of the best cups I've had in a long time. And that feta pie? Swooooooon. Worth every penny. It was a large slice, so share it with a friend. Glad to have a few minutes to sit down, people watch, and enjoy a few minutes of relaxation. The owner was there, so I made sure to let her know I enjoyed my time. The ambiance is simple - clean, modern with pops of color. Next time I'm bringing a friend!

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

I ordered one of their specialty iced coffees, the Chocolate Covered Banana. I'd normally avoid something like this because of the sugar, but it was surprisingly not overly sweet. That said, I didn't really taste much banana. The ordering setup is a bit unusual. You place food orders at one counter and coffee at another. The coffee came out quickly, but the Caesar wrap took over 20 minutes. It didn't seem especially busy in person, so they may have been juggling delivery orders. The kitchen is very small and appeared to have just one cook at the time. It's a family-run business, which is really sweet. It did seem like the owners' kids were working the counters, and they felt a bit inexperienced when it came to handling volume or order issues. On a nice day, it's a lovely spot to sit outside. In bad weather, though, takeout or delivery are really your only options. It's definitely on the pricier side. The Caesar wrap was over $15, and the coffee came to about $8 with tip, though both portions were quite large. I will say, the food is delicious. The wrap was honestly one of the best I've had. Freshly cooked warm chicken, just the right amount of dressing, fresh parmesan, crisp lettuce, all wrapped in a perfectly warmed wrap. I'll definitely be back, and I'm curious to see how they continue to grow and improve.

Review: Locally Sourced, Tallow‑Fried, Seed‑Oil‑Free Café in Turnersville, NJ…read more This new café at 245 Fries Mill Road in Turnersville, which opened in October 2025, is already drawing serious attention -- and for good reason. I visited on a Saturday around 10:30am, and it was packed, standing‑room only, which tells you immediately that they've struck a chord with people looking for cleaner, more intentional food. What sets this place apart is its uncompromising commitment to sourcing and cooking methods. * Their milk comes directly from a local dairy farm with pasture‑raised, grass‑fed cows. * Their coffee beans are fair trade, USDA organic, and locally roasted. * Every dish uses pasture‑raised eggs and local, grass‑fed meats. * They cook exclusively with tallow, avocado oil, olive oil, or butter -- no seed oils anywhere. * All cooking surfaces are stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, or copper ceramic -- no Teflon or PFOA coatings. If clean ingredients and traditional cooking fats matter to you, this is absolutely your kind of breakfast spot. Food & Drinks I ordered the braised hash, which was flavorful and satisfying. The beef itself was excellent -- tender, rich, and clearly high quality. The dish includes fresh carrots, parsnips, and kale, which won't be for everyone; personally, I wasn't a fan of those additions, but the spicy aioli brought the whole plate together nicely. Their tallow‑fried donuts are an interesting concept. While I appreciate the clean‑ingredient approach, the donut itself was firmer and less sweet than I prefer, and you can definitely taste the tallow. They were also on the expensive side for what they delivered. For a drink, I tried the peanut butter banana chocolate macchiato. The idea is great, but in execution it was overly sweet, and I couldn't really taste the peanut butter or banana. Next time I'll stick to a classic mocha. The chocolate chip cookie had a lovely buttery flavor and that homemade feel you only get when there are no emulsifiers or additives, though it leaned a bit dry. Service & Atmosphere Despite the crowd, the service was friendly, attentive, and warm. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can feel the pride behind the counter. The baked goods have a home‑baked, clean‑ingredient character, which is refreshing compared to the overly processed pastries you find elsewhere. Overall This café fills a unique niche in the breakfast scene -- clean, local, intentional cooking with a focus on traditional fats and high‑quality sourcing. Some items hit better than others, but the philosophy is admirable, and the execution is thoughtful. If you care about seed‑oil‑free cooking, local farms, and real ingredients, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

While I've eaten and cooked many cuisines from East and Southeast Asia, I have had relatively little experience with Khmer (Cambodian) food, which made the visit especially exciting for me. For appetizers we ordered the fried dough, which is essentially identical to Chinese youtiao, and the Kaw Ko with bread. The Kaw Ko was outstanding--deeply flavorful beef stew gravy filled with generous chunks of beef and carrots, served with crisp, crusty yet fluffy bread that was perfect for soaking up the rich sauce. My fellow diners both ordered the large Traditional Kuy Teav soup, Phnom Penh style, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The pork broth is flavorful but intentionally mild, allowing diners to customize it with condiments. Both of them added chili crisp oil, hoisin sauce, fresh chiles, and soy sauce to season it to their liking. On our next visit they both plan to try the dry noodles or possibly order a full portion of the Kaw Ko. I ordered the Kuy Teav Kouk (dry noodles), Phnom Penh style, and absolutely loved it. The dish is served with the pork bone broth on the side, which I found perfect. I added chili crisp and chili oil to the noodles and mixed everything together. The dry style gives you a wonderful range of textures--soft noodles, assorted meats and offal, crisp bean sprouts and coriander--followed by sips of the rich pork broth. It makes for a truly satisfying and balanced dining experience. To drink, I had tea and the pandan limeade, which was refreshing and delicious. Service was impeccable and the restaurant is very welcoming and a pleasant environment with comfortable seating. We were greeted warmly, seated promptly, and our food arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. I would highly recommend Heng Seng Noodles to anyone.
