I was nervous at first because all I'd ever done before was shoot static targets at the range. I wanted to challenge myself so I started researching instructors. After looking at the reviews and reading Jeff's bio, I knew this was the place to get the instruction I needed. I started off with an open range day and after meeting a good group of people and getting to interact with the instructors, I got to fix some details in my shooting right on the line and the logic of why to do it that way. Since then I've taken the close quarter carbine class, and once again to say I learned a lot would be an understatement. I plan to taking as many courses as I can. Had my 19 and 15 year old sons with me at Jeff's Precision Rifle Class. Jeff was well prepared and had a great course set up for us at the CCC range. Perfect mix between classroom and on-range time. We all were able to correct a couple of bad habits which yielded immediate results. Expert teachers that didn't overwhelm the class with kinetic calculations and bullet weights to the micro-gram. I've taken a couple courses from Jeff and they have been worth the investment 100%. I'm an experienced shooter and I'm learning things in each class that were vital for me to improve my skills. I was a YouTube shooter meaning that I learned to do what I do through YouTube. Well, nothing beats real training from real professionals. Someone correcting you and training you live. I'm a beginner and had only been to an indoor range once. Jeff and his team were very knowledgeable and professional. Also patient. I had a hard time with the sights but they kept coming back and helping me adjust my head and my stance. The day went really quickly and we had fun. I would take another class from Jeff after some practice on my own. They kept reiterating the rules of safety which helped reinforce them in my mind. read more

Recommended by a friend for LTC class. The instruction was excellent and really took the time to address all the class questions. The facilities were close to the DFW metro, very convenient. The class format was excellent with great mix of discussion and lecture. The atmosphere was pleasant and had a very community feel to the whole thing. Great training! You will feel comfortable as a beginner or if you have more experience. Jeff has a pretty gnarly background with being a cop, swat, pro shooter, etc. But he actually knows how to interact with people and is a good teacher as well!
