Scanty weekday buffet, quite an average fair except for a couple of dishes which were really good.

Ran across this place by accident and stopped by to have their chicken biriyani to go. What a Win! Seriously delicious and packed with flavor. Customer service is good and was impressed by their open window concept as you can see the chefs cooking in the restaurant. Great job and taking one star off because I haven't had a chance to try any other items on their menu or their buffet. Keep up the good work and hope this restaurant continues to thrive! read more

So, I've definitely had Indian food like this before, but never in a restaurant. It has either been in an Indian home or gathering. Translation: this place pays careful attention to spices and creating depth of flavor in their dishes. It's not uncommon at all to find whole leaves, spices and chiles in their food- and that's the way it should be in my opinion. I always go for the buffet (which they do daily) because that ensures my getting a full spectrum of flavors as each of their dishes/curries taste starkly different. So if I can pick all of them instead of one..I'm gonna go with that option. They usually have a salad, a couple of fresh fried options, (including alasanda vada (veg/bean fritters) and vegetable bajjis or samosas, all of which I'm addicted to) and then a variety of curries including both meat and vegetarian options. The methi pani puri paneer is so good it's almost frustrating. And if they have the Malbar chicken curry or Kofta curry, I wouldn't pass it up. But really, I haven't had a "blah" thing there so it's hard to go wrong. Well.. the naan has been a little hit and miss, but i'm naan too worried about it. I should mention there's a little dessert section too, but that's not really my forte- though I think I saw halwa and rice pudding, among other things. The staff are quiet, but friendly and attentive at the same time. The atmosphere is clean, quaint and not cramped. Where to start we absolutely loved this restaurant we were going to their buffet at least twice a week. We orders dinner April 15th we experience was disaster from all aspect the person that was talking the order lied to me saying that the have a new system and he have to take my credit card details I asked him that I can pay when I pick my order he said no because of the new system we can't do that so I gave him my CC information which not right, and he said it was declined twice,then I went there pickup the food he was very arrogant and Rude and above all the credit card system worked fine and same card worked fine and they were using the exact same system and I got I receipt as I always get, I pick the food and went home the food was not fresh at all we felt something wrong after that we got food poisoning very bad Diarrhea for me and my wife not sure how long this food was there for . I have never been in this restaurant, but when they showed up on the Eat24 app I immediately placed an order. And am I glad I did! In under 40 minutes Spice Creations delivered an outstanding Indian meal. We started with the Vegetable Samosas, which were beautifully crisp and filled with pungent veggies. They were delicious with both the green and the taramind chutneys. The other appetizer, Papdi Chaat, had a few too many crisp bits but the garbanzos and tomatoes swam beautifully in the yogurt. My wife had the Broccoli and Cheese Masala and she reported it was "very good". I had the Lamb Rogan Josh and on the Eat24 app I asked for it to be "super spicy". I was NOT disappointed! The kashmiri chiles provided the potent fire I needed, with the caraway flavor not overpowered. The Cucumber and Mustard Raita's creaminess tempered that fire. Plenty of rice and the Garlic and Herb Naan soaked up all of the amazing sauce. The naan was perfectly chewy with lots of heady garlic notes. (Next time we'll double the order!) And the Gulab Jamun were light and airy, swimming in sweetly floral syrup. This was easily the FINEST meal I ever had delivered. I can't wait to try this place in person! Was my main delivery Indian place for a long while, but taking 1.5 hours for a delivery is just not acceptable. I got the feeling that when I called after an hour that the guy was just seeing the order and he said it would be another 15-20 minutes before it would be ready to delivery - making me think that it takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare. I would give them 1 star - but the food is really good and in visiting the restaurant - I've always liked the staff. And this isn't really an isolated thing. I've had cold food delivered a few times as well. Just disappointing. read more

This is a solid Indian food place. They have some good standards and they also have some dishes That have a twist to things. Everything we ordered was delicious. The medium to me was very spicy. Haven't eaten any Indian since I moved here, so I went looking today and found Spice Creations. It was labeled "Hot and New," and with 4.5 stars, I had to check it out. I was scared at first when we walked in at 6 PM and found only one table of patrons, but we were seated and greeted with papad with mint and tamarind chutneys. Papad was good, but the chutneys were excellent. We got the vegetable samosas to start, and while they were twice the size of the offerings at other places, they were just as tasty. I had the chicken tikka masala spicy with garlic naan. It wasn't as spicy as I am used to, however, all the flavors you expect to find were there and the chicken was as tender as you can expect with that yogurt bath. My girlfriend had the Chattinad chicken curry spicy which was very short on the spicy, but had a wonderful coconut flavor to it. The service is the true shining star here, however. Like most Indian places I've been to, there is a team of servers constantly bringing out food, clearing plates, filling water, and everything else you'd need. Very attentive and each of them was very nice. The place is brand new and spotless. Big windows into the kitchen if you'd like to watch, and very comfortable seating. All in all, I'll be visiting Spice Creations again soon, especially with the free appetizer coupon they gave us. read more

A tremendously varied menu of delicious items fundamentally Indian with a Western twist. After reading the reviews I drove up from Dallas and it was well worth the trip! We began with Mexicali Dahi Puri, a fusion dish resembling nachos. We also enjoyed the starter portions of the Tikka Chicken, Tandoori Vegetables and Grilled Mahi Mahi. These smaller portions allowed us to sample three of the eleven Tandoori items. We also indulged our selfs with a classic curry Tikka Masala...this was the best I've ever had; including while visiting India. We will certainly be back! read more

Ordered delivery one night and it was quick and convenient. I'm not an expert with Indian cuisine but I've had tikka masala enough times to say that theirs is a little above average. Such a hidden gem! The restaurant is a little hidden from the main street but once you find it you will love it. Upscale decor that's perfect for date night or family night. Food was excellent quality. I had the tikka masala and my wife had chicken saag. We shared a rice dish that had fruit and vegetables and nuts that was very tasty. We also had the soggy donut dessert and the ice cream dessert too. Eaverything we ate was very good. I would recommend to anyone. Only drawback was it was a little pricey and I like to have a variety of stuff when I eat Indian food because I love all Indian food. Place seemed clean and looks new. The online Menu does not list prices but the prices are similar to that of other Indian establishments around the area. The meal I ordered was Gobi manchurian and a Chicken Tikki Masala with Naan and rice. The Gobi was very bland and the flavor was off. The Tikki masala was not very tasty compared to the many I have ordered around the area before. I Don't Know if they used fresh or dried spices but in my opinion, Coconut Express is much better.
