Two times. That's how many times I have bene to Koury's and you know what? I like their wings. I have no idea how I didn't write a review the first time but it was the RI food Fight Wings challenge that first got us in the door (even though they are in the same town!) Small place with a small parking lot but I like that it's quaint. First time we were with our kids at a table and this time we sat at the bar. Both times the waitstaff have been nice (our bartender was really fun to chat with.) They have a menu has a good amount of variety without being overwhelming. When we request the wings well done- they are well done. Decent blue cheese and their garlic parm is delicious! This time I had a bbq chicken sandwich (really like a patty melt.) The chicken was really chewy. Took away from my enjoyment of the meal. True score: 3.5

This is a small bar/restaurant located in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The service was the highlight of our visit, with one person front of house taking care of the bar and surrounding tables and another person in back cooking. The server/bartender helping us was friendly and checked in with us regularly even as the place started filling up with their regular customers. The food was good and portions were large enough to share.

Chill brewery under 10 minutes from Emerald Square Mall. This place has been on my list for a long…read moretime and when I realized where it was I thought this would be great to check out after a busy afternoon of errands along Route 1. It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!

It was exciting when they moved to the new location and have a big beautiful building now. It's a great place to hang out and is quite large so is perfect for events. They have had fundraisers and music there often. There is a nice outside area , perfect for the nice weather coming. They usually have a food truck or you can bring your own. The beers are always reliable. They have had the bievenuto red and coffee stout as long as I can remember. There is always a good amount of choices , if you don't enjoy those flavors as much as I do. It's a really great spot and a great place to visit. Cheers

For a small place they have a nice selection of beers. Also importantly, it was frosty-cold and served in appropriate glassware. We learned that this place has new owners. There is a couch and several high top tables along with bar seating. There are a couple of big screen TVs, a "pick & pay for your song" machines, and a little cubby with a few games you can play. Beer selection was OK, but they also have a full bar. The bartender was still learning how to make some drinks, but did a decent job and the price point was fair. We had no intention of eating anything, but several of the item on the menu sounded quite tempting. They serve things like burgers, flatbreads and wings. Menu isn't huge. We struck up a conversation with the cook and he ended up bringing us out a sample of wings. They were delicious! I wish I hadn't eaten dinner already because I would've ordered more! Definitely makes me want to come back and try other things. Aside from the cook, the rest of the staff was super friendly. You can tell their heart is in it. I felt more like I was amongst friends than meeting people for the first time. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

The food and service were not up to snuff, as our waitress was rather slow and inattentive. The salad I ordered was STILL not correct in that it featured items which I specifically asked to be removed. I did note that my salad was brought out in a bowl and not a sheet pan, which was an improvement over last time. The thing was that there were less than 10 people in the restaurant at the time as we arrived around noontime and I would have thought that the waitstaff would have had the time to attend to us in a proper fashion, but they were content to mill about close to the bar area. The drinks were OK and though not spectacular, were still good and met with my expectations. Apparently, management has yet to take appropriate steps to ensure that the waitstaff is attentive and the food is brought out properly. My wife ordered things that were more in line with this restaurant's strengths and she thought everything was fine, but as with the last time I was here, it seemed that little attention was paid to dishes that are not fried or battered in some way. While I realize that it is impossible to be all things to all people, when I order something at a restaurant, I expect it to be perfect considering the prices. All in all, I will not be returning to this place unless some serious improvements are made not only in the quality of the dishes, but in the attentiveness of the staff.
