The vegetables, seafood and meat were all very fresh looking and tasted great. Food came out in a timely manner and we cooked it to our own preferences. Nice little gem when traveling to Midland. One note is that because it is a bbq & hot pot place, don't wear anything you don't want smelling like bbq meat because you will smell like that when you're done. Nice food and great service. My husband and I went to the new K Pot place this weekend...and a lot of other people had the same idea we did because we ended up waiting 1.5 hours to be seated. They did have a digital waitlist through Yelp and text reminders, so that was nice. We were able to leave, go have a drink at Hoop and Barrel, then come back in time to get seated. Once we were seated, service was quick and friendly. Our waitress was Krystal. She was lovely and super helpful. Our hot pots came out quickly, as well as our ingredients. (I loved the convenience of having the tablet at the table to order whenever you want.) The meats and veggies were fresh; the dumplings had been clearly pre frozen. The experience of cooking it at the table was super fun and a little messy. Also the spicy is actually super spicy (and I have a high spice tolerance.) I would definitely go here again, but I would probably not go on the weekend to avoid the wait. read more

Food was great!! Server gave himself a $20 tip when we said we are tipping cash. He told us our total without us seeing what we were being charged for. So I asked for a receipt. He took longer than expected to bring the receipt. Our total was $126.08 before I asked for the receipt. When he finally gives it to us our total was $103. 89 He gave himself a tip and I caught him. Do NOT just pay without knowing what they're charging!! Very disappointed and will not return . Sadly we tip very well. He would've gotten over $20 from us yet he wanted more!! Long story short, food is good, price is too high. Took an hour to get seated, and the instructions were unclear due to the waitress speaking too softly and the music being too loud. One of the two grills at our table didn't work. The price was egregious. My wife, 4yo, and I cost $116. My cousin paid for her meal and it was $60+. Waitress stopped refilling drinks halfway through our meal. We were having to flag down busboys. When you ordered food, the people responsible for that were FAST. Literal seconds after you ordered on the tablet and they were there. A lot of options, and the food was great. We do hotpot at home so we won't be going back. We had kbbq spicy beef bulgogi, beef brisket, steak (liked hanger more than regular), and the smoked pork belly. Sauces were good and I'm glad they had kimchi and sliced daikon. We loved having the option to either choose the Korean bbq or the hot pot.We chose the hot pot with a party of 5.I liked the fact that each person had their own individual hot pots so we didn't all have to choose the same flavors.Its an all you can eat but we were told that if we ordered more than we could eat we would be charged for what's leftover.The menu was great as it has a variety of meats and veggies and extras.The only downside to the choices is the portions.The meats came 5 small pieces to a plate so I had to end up ordering 4 for us to split.The vegetables were the same as well.The portions were just too small.Other then those few minor things we had a great experience and the food was delicious. read more

We visited KPOT on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. We chose the Korean BBQ only and we were not disappointed! The waitress explained the process to us and made some recommendations. I'm not much of a Korean BBQ fan but this place knocked it out of the park. The food was fabulous with tons of options for everyone. The service was excellent. Aaron patiently explained the process to us and made wonderful suggestions (which I ended up loving). The atmosphere was fun. Great for any vibes like family, friends, a work outing, or just to grab a cold adult beverage. The price is a little higher but you definitely get what you pay for: quality food and quality service. Our server was Keelakarn P. I have never seen her before since we have went and omg, we told her to turn the heat up and instead of just turning it up, she picked up the "grill" with all our food on it, to check if it was on, AND IT WASENT. Then she turned the heat up after and I was like "did you think we were lying" so whatever, I let it slide and we would cook the meat and she'd walk by and press a button and leave. And guess what, it went down, so we told her again, it's not cooking and SHE MOVED OUR FOOD ON THE GRILL AROUND WHAT THE TOOK SHE USES TO PICK THE GRILL UP AND THEN PICKED THE GRILL UP WITH THE FOOD AGAIN AND SOME OF THE FOOD FELL AT THE BOTTOM and worst part, THE GRILL WAS OFF, and I was like just turn it up, it's not that hard. All our water had no ice in them, and at the end to pay we asked for ice cream and she got so annoyed so she got it and whatever, and then it came time to pay, she showed me the screen and it's automatically have an %18 tip and she said "sign here" so I signed and before I could press "no tip" she moved it away. Then it was my mom's turn to pay and she did the same thing but my mom pressed no tip first and then paid. Yet, the server didn't show my mom the amount so my mom had to ask "how much is it?" While handing her card over to the server and the server didn't answer until the card went through then told her the amount. Her bill was $75, and she had $90 on her cashapp and it declined. But it charged my mom the original price the $75 and said she had $8 left to pay so I paid the rest and we were confused cause like how'd it decline??? I love going to eat Kpot with family and the other servers are always a joy to talk to but this server was different. The food was great, when the grill actually cooked the meat all the way. Unprofessional wasting our time with our waiting list. They removed us from the waiting list due to the restaurant closing in an hour, even though we have been waiting past the two hour waiting period. They also failed to inform us of the fact that we could not be seated until it was too late to go anywhere else to eat. There was no update on an accurate time frame of when we would be seated. The only update we had received for the estimated time to be seated was off by over an hour and a half. read more
