While traveling in the Philly area I found this place on Yelp. It did not disappoint. Cronuts are great! My iced americano w chocolate was ok. I ordered egg w turkey sausage on a croissant. My Sandwich was hot and fresh, I was able to create my own and they have vegan cheese! The server was friendly. Clean bathroom. Seating inside was comfy and welcoming. I was visiting the area and was so pleased to find this lovely local coffee shop. I actually stopped there two days in a row and got the same exact things. I loved the iced pistachio vanilla latte with oat milk. I also got the avocado toast Mediterranean style that was delicious and included generous amounts of feta on top of a slice of sourdough bread (there were other choices for the bread) with smashed avocado, olive oil, tomatoes along with the feta. I brought a couple of friends with me on the second day and they loved their cold brew coffee as well. The food and beverages leaned Greek, which included some of my favorite flavor profiles. There were several yummy sweets /dessert choices that if we had more time we would've checked out. It's a great place on the corner with easy parking on the street. Space inside to work or to sit down with friends and enjoy the coffee, desserts, or other choices that are available. Service was super friendly and quick. From out of town, I found this coffee shop on Yelp. It's cozy and small inside, and their pastries looked delicious. I ordered a Creme Brulee Salted Caramel Latte 20oz for $6.55. I was shocked to see I was charged 15 cents because I asked for light ice, unsure why. However, the service was speedy, and I didn't wait less than 5 minutes for my drink. Excellent local coffee shop in Haddon Township. Some independent coffee shops double down on the bohemian vibe, but this place is incredibly bright, clean, modern and inviting. You'll never find better baklava in your life. Seriously, try it and enjoy your new and improved life now that your lips have touched heaven. I work at one of the schools in town and last year they donated $5 gift cards for the entire staff for teacher appreciation week, which was super generous and kind. My only complaint though is the hours are only 8am - 3pm which is pretty much the exact hours I'm working, so it's hard to get here on weekdays. I did manage to make it here today during a period off because I needed caffeine like... an exhausted teacher trying to think of a simile needs caffeine. I got a chai and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and both were perfect. The place was pleasantly full at 9:30 in the morning, filled with people either studying or in animated conversation. Their spanakopita is imported from Greece and baked fresh daily on premises they have a large assortment's of sweets like muffins and cookies as well as some Greek pastries. Service was welcoming, helpful and not overbearing. I ordered a Greek coffee, which I was told was like a Turkish coffee, but theirs was larger. It has that's sandy bottom so be sure to not drink it all at the end, but it smooth and hot. I also orders the vegan spanakopita. I'm not vegan but I always try to choose the vegan option. It was served on a plate, though I had to find silverware myself, I didn't find it quite usable. The inside was melty and cheesy but the outside was quite hard and I broke the fork trying to use the fork and knife together. So I gave up and just stabbed in with the fork and ate it very unelegantly, haha. Taste was good, the pastry was just altogether too difficult to handle. What a lovely surprise! I've been eyeing this place for months now, but just haven't had the chance to pop in. I did an early morning grocery run and pulled into the parking lot across the street since parking can be iffy on a busy morning. The pastries looked amazing, so ordered a slice of the feta pie and a small coffee. I was honestly a little surprised that my bill was nearly $10, but I decided this was a splurge and well worth it. The coffee was hands-down one of the best cups I've had in a long time. And that feta pie? Swooooooon. Worth every penny. It was a large slice, so share it with a friend. The food was delicious, but the waffle hash brown was easier eaten with a fork, haha. Coffee was great for a local coffee shop. The shop I general is beautiful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The only downside was that no matter what we tried, we could not log in to their wifi. My quest to usurp Starbucks as my go-to spot when I want an espresso drink continues.. I recently gave Koupa Espresso Bar a try. The decor of the shop itself was cute and the service was decent. But my beverage (Skinny Cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso) was not. It tasted like steamed milk and the lil' bit of coffee flavor I did taste was not good. Very disappointing. You are able to pre-order on their website but they don't offer customization options like dry, extra dry, etc. So my quest continues. I won't be back. read more

We have a lot of places in Camden County to drink specialty coffee. Some even roast their own beans at scale. So why should you care about this one? What sets this one apart from the pack? I'll tell you why: their espresso. First a bit about me...I mostly review Asian (especially Vietnamese) restaurants in the area but every so often, I find someplace that gives me pause. And this is one of those places. Plus, I am a coffee nerd. That said, let's get to the heart of the review...Their background roots are coffee and their baristas are trained by Square Mile Roasters in the UK. Anyone who knows anything about coffee, knows them and their co-founder/Managing Director James Hoffman. Their beans? They use Intelligentsia and during the holidays they get the aforementioned UK fellows beans. So they are using quality techniques and great beans. Plus, they are pulling these shots with a beautiful Victoria Arduino White Eagle Digit and Mythos II grinder (if I'm not mistaken). Oh, and I grabbed a hot latte (delicious!) and some Intelligentsia espresso beans. They have some tasty looking pastries and a wide range of drinks that give me an excuse to bring family and friends next time. Lastly, they have a beautiful, welcoming farm house-like interior with plenty of space inside and out for groups or a pleasant date with your significant other. I've been wanted to try Koupa Espressso Bar since I saw it on the TooGoodToGo app and finally got a chance to try it! I ordered the Greek avocado toast with an egg on top, a spanakopita, and a frappe. Both the toast and the spanakopita were delicious! The frappe was significantly sweeter than expected. I asked how sweet it was by itself and the cashier asked me how I take my coffee and I said usually with cream and sugar so she added sugar to the frappe but I think it could've done without the extra sugar. Koupa never disappoints. I actually live walking distance to another coffee shop in my borough and I drive 3 miles here to get a good cup of coffee. They have all the options; espresso, frappe, smoothies, cold brew, iced coffee, shakeratto, so many ways to customize your beverage and trained baristas to make it perfect every time. I recently found out I'm pregnant so I've switched to decaf and it still hits the spot! I also appreciate that they use quality syrups and barista blend alternative milks--it really makes a difference in the flavor and texture balance. All the steps they take and the feel of this family owned establishment are what makes it worth the drive every time. I love their breakfast sandwiches on sourdough--so good! Their spanakopita is voted the best for a reason. Don't miss it. They're constantly dreaming up new specials. They host little coffee flight nights. It's a nice place with friendly people and they clearly care enough to invest in the quality and experience of their cafe and to me, that effort doesn't go unnoticed.
