I had been having some pain in one tooth and went into the appointment pretty sure that they were going to have to pull every tooth out of my head and that I would have to pay with my first born child. I cannot even begin to express what a wonderful experience I had with the staff in Dr. Jacko's office. Within the first 5 minutes of the check up, Mrs. Bailey -- the hygienist-- had put all of my fears to rest. She gave me lots of positive feedback about my teeth and was SO FRIENDLY and just awesome. There was ZERO pain the entire visit. Seriously, somehow she even managed to do the part of the appointment where they stick the metal pick in between your tooth and gum without making it hurt AT ALL. Dr. Jacko was equally awesome. After looking at my x-rays it was determined that I only had two little cavities that can easily be fixed. Keep in mind that the south amherst dentist had, ten years prior, told me that I needed all kinds of crowns and root canals, etc. I was able to see the x-rays that Dr. Jacko's office took, and my mind was blown. I didn't even have to pay anything because my insurance covers it! This was a fabulous experience. I cannot believe that I just associated a trip to the dentist with the word fabulous, but the shoe fits.

I was displeased to have received a bill for services regularly covered by plan fully. The dental office made no comment on my insurance when I registered and there is likely no legal requirement to disclose in all instances (Though if you have Liberty insurance, they will leave that network on Jan 1, 2026 AND that was displayed in their office). I find that ethically ambiguous. Who wants to pay extra for services that are already covered? Remember that no business is truly concerned with your welfare when it comes to money. Question everything before you decide to buy!
