My hubby and I went in for lunch and We were pleasantly surprised at how extraordinary the food was...we cant wait to go back

Wonderful little hole in the wall Thai/southern Asian restaurant frequented by locals during lunch time. Food was delicious and nicely seasoned. Best known for the satay, however we they did not offer it during our visit due to a peanut scare. The curry was quite nice. Can't say enough good things about the friendliness of the staff and owners. They even entertained my toddler son when he was being fussy. Beef satay. Chicken Satay. Noodles + Rice (with gravy) and Hot & Sour Soup. This is the ultimate Kowloon dish and it is SPECTACULAR. I love this place. read a few of the comments on here before I wrote this. I went here today for the umpteenth time. I love this place. Seem to me that in Idaho there is no real chinese or for that matter good asian food. At least that is what I thought until a co-worker introduced me to this place. Yes it is a hot table resturant, but do let that send you packing. They have the closest thing to authentic foods I have found so far. Satays are tasty and wonderful. I am currently having 5 spice pork as well. Yummy is the only words I can use to describe it. As for the people that do not know what asian food tastes like, this is the closest in Poky. The staff is super friendly they speak english well and are always welcoming. I do not know if they have expanded their resturant because there is plenty of places to eat. Many tables and chairs. They even have a mini asian store there. Not sure of the regions the the stuff they sell there. I did not find any thai food in their mini store but if youre looking try here. read more

This is my favorite place for Thai food in Pocatello and has been for over a decade. When I was in college I'd travel there several times a week because it's cheap with good sized portions. I travel all over the country for work and only once have I had satay that was comparable. I try to eat there at least once when I'm home monthly. My kids also love it and they are picky little eaters. read more

Very nice owners, but food is at best soggy fast food. The spicy shrimp had great flavor, but the shrimp obviously had been floating around in the sauce for hours and were mushy (yuk!). I grew up in Louisiana and you don't overcook the shrimp. Initially, you get rubbery. I don't know how long it must take to get mushy.... read more

Crap. The food tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for a week. Was honestly kinda sketched out eating it, threw it away after a bite of each of the three items we got. They used to have the best Hot and Sour Soup, Satay Chicken and Noodles. But now they have Sour Soup, Non Spicy Chicken and so so noodles. I think they have changed their recopies, cause it doesn't taste as good as it once did. read more

Used to love this place but then I think owners retired and handed the business off to kids. It was still okay but the quality really started to plummet. Portions were smaller and taste wasn't near as good. The satay is no longer even spicy. All around drop in quality. Regardless of all that I would still have to satisfy the craving occasionally and would partake. Unfortunately I was more disappointed each time. I had completely sworn the place off, I thought, until that craving hit again today. So off I went, hopeful that some of the old quality would have made a comeback. I'm sorry to say that it didn't happen. Quality and quantity were worst yet. To top it all off, they RAISED THE PRICES! So now they actually want me to pay more for less! This was the last straw for me. I won't be back. So sad! Used to be my FAVORITE place to eat out. I used to go there at least twice a week. But I am officially done with this place. read more
