We were in the area and ordered Chicken fried rice (spicy) and egg chow mein (spicy) Service : my wife went into pick up the order, which was ready based on the text message I received. But was told it would take 12 mins. She went back in again after I showed her text message. The lady in front got it wrong and assumed it was a Uber eats order and gave wrong ETA. Picked up the order after confusion was settled. Chowmein - Disappointed to see Spaghetti was used instead of noodles. taste was okay! Chicken Fried Rice - nothing to write it was just plain tossed in chili powder. Overall, very disappointed with service and food!

Food was delicious and spicy. Garlic naan was fresh and delicious. 3 pcs in an order of gulab jamun was good value. Mango lassi was sweet and yogurty. Service was good as well. Wish the inside was more brightly lit and we got bigger plates for the main course.

I am so impressed by how delicious the Indian/Himalayan food was here! This place is seriously a hole in the wall! We drove up and weren't sure the place was open because the windows were so tinted that we couldn't see if people were inside! The ladies that worked here were friendly! We ordered the kothey chicken momo to share. They were SOOO good! I could eat a handful more! As the main dish, we chose to share the chicken tika masala (medium-spicy level). The entree came with rice, but we decided to order the garlic naan as well. The chicken tika masala was soooo good! Reminded me of my favorite Indian restaurant in Chicago. The garlic naan was fresh, buttery, and extra garlicky! Next time I will order it spicier because medium didn't have a kick to it at all! I also ordered the mango lassi, which was so mango-y! Usually places have more yogurt to it, but this was perfect! 10/10 would highly recommend this place!

The first place I tried Indian food at - amazing! My friends all love this place, every time they come to town we eat here. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The chicken tikka masala is something we always order with rice and naan. Although if you ever bring home leftovers of the chicken tikka the fat/oil separates from the curry all the time and makes it harder to eat. The gobi manchurian isn't bad. I've had their momos before and they're delicious as well.

Looks like I may have spoken too soon with the pervious review. I took my husband there for dinner, and while the momo's were great, the other dishes had issues. The gobi manchurian and daal were very salty, and the khadai chicken had just a few pieces of chicken, and tons of onions and bell peppers. It was underwhelming after such a wonderful experience before.

The food is really good here. The momos are perfect pillows of goodness, and I especially like their chili sauce option. The chicken tikka dish is one of the best you can get in this area. Chicken achari was also good, with lots of chicken and a flavorful curry. I didn't care too much for the Everest chicken or the karahi paneer as they both tasted overly spiced. Two stars off for: 1) ambiance - it's dark and can get really hot in there if the restaurant is full. Watch your head in case you hit it on one of the hanging lights from the ceiling. 2) no hand soap in the bathrooms. I asked the server for more soap and she said that they are out. How can you be out of soap for the bathroom?! They are literally in a shopping mall with a grocery store across from them, so this is inexcusable. It really grosses me out to think of all these people that use the restroom and then eat without washing their hands. Worse still, did they run out of soap in their kitchen as well?! Huge turnoff.

Worst food overall. Never had such an experience before anywhere in US Chicken fried rice - chicken was so stale and not even chewable. The worst feeling is seeing egg shells. Showed and provided the same feedback to the server. Aloo paratha - extremely thick uncooked maida chunk with a layer of potato curry in it. We showed this feedback and they brought a replacement which is again exactly the same without any change. Our child didn't eat anything. They didn't charge us for the paratha Lollipop was ok, no schezwan sauce

HIGHLY recommend the bhatmas sadeko appetizer (might be spelling that wrong). It was crunchy and so refreshing! We also tried their version of a potato salad (aloo achar), which was spicy and flavorful. These two dishes came out almost immediately, which I liked. Bullet naan was perfectly made to order. Best dish on the table was lamb curry, with tender chunks of lamb and so much flavor. I had kadai paneer which I liked (it's not a curry - more just saucy). Nothing disappointed. I am very impressed with Everest. It's a little small but beautiful inside, and very well decorated! Our server was so attentive - I wish I'd gotten her name. We constantly had water refills and she made absolutely certain that we were happy with our food.

Everest is only 10 minutes away from home and so glad I found this place. This is the most visited place since a few months after we discovered it to be close by home. If you happen to try this place then I highly recommend you to try the Himalayan food. We have dined in multiple times and also done take outs, never had a problem with food or service. The staff is always good and nice. The ambiance is decent nothing fancy. The seating space is kinda limited. Our mandate orders here are the momos, tupka and tandoori chicken. I have tried their vindaloo shrimp curry and kadai veg curry and chicken Himalayan thali. Everything is just amazing. The flavors hit the same every single time. If you dare to try something new then I'd definitely recommend you to try the Himalayan street style thali, I just can't recall the authentic name of it. Overall I love this gem in town!

This place is hands down just perfect. The food, the service and the prices are all great. You feel as though you should have to pay more for the whole experience. Get some momos, some biryani and enjoy the afternoon.

I think they kept the same decor and seating arrangement as the previous owner - still very spacious with lots of seating. It was pretty empty when we came by -- probably normal a couple of days after Thanksgiving. Pro tip: there's a section with only Chinese names, and that's where the better, more authentic dishes are. The "lunch special" side feels more Americanized. Food came out fast (about 10 minutes). My favorites were the litchi-shaped pork, 老酒蛏子, and the three-braised combo. The pork was very lean with great sweet and sour sauce. The 老酒蛏子 was fragrant, tender, and full of umami. The three-braised combo was braised just right and very flavorful; didn't need the extra sauce on the side. Only one person was working the floor (the boss lady), who was very chatty since it wasn't busy. Overall, a decent spot.

Incredible AYCE hot pot! Excellent service!…read more Super glad this place stays open late on the weekend! We were looking for a new restaurant to try. It was cold, so I wanted hot pot, but there wasn't that many that stay open late. Chocho popped up with great rating, so we decided to drive almost an hour here from Arlington. Not sure how busy the restaurant would be at 10pm, but since they have the option to put yourself on the waiting list on Yelp, I figured why not. We were so surprised to show up at 10pm with the restaurant more than 75% full. Definitely a great sign! For hot pot, there are 3 main things that are the determination factors for me: the broth, ingredients (protein/veggie choices), and dipping sauce quality. This place hit all 3 out of the park! The broths are flavorful without being heavy with sodium. Not only do they offer high quality meats, they also offer halal options. This is the only hot pot place I have been to which offers that. . Plenty of fresh veggies and seafood to choose from as well. Their sauce bar and flavor are also one of the best ones I have had. A hugeee bonus is their hot food and desserts! Never thought I'd look forward to or enjoy dessert options at a hot pot place, but Chocho is definitely a first for me. The restaurant is pretty spacious with a green/jade theme decoration. Twice now that we've been here at night and never had to wait, even tho there were always lots of cars in the parking lot. It's a shame that they don't have more locations. For now, I'd just have to look forward to come here every time we are back in DFW.

He was very attentive throughout our meal and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and had a really nice atmosphere. For my broth, I chose the spicy and pork options. I really liked that even though the hotpot is individualized, you're still able to try two different broths. However, the spicy broth wasn't quite as spicy as I would have liked. The buffet bar had plenty of options to choose from, but I was a little disappointed by the lack of fish ball variety, since that's one of my favorite things to have with hotpot. Aside from those two things, I had a really good experience here. The service was great, the atmosphere was beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the ice cream cones they brought out at the end of our meal. It was such a nice and fun way to finish everything off!

And the food is authentic. Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you.
