The main point of this review is Dr. Gross did not give me a prescription that corrected my vision. He was too bored with trying to get the exact numbers. He rushed the exam and when I had the glasses made they were not the correct magnification for distance vision. I wasted more than my time.

I had a zoom with this lady that filled in for Hilary D. Last month and when I entered the zoom it kept saying wait for host to let you in, which she never did. I took screenshots as well as entered the zoom on not one but two devices to see what is going wrong. I emailed her the screenshots to prove I am in fact actively in the correct zoom link from the email. She replied to my emails twice in a row with no text just the link to the zoom meeting. Not a word along with the link though. I am on high doses of two medications I could have serious medical issues if abruptly stopped taking so out of concern for my health I then decided to actually bike a mile to go in person! The kind organized man at the reception desk informed me she had written in her notes that she tried calling me which is dishonest as she did not try to call me. I tried to call her but got the P.A.L. voicemail. The receptionist guy gets an explanation out of her. Turns out my email address got auto filled as the name of me the participant which was Hecate Positivia . Having severe A.D.H.D. I had glanced at this and just rushed through into the zoom. Which is the nature of my diagnosis I don't slow down to correct or fully read stuff. If she responded to not one but 2 of my emails how didn't she know it's me? She tells me, "Oh, I have so many names for my zoom's todayI couldn't figure out who it was. She failed to communicate any of that to me by phone or email. " No response as to wetherits possible for me to meet with some one else with more patience and better communication skills. I responded by saying, " No need for investigation on my part, when my cell broke they offered to give a new phone number and phone for 100 bucks less so despite the inconvenience I took the cheaper option. They then placed the new number on 65 dollar plan, 35 bucks more than my last account. Being a single mom and with my tuition cost at Penns Foster I couldn't pay this month. Now it's disconnected. I asked the lady answering emails why she didn't email me when she seen two numbers were disconnected instead she gave me an attitude, " oh, yeah, you may want to investigate that?" Really a lack of interpersonal communication skills, patience with people who struggle with mental health diagnosis, terrible customer service from the email response chic and fill in for Hilary. They later lied and claimed it was Ketamine, despite Ketamine being a clear solution and not brown. Since I was knocked unconscious and arrived to Beverly Hospital unconscious I received a CAT SCAN. It revealed I had basal ganglia calcifications which were deemed "insignificant" despite there being plenty of literature and case studies proving it is significant. The psychiatric nurse assigned to me, Whitney Gibson, only spoke to me on three separate occasions over a three week period. The psychiatrist assigned to me according to my medical arm band, Dr. Guprit S. Lamba, NEVER spoke to me once in the three weeks I was there despite me repeatedly asking to speak to him. My social worker, James, only spoke to me with Whitney present. Each time Whitney Gibson spoke to me she accused me of comitting a crime I didn't commit. When I refused to falsely confess to wrongdoing she would angrily storm off and then refuse to speak to me for another week. I signed a 72 hour release form when I arrived which wasn't honored. I signed a release for them to contact my prior PCP, Dr. Zhuri, and they NEVER contacted him over three weeks. I signed a release for my PCP before him, Dr. Loughran, and they never contacted him. I signed a release for my prior psychiatrist, Dr. Ramirez, and they never contacted her. The three weeks I was held there against my will I was refused the antidepressant, Lexapro, which I had been on for TWENTY years prior. They also refused the Ativan I had been taking for twenty years for anxiety and insomnia. They refused to prescribe Ambien which I have been taking for twenty years for insomnia and then staff would be mad at me for being awake at 3AM. They denied me the pain medication I had been taking for a severe C5-C6 cervical spine bulge for over four years. This caused me to go through withdrawals from multiple medications all at the same time. Whitney Gibson repeatedly insisted I take antipsychotics I had never been on previously like Zyprexa, which I then had an allergic reaction to. Then she insisted I take Invega, another antipsychotic. This was despite Parkinson's running in my family, so Dopamine Antagonists would be contraindicated and ill advised. The Invega caused me to become extremely confused and severely paranoid. Everyone on floor two, which consisted of around 20 individuals, appeared to be on one antipsychotic or another regardless if they were necessary or not. Many individuals were being given Seroquel for sleep, despite it not being a sleep aid. It is an antipsychotic which happens to be extremely sedating. Using it for sleep is an off-lable use and shouldn't be prescribed to everyone, especially if they are predisposed to Parkinson's. Whitney Gibson wrongly assumed my Biochemistry degree from UNH was a delusion, despite this being VERY easy to confirm by asking my fiancé of four years, or my parents. She also had me arrested at discharge, and tried to trick me into signing a statement that I wouldn't sue them for their treatment of me while held there for three weeks against my will. I strongly feel Bayridge should be investigated as a whole for their overuse of antipsychotics on most to all patients regardless of mental issue. Antipsychotics have been proven to cause structural changes to the brain the longer they are prescribed, and they shouldn't be prescribed for no reason, or out of laziness and a desire to sedate everyone to make them pliable and confused. Whitney Gibson and Dr. Lamba should be investigated specifically and in my opinion fired for their behavior towards me, lack of care in general, and the permanent damage they have caused me. I now have Tardive Dyskinesia and PTSD as a result of my stay there. I was also recently diagnosed with a chiari malformation of my cerebellum which I wasn't born with. I initially came to 280 Union St for lab work, where I was informed that the lab technician had called out sick and was directed to go across the street to 279 Union St. Upon arriving there, I found a large number of patients waiting. A supervisor then told me to return to 280 Union St, assuring me that the lab technician would be coming. I followed those instructions and returned to 280 Union St, where I waited for over an hour. Unfortunately, no lab technician ever arrived, and I received inconsistent and conflicting information from staff. In total, I wasted approximately 1.5 hours of my time and ultimately had to leave without completing my lab work. This level of disorganization and lack of clear communication is very disappointing. I would appreciate an explanation of what happened and how you plan to prevent this from occurring in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

"And let's sign a contract that I will prescribe and you will take it as prescribed." Like I am a teenager signing a drinking contract with my mom. Get out here. That's what the instructions on the bottle are. So, if the lowest dose of .5mg doesn't help I just have to suffer until...I can reach you and get an appointment so you can say - no, you can't take a whole mg? Even though everywhere says 1 mg is appropriate. Do they like to see people suffer, or is Ritvo on some power trip that she would deny medication to someone suffering as punishment because they disobeyed her orders? Under the guise of "safety." When you are prescribing under the recommended dose and your patient is suffering AND running out early, you just...do nothing. What is this some sort of test: Will patient suffer at the alter of my instructions, rather than defy them? Reach out for help. But not here! They just make up whatever they want and don't care about helping patients.
