I first used Lake City Air Conditioning during the summer of 2015. I was so impressed that it was one of the first Yelp reviews I ever wrote. We later moved out of state and rented our Henderson house for seven years. We had a few HVAC problems over the years, and we always called Lake City. They would bill me and provide an excellent explanation of each repair. We moved back to Henderson last year. Our large AC unit stopped working yesterday evening. Amazingly, after the hottest day of the year so far, 111 degrees, Julie at Lake City was able to get a technician out this morning for us. Adam opened up a side compartment on our big AC unit. He immediately said it looked like the capacitor should be replaced. He said we had an unusually sized dual capacitor, but he had an alternative that would work just fine at the same cost. He thoroughly explained our unit's situation and what likely caused the capacitor to fail. He fully answered every question I had in a manner I could understand! Adam was very professional but kind enough to be friendly and pet our extremely playful Shih Tzu. While Adam was excellent, I must mention how good Julie has been to work with over the years. She has quickly gotten answers to any technical questions I might have and has always worked to get a technician out as fast as possible. Lake City's prices seem to be quite fair. I really like that I've never been pushed into buying or repairing something I didn't need or want. I've always trusted their technicians, which is very important when you don't quite understand how an HVAC system works. Nobody likes to call a repairman, but it's comforting to have confidence in knowing exactly who to call. Lake City Air Conditioning falls into that category for us! read more

I called in to Lake City air for a tenants air conditioner that was blowing cold air, but barely blowing. I explained that on the telephone to the representative and they sent out the technician. The technician said it's blowing cold air, but barely blowing and he disappeared and sent a bill for $85. I called Modern-aire and jeramy came and cleaned evaporator condenser.. Now it blows better and cools the apartment I did not understand why the first technician left without fixing it or any options for the tenant. He left them with the apartment air 82°, which is not satisfactory. I wish Lake City air would call me back so we can figure out where we went wrong. read more

I have to start with WOW!!!!!! Everyone should run there business like they do . Great customer service and great prices. I called them to install a thermostat and they scheduled me in the same day in fact it was just a few hours after I called . I know their busy it's hot as hell outside and I'm sure A/C's are down all over town. Anyway Jimmy came in and banged it out in no time he also went the extra mile to help me set up the WIFI and program it . While he was here he noticed the wire wasn't very cold we started talking and he asked about my power bill " that's extremely high" he asked if he could take a look on the roof I said sure go for it . Well what he found was the outdoor fan motor was installed by the last company we had our incorrectly. When he kicked the air back on in minutes there was A considerable difference in the air temperature coming through the vents. Hello! I have been using Lake City Air for several years. Yes, this company is busy! but they are very interested in developing long term customers by being completely honest and providing both the most appropriate and most economical service to their customers. They really understand both the technical side and the human side of their business. They do not generally try to upsell like is common in many service industries. I had an experience where Elite Air analysed my system and recommended a complete attic unit replacement at $4000.00. Lake City Air was subsequently called and found there was a failing circuit board. They repaired it - and it lasted for three years more. They replaced the circuit board last year at a cost of $800.00 and I expect this unit to last for another 5-10 years. I will continue to use them because I trust them to give me an honest and cost effective analysis and repair. read more

Oh my God! I tried to get these guys to come out for a month and a half. They always had some other plan. After not being able to fit me in for six weeks, I gave them four days I would be home in the week, all I asked for was mornings- they called me the night before a afternoon on the wrong day they were supposedly willing to offer me, and of course, couldn't commit to anything later in the week!
