They got it done in one day and we even had an issue with one thermostat's wiring (it was an us problem because this thermostat took batteries) and I do believe a lesser person would've just left us with the problem but these guys worked through it for an hour and was able to successfully get it installed. We later moved out of state and rented our Henderson house for seven years. We had a few HVAC problems over the years, and we always called Lake City. They would bill me and provide an excellent explanation of each repair. We moved back to Henderson last year. Our large AC unit stopped working yesterday evening. Amazingly, after the hottest day of the year so far, 111 degrees, Julie at Lake City was able to get a technician out this morning for us. Adam opened up a side compartment on our big AC unit. He immediately said it looked like the capacitor should be replaced. He said we had an unusually sized dual capacitor, but he had an alternative that would work just fine at the same cost. He thoroughly explained our unit's situation and what likely caused the capacitor to fail. He fully answered every question I had in a manner I could understand! Adam was very professional but kind enough to be friendly and pet our extremely playful Shih Tzu. While Adam was excellent, I must mention how good Julie has been to work with over the years. She has quickly gotten answers to any technical questions I might have and has always worked to get a technician out as fast as possible. Lake City's prices seem to be quite fair. I really like that I've never been pushed into buying or repairing something I didn't need or want. I've always trusted their technicians, which is very important when you don't quite understand how an HVAC system works. Nobody likes to call a repairman, but it's comforting to have confidence in knowing exactly who to call. Lake City Air Conditioning falls into that category for us!

It…read moreunfortunately conked out in the middle of the day, strained daily by the extreme high temperatures...so hot this summer! Looked on Facebook and also checked with my local Handyman... It looked like Lance with Knight AC & Heating was repeatedly and highly recommended. So I called Lance on his cell phone at 5:36 PM thinking I'd request an appointment for maybe the next day or so. He told me that he was indeed booked up, but that he could be out actually within an hour! He arrived within the hour as promised and spent a decent amount of time up on my roof inspecting my unit. He was able to make the necessary corrections and give me some professional recommendations too. He was extremely honest, fair and reasonable. When talking with him, I could easily see why he had such a great reputation. Being fairly new to Boulder City, I'm so glad to now have a "go to" HVAC guy, and will absolutely call only Lance whenever I have any kind of AC or heating needs. We have had excellent experiences with Nevada Residential Services (NRS) in the past with…read morereplacement of our AC units. When NRS offered to inspect our water system, we jumped at the offer. When you live in the desert, you can't take any chances with your AC or water systems. Both can turn into expensive issues very quickly. During our inspection, Arturo with NRS noticed some corrosion and possible past leak at our water heater connections. Chances are these connections are original to our 2004 condo and since we have neighbors downstairs, we want to avoid any leaks that could result in issues that could affect both units. The NRS Team presented us with an estimate that we were pleased with and we scheduled Arturo for today. Arturo called ahead when he was enroute (we appreciate that) and was onsite in no time. Arturo took the time to explain what he would be doing to eliminate a possible issue and make our system more secure. Changing out the old hoses (over 20 years old) and connections to solid copper piping and new connections gives us the peace of mind that you need with plumbing. He also configured it so should we need to replace the hot water heater, the new copper fittings will be easy to disconnect & reconnect. Arturo did an amazing job, kept us informed as he worked and the work area was spotless when he was finished. A true gentleman & professional. Many THANKS to Arturo and the NRS Team for spotting a potential plumbing issue and providing a great solution. That's what every homeowner expects. Predatory pricing practices and upselling. I asked the…read moretechnician if he would give me a quote to install an APCOX as I am a cancer survivor and immunocompromised. We also lost our furniture due to last home making my whole family sick from mold in the HVAc due to leaks. I know the APCOX pricing wholesale, the model I looked at is approx $ 900 dollars. I know the company needs to mark up to install and make a living but the quote I got was way beyond the normal mark up and upselling. The tech quoted that me I needed a duct clean on a 2 year old home, and put a quote for an April Aire that I did not ask for nor discuss into the quote in addition to the APCO X. The quote was an eye popping $11,000 dollars! Not only is this insulting to my intelligence but when I called the company they didn't care.

I received an automated booking verification via the email and phone number I had provided. I received an email and text informing me of the name of the tech along with a photo of him, and verification of appointment day and time frame. I received email and text reminders the night before and the morning of the scheduled appointment. Yannick was on time, personable, and professional. He answered questions I had and then performed the tune up service. Payment for services rendered was handled upon completion of the service using a credit card reader. He emailed me the invoice and receipts at the time of the transaction. Again, I'm very pleased with services rendered.
