The food is excellent and the staff are always friendly. We've had both a la carte and the lunch menu. They can turn down the spice for people like myself so I can enjoy the flavor without breaking into a sweat (not on the buffet tho') I've had takeout on several occasions. It's always been ready within 20 minutes of me placing the order - Friday/Saturday evenings. I like the buffet, it's always fresh, and they bring out hot fresh naan bread to your table. Chef made very delicious food. Very fresh flavors, loved the spices on our Biryani. The Laal Maas (Rajasthani goat dish) was very tender and flavorful. Was there for lunch for the buffet, only 3-4 items were available for lunch. Customers had to wait for those 3-4 items to be replenished. On top of that was charged full price (over$10 ) for eating 3-4 buffet items, while the other 10 empty buffet trays lay empty with crumbs of food. Customers would watch the cook bring out items so as to get in line but we're disappointed because it was the same 3-4 items. I will not come back. read more

We went to the lunch Buffett so I can try a little of everything. The price was a little steep to me but everything was really good. Fantastic addition to the Allen dining scene! Wife and I stopped by for a late lunch/dinner today. We sampled numerous menu items and every one was nothing short of superb. We started with the grilled Mahi Mahi (appetizer portion) from the tandoor menu. I am a seafood snob and can tell you that Mahi is a tricky fish to handle; it must be extremely fresh and it dries out very quickly on the grill and gets chewy if even slightly overcooked. These guys nailed it in every way. The spice on the fish was incredible yet subtle enough to let the mild flavor of the tender fresh Mahi shine through perfectly. We ordered the mixed grill as one of our entrees so we could sample several other meats from the tandoor menu (I highly recommend this; especially if you are new to Indian cuisine). Today the mixed grill came with shrimp, kabob (ground lamb mix), more Mahi Mahi, and two styles of tandoor chicken. All were excellent. We also ordered the Fish Saag from the "Curry with a Twist" menu; medium spiced with brown rice. This dish is an explosion of flavor with large chunks of Tilapia stewed in a green sauce spiced with curry. Heaven in a bowl! The inside of the restaurant is still a bit of a work in progress as the bar is not complete but it's squeaky clean and unpretentious; perfect "neighborhood restaurant" ambiance, We will be regulars here. Excellent Indian food! Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Service was fast and courteous. Very family friendly--my 4 and 7 year old loved their naan pizza and sahi paneer. My husband and I enjoyed potato fritters and vegetable samosa appetizers- the spices were amazing. My husband loved his grilled mahi mahi, and my Dal Bukhara was delicious. Some interesting notes and idk if this is because of the fusion - maxicali dahi Puri uses tostitos scoops and the ras malai is actually ras golla with sweet milk and nuts on top. You have got to be kidding me! No rice or naan with an entrée? What a joke. I have eaten at over 20 Indian restaurants in DFW and nearly 100 across the US. This is the most expensive and marginal food ever. Two orders of chicken tikka masala, rice and an order of garlic naan, $36 for take out. What a joke! The size of the order was near half what I am accustom to receiving and the sauce had the consistence of marinara sauce, not creamy at all. Only 6 chunks of chicken in both orders. I thought it may have been an off night, so I gave them a second chance. This time only 2 orders of chicken tikka, $27.. no rice or naan. The same thing again. On both visits only one couple in whole place on a Friday night at 8pm. They will be closed soon I'm sure. I will never return and I'm sure I'm not the only one. read more

Excellent lunch Buffet. Way better than most restaurants in the northern suburbs of Dallas. 7-8 different dishes with rice, fresh naans at the table. The two types of tandoori chicken were well marinated and tasted awesome! Excellent paneer tikka masala and bhindi (okra) masala as well. We were so happy to have an Indian restaurant open up close to our home! We eaten Indian food in numerous North American and UK cities with our favorite being an extremely popular (now at 4 locations) place in London - lines out the door and down the street from 5:00 PM on. Spice Creation has now taken our #1 spot. Unfortunately, it is tucked in behind a Firestone so can be over-looked and although the dining room is a bit too modern (stale) for my taste, it is extremely clean. The food, on the other hand, is amazing! Be courageous, ask for their suggestions - you won't be disappointed. read more
