Smash cheeseburger and hand cut fries from the Farm To Sandwich food truck. Convenient online ordering.

A nice micro brewery in Cumberland worth a visit. For those that appreciate relaxed atmosphere where to have a brew, play some classic pinball machines, and enjoy ordering online from food truck eatery parked outside and eat and drink in the tap room. It's a a Latin owned brewery, and some of their brews bear Spanish names. We sampled a flight of 4 beers, each was a 5 ounce poor, which we had with Smash cheeseburgers and hand cut French fries from the Farm To Sandwich food truck at service during our visit. The food was excellent and we also enjoyed live singing and guitar music by a talented Jake Frezza. Of the beers tasted, I enjoyed their Coffee Milk Stout the most, with a rich, malty flavor balanced with infused coffee from a local coffee roasted. The beer I enjoyed the least was their You Are Such An Ass IPA, which simply didn't taste like an IPA at all. I was so convinced we had been served a Pilsner beer instead, that I asked the bartender and he graciously offered a repeat pour, which did confirm that it was indeed their IPA of the day. Not something I would order again, it was however aptly named since it tasted like ass! The Bienvenu Red Ale was flavorful and refreshing and it was my second best of the day. The Never Bet The Devil Imperial Stout with an ABV of 10.1% was the most potent of the brews in my flight, but it was too sweet for my taste. Although somewhat underwhelmed by the flavor of some of the brews, I will certainly recommend this establishment due to the overall positive experience of our visit and to support an unique local enterprise.

Dog friendly!! Nice patio area and big indoor space. They have a wide variety of beers and rotating food trucks. They let you buy singles to take home which I always love too

First time at new location. We came on Friday night. They had live band playing and a food truck on site. The place was very busy inside and outside. We had a group of 4. 3 of us had You Are Such an Ass and 1 person had Cogswell Tower. Both beers were good. Next time we all agreed we should do a flight to try some of the other beers. It was just so busy none of us thought to do that and by the time we did we were happy with our choices. They are dog friendly. We saw many happy pups. Can't wait to try it again and see what other food trucks they have in the future.

Best place in RI !! I've been to almost every brewery in New England and this is hands down the best! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a safe environment especially during the pandemic. Beers are tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely will be coming back here !!!

    Great apparel as well!

Great beer. Shuffleboard. Fun to be had by all. Really enjoy the vibes. Very chill. Played some pinball, little pricey on the pinball.

Good beer, nice folks, suitably homely (or is it homey?) atmosphere like many brewpubs. I'll be back.

Phantom Farms Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Cumberland, Rhode Island in March 2024. It…read morewas founded by entrepreneur Jason Macari and his son-in-law Jay Neveu. Macari first worked for toy manufacturer Hasbro before launching a custom cabinetry business with another former Hasbro colleague. Today he is involved in multiple businesses. For a new venture, Macari decided to open his own brewery with Neveu, another former Hasbro employee. The partners acquired and completely renovated the circa 1872 Berkeley Mill boiler room building to house the brewery. They named it "Phantom Farms" after the Macari family's local apple orchard and bakery just down the road. Oscar Garrido and Andrea Riera, a husband-and-wife team from Chile, were hired as the head brewers. Since opening, Phantom Farms has become known for its farm-to-pint operation, its close connection to its namesake orchard, a historic taproom, and award-winning lagers. I recently visited Phantom Farms Brewing while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restored historic building was. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, indoors and outdoors, and the brewery is also family-friendly. After exploring all of the various rooms, I looked over the draught menu. There was an eclectic mix of beer styles as well as hard cider crafted with apples from the Phantom Farms Orchard. Between mingling with the other bloggers and playing some games of Biñho, I enjoyed pours of "Half Dark" (Czech Amber Lager), "Elegant Viking" (New England IPA), "Alternate Continuum" (Barrel-Aged Saison), and "Hypernova" (Barleywine). I was very impressed with everything that I tried, especially the last two. Between an excellent roster of beers, a beautiful historic space, and some excellent company, I had a really enjoyable experience at Phantom Farms and I highly recommend them to any craft beer aficionados who are visiting the area!

I had a hard time choosing between the Pretty In Pink strawberry lager and the Apple Pie Seltzer, but the PIP was actually all out (so sad!!) so I went with the seltzer. It had a strong almost artificial scent, but a much more mild flavor. It wasn't too sweet and had notes of cinnamon - very unique and drinkable, although I don't think I'd need more than one. I was surprised and pleased to see they have a food menu. There's a pretty big parking lot but it's very uneven and filled with pot holes, and people park a little...erm...creatively - you've been warned. On weekends I've seen the main and overflow lot fill up, and I couldn't even find street parking, so had to go elsewhere - plan accordingly. The tap room is big and has nice bathrooms that are always clean. The main seating option are long picnic table benches - my back personally cannot do a backless seat for more than an hour without being in pain, so take that into consideration. It's also kind of awkward to swing your legs into the seat every time you have to get up, especially if it's full and you're in the middle. I'd love this place so much more if it just got normal tables and individual chairs with backs! My favorite thing about this brewery is that it is dog friendly and there are usually multiple gorgeous furry faces here to oggle over.

They have a really great variety of beer throughout the year, from sours to stouts, & I get a real chuckle out of their label designs & beer names. They have some pretty awesome seasonal stuff too; this year, I was psyched about their fall beer (Gourds Gone Wild) & their holiday cranberry beer (Hipster Santa). Their summer sours were pretty epic too. And, l've loved their collaborations with Borealis Coffee Company. They also have a decent size IPA selection for those who love them; I recommend the Chubby Unicorn...so good! Beer is sold in cans here. Their website is super easy to use & gives great descriptions of what they have available. If you sign up for their emails, you'll get a heads up on new flavors...or returns of your favorites. Definitely worth checking out if you're a craft beer lover. Can't wait to see what they create in 2021!

I know they're closed but I'm writing a review anyways :(…read more I was really sad to hear that Smug was going out of business. It's in a big warehouse space that connects to some other businesses, and they'd been hosting some cool events and beer launch parties towards the end. The space was a little weirdly shaped, but there was usually always someplace to sit. The beers came in a wide variety. The Hawaiian Punch bright red sour they usually had was my favorite- so sweet and nostalgic - but they made other great sours. I tried a non alcoholic beer the last time I went that I really loved, I wish I could remember the name. The parking was the worst part - I could never find a space nearby and often had to walk a street or two over, which wasn't ideal for this area at night imo. Whenever they had a food truck, it would take up part of one of the narrow side streets, as well as half the sidewalk since they would park up on it, which looked bizarre and made it hard to pass both as a pedestrian and driver lol. Service was a little slow, but bartenders tended to make good conversation with everyone, so that's a decent excuse. I'll really miss it!
