However, the Sinick dentist told me I needed a dental implant after spending about a minute with me, with zero explanations, and their treatment plan was a very large amount of money (over $7,000) I got a second opinion. This dentist spent much more time with me, actually showed me the x-rays, and offered less expensive options such as a bridge that Sinick did not. Additionally, the cost of the implant was less. Needless to say I will be switching

I personally have a lot of anxiety surrounding dentist visits, but she made sure I knew what was happening each step of the way and answered my endless slew of questions without ever seeming impatient haha. Through the advice of my financial helper, I started going to Dr. Sturkey. He is great!!!! He is very patient and listens to my needs without cutting me off (which my old dentist did). Dr. Sturkey is professional, his office is clean and his staff friendly. He never recommends outlandish services (again, like my previous dentist). I like this place. The only reason I am giving Dr. Robert Sturkey 4/5 stars is that his office is some times hard to get on the phone. But, if you leave a message, they always call back. The procedure didn't take long at all, I only bleed for a few hours afterwards. I am writing this review on day two I have very mild pain and that is saying some thing when i just had a tooth dug out of my bone. I'm really pleased I chose this dentist he was great. Its sad nobody has wrote reviews for him and he is so close to retirement. Thanks very much for the best tooth extraction experience I have ever had. I had a terrible experience with another dentist and ended up coming to Dr. Pires for his opinion…read more He told me I didn't need the $3k surgery (with full anesthesia!) that the other dentist told me I absolutely had to have. Dr. Pires was very kind and relatable, he was very calm and my fears and told me that he had a little one around the age of mine. His staff was very friendly and competent, and he saved me from a pricey, expensive surgery. He completely fixed my issue in 5-10 minutes with a simple laser procedure that was significantly less invasive and expensive. I would highly recommend Dr Pires if you ever need a periodontist. I've seen a few, and he's the best in NE Ohio, hands down.
