All veg Indian. Really nice restaurant - felt fancier than some places I've been to. The chai and snacks were nice to start off with. I had the thali and it was huge! Soooo many options and all were delicious. The menu was really large and I need to go back with my friend who can explain everything to me. I really want to try more. But, if you want a good sampling - thali is the best way.

As someone who is always on the lookout for authentic Indian food, especially the kind that reminds you of home, Bharat Bhavan had been on my radar for a while. A place that promises a mix of South Indian classics along with Indo-Chinese favorites always piques my curiosity. So we decided to stop by and give it a try. Located in Frisco, Texas it is fairly easy to find. Parking was also manageable, which is always a plus. The place has a casual and welcoming vibe, nothing overly fancy, but comfortable and inviting. Even on a Tuesday, the place was packed. Fortunately, we had called and reserved a place. The décor leans toward a traditional Indian restaurant feel with a simple setup that keeps the focus on the food. We were soon seated and provided with Fryums, which we finished within a minute. The server wad happy to answer questions about the menu. We decided to explore a variety of items from different sections of the menu and the food came out at a reasonable pace. We ordered: 1 Mushroom ghee roast 1 Baby corn manchurian 1 Onion chilli uttapam 1 Benne dosa 1 Chole bhature 1 Set dosa with salna 1 Jackfruit biryani The 'Mushroom ghee roast', was truly excellent with great flavors. The mushrooms were nicely coated in the rich, spicy ghee roast masala, delivering that bold South Indian punch. Next came the 'Baby corn Manchurian',, a classic Indo-Chinese favorite. The baby corn had a good crunch and the sauce had that familiar tangy-spicy flavor you associate with hakka cuisine. For the dosa section, we tried the 'benne dosa', which had a nice buttery flavor and crisp texture- simple yet satisfying. The 'Set dosa with Salna' was soft and fluffy, and the salna added a nice aromatic gravy element to the dish. The 'Onion chilli uttapam' was thick, soft, and generously topped with brown onions, making it a comforting bite. All the above South Indian dishes were great but what blew us away was the 3 chutneys: Tamarind, Spicy Tomato Chilli and Green Peanut. They were absolutely delicious and took the food to another level. The Sambhar however was decent but not that great. Moving to the North Indian side, the 'Chole bhature' came with fluffy bhature and well-spiced chole. We absolutely loved the depth of flavor. Finally, the 'Jackfruit biryani' was an interesting and enjoyable dish. The jackfruit worked surprisingly well as a meat substitute, absorbing the biryani spices nicely and adding a unique texture. However, some of us found it to be bit more on the tangy side. To Foodies: If you enjoy exploring a wide range of Indian flavors, from South Indian breakfast classics to Indo-Chinese appetizers and hearty North Indian dishes, this place is worth checking out. The menu offers variety, and it's a good spot if you want to try multiple styles of Indian cuisine in one sitting. To Management: You have a solid and diverse menu that covers many Indian favorites. Continuing to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation will go a long way. A few standout dishes highlighted on the menu or recommendations from staff could also help first-time visitors navigate the wide selection. Overall Rating: 8.4 / 10 Signing off: Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie

Reached here at opening time and ordered for our regular fare - masala dosa for me and Plain dosa for the better half. The dosa were served soon and Carly as we like them - hot, crispy and with freshly made chutneys ! No doubt these are the best in North Dallas! Service has been stellar by Bhanudas who is always anticipating our requests and her service always a step above! Kudos to her! Ambience was quiet and welcoming !

The wait time here is far too long for the quality of food served. While the Benne Dosa was okay, the rest of the meal was a major disappointment. We tried the new Royal Platter on the waiter's recommendation, but it was flavorless and lacked seasoning. To make matters worse, the spinach rolls were served ice-cold. Three different types of paneer kebabs were included, but none had any marinade or salt.

This is our new breakfast spot for Idly & Dosa whenever we have a craving. We have been here twice for breakfast we usually go early so getting a seat is not a problem at all. We have tried their Idly's , Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, Medu Vada & Rava Masala Dosa. Everything we have tried we loved it . Their variety of chutneys given on the table are also very good. Food quality & freshness is very nice , service is also pretty quick sometimes it's too fast by the time you are halfway the other dish it's already ready to be placed on the table. I wish they can pace that.... Loved their coffee too. Bharat Bhavan has ample parking, seating inside is very spacious , nicely decorated & very well maintained from hygiene perspective. We enjoy coming here will try their Thali next time.

I heard it was good waiting time of above 30 mins, luckily i went on a sunday morning and by the time i was there, it was only 2 mins wait time for us. Ambience is good and so is food. We ordered beetroot rava masala dosa which was crunchy upto my taste bud, other items included idli vada combo, ghee dosa, chole bhature, biryani, corn bhel chat, gobhi munchurian, bajji etc. Only drawback was that their to go box lids were too delicate n broke while packing

This restaurant was PACKED when I went. My friends and I had to wait like 15 mins to get seated. I do like how organized the staff was. Every member had tablets to take care of the customers. I thought Bharat Bhavan was on the more flavorful side of the Indian restaurants I've been to (this is a good thing). I especially enjoyed the "Sev Puri". The Masala Dosa was HUGE! I couldn't finish and had to take half of it home. My friends enjoyed their Thali Meals. The atmosphere can be loud since there are so many people inside.

Came here back in Oct '25 and so far the dishes were delicious, but my cocktail was not. There was a taste of something synthetic. I let my companions order the food and they are all excellent. The okace was clean and inviting.

Tasty food, but service and organization needs improvement! Ambiance: We arrived at 5:00 on a Sunday and there was already a line for seating! We were luckily seated quickly and the interior was nice and clean. Service: Lacking! Our food was served and we had to ask several people for plates. When we asked someone to take an empty plate we were told no and they just walked away. Servers didn't seem very familiar with the menu and couldn't answer basic questions about dishes. Food: - Masala Papad Chaat: Incredibly soggy. Papad was not fresh and crunchy. Skip! - Samosa Chaat: Filling and flavorful! Would order over the masala papad. - Paneer Momos: Tasty paneer filling! - Veg Manchurian Noodles: The best dish! Spicy in the best way with chewy, savory noodles. - Saag Corn Curry: Delicious! Loved the sweet corn that balanced out spicy spinach.

We really enjoyed the Chana Dahi Puri and Pachhimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulao as they were our favorites. The Masala Dosa and Mixed Vegetable Paneer Dum Biryani were tasty as well. Portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was just lovely. 10/10 would come again.

Great ambiance, quick service and great food! Expect long wait lines but it's worth the wait. We got paneer ghee roast, curry leaf mushroom chilli and Donne biryani, everything was excellent!! Highly recommend this place!

Definitely check out their rava masala onion dosa, baby corn Manchuria, curry paneer, and veg thali. The portion sizes are huge and I highly recommend ending your meal with the filter coffee. The service was great but the wait times are long so I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. It's a nice restaurant to sit down and the ambiance is very nice.

We were here on Sankranthi day for dinner and enjoyed the food. Place has very welcoming ambiance and lot of seating! Ww got there early and were seated immediately. Ordered one Puri with Bombay Sagu(aloo curry), 70mm Dosa and Lasuni Gobi My daughter loved the puri as she always does. Lasuni gobi did not look like the picture on the menu, but tasted good! 70mm dosa was good for 2 adults and a kid, it comes with plenty of chutneys and you can request for more. My only compliant with dosa it was little on crispy side, I wish they ask us how we want our Our waitress Nandita was very attentive and constantly checking if we need anything else. All in all great experience. Would go back to try the other stuff.

The restaurant increased the automatic gratuity from 18% to 20% on each split bill, then still asked for an additional tip on top of the already-included gratuity. That felt misleading and excessive. To make matters worse, I have a severe egg allergy. I specifically asked the manager if the eggs could be removed from my meal, and they agreed. Yet I was still charged for the eggs that I couldn't eat because of my allergy. Between the unexpected gratuity increase, being asked to tip again, and being charged for food I couldn't have due to a documented allergy, this experience left a very bad impression. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant based on how these issues were handled.

I love how you can see everything being made right there and you can tell they care about presentation too. They basically build your burger out in the front and saw the cook personally adjust the bun to make it centered so you know they care here. Food wise, I got the original wulf burger with an extra patty making it 3 patties total and I also got a side of extra crispy sweet potato fries. Only thing bringing the score down was the pickles. Don't get me wrong. Pickles on a burger aren't my thing but if I do eat it, it really depends on the type of pickle. I personally don't like sweet pickles in general and if it's in my burger it throws off my appetite. I did order with no pickles but they forgot to keep it out. With that being said, I think they use the sweet butter pickles which I do not like at all but with taking them out myself, I wasn't able to taste it at all which was a plus. Burger itself was amazing and well seasoned. I won't say it rocked my world because I've had better but this one was a solid 8.5/10. Sweet potato fries were top notch as well. I think they put sugar on it but wasn't overly sweet because I think it was also salted. Nice balance. I always get my fries extra crispy/well done at different places and when they have sweet potato fries, they almost always burn them but not this time. They were perfectly crispy and soft inside. 10/10 fries. I got two sauces. The house sauce and the sriracha ranch. House sauce was 10/10. I think it's like garlic mustard aioli and it was too good. I don't like mustard on my burger but the tangyness was super subtle and paired well. Sriracha ranch was okay. 4/10 because it was a little runny and honestly tasted a little watered down. If I could go back, I'd just stick to the house sauce. Overall experience was great and would definitely come back. Great service, staff, food and atmosphere. Just watching the food being cooked/made and smelling the burger just makes you want it more. GOOD EATS AND GET THAT MEAT

I ordered a mix of appetizers to start: vada pav, bhel puri, papri and aloo tikki chaat. Everything was genuinely good, but what stood out to me was how each chaat had its own distinct flavor. Usually chaat dishes can start tasting similar, but here they made sure each one had its own identity, which I really appreciated. For the main course, I tried the butter paneer with naan, and it was delicious. The curry wasn't overpowering at all, it had just the right balance of spices, flavor, and aroma. Everything came together really well, and the naan tasted fresh, which made it even better. Also tried the Hakka noodles, which were probably my least favorite. They weren't bad at all just a little plain and not very spicy. But to be fair, I'm not the biggest noodle person, so that might just be my bias. The chole bhature was another highlight. The chole itself was good, but the bhature was huge, fresh, and honestly so satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite things I ordered.
