Krause installed our brand new AC unit approximately 1 month/ 5 weeks ago. They did an amazing job, they were quick, reliable and extremely respectable when they entered my home. We had a small issue with a wire that burnt on the unit and went without air conditioning August 31st through the evening. We gave them a call late at night, I also messaged the owners personal cell phone. By 6am I received a response via text telling me they would be at my house today! By 7:00 a.m. they were at my house by 7:30 my air conditioner was back up and running! They are quick to respond, always on time, no goofing off they get the job done and they get the job done right. After being almost taken advantage of by another AC company, Krause's owner not only called me personally after hours to help with my AC problem, but sent his best team out to immediately and correctly diagnose what was going on with my unit. Alfredo and his team were exceptional! We had some trouble getting our heater to work. Called them over and were able to schedule an appointment on the same day. He came over and was able not only to diagnose the problem but to also offer us some options. The purchase of a new unit was the best option for us. The new heater was professionally installed in just a few hours by a group of experts the following day. What I did like besides the great customer service and the awesome value of the new unit, was the transparency Alfredo and his team have, something hard to find in most businesses these days. 6 Stars....when 5 is just not enough From the office staff to Pat the Tech, all very conscientious, polite, and professional. We called another company three times and could not even get a quote. Krause's was recommended to us by a very satisfied neighbor so we gave them a call. They arrived promptly and sent the quote within 24 hours. They were substantially below what we paid for a similar unit a couple of years ago so we moved forward. The installation was challenging because of the location and power but the finished product was excellent. We strongly recommend them and will use them in the future. read more

Krause's Air installed a new HVAC unit this month, and they did a great job. I live in a condo with a very small attic which holds the air handler. They had a crew of least four go up in the attic to replace the unit - I was impressed at their professionalism! They were quick and quiet, but also friendly and courteous - again, impressive! The outside unit was installed seamlessly. One of the owner/managers was GG who made it easy to answer questions about the job and manage the scheduling and payment. Three times our Company has used Krause's Air Conditioning Service. First was a Holiday weekend and they came out right away found the problem and was able to find the part and fix that day. Second was to get a bigger Air Conditioner for our walk in storage. Scheduling and installation went flawlessly. Krause's Air Conditioning company does an excellent job selling their equipment, but, their follow up is terrible. Eight days ago at 5:20am I turned my new electronic RUUD furnance on to heat my home. 2 or 3 minutes later my smoke alarms came on. The smell of something burning was awfully strong. My security company was automatically notified by my alarm system. They called the fire department on my behalf. My house smelled like it was on fire. The smell of something burning was coming from my new furnace. I notified Krause several times that the Captain of our Fire Department mention that our furnace was making an unusual noice. It's been 8 days from my 1st call to Krause. I have been told 3 different times that someone is coming. No one has been here. Yesterday I was told someone was on their way and they would be here by 1pm. Then at 3:30 I was told they would be here between 3 and 4pm. No one showed up and no one called. read more

We purchased a new Trane A/C from Krause Air Conditioning Service. At the time we asked about warranty information and Bob Krause said "don't worry I take care of that." In the meantime we have had issues with our Trane A/C and it turns out Krause never bothered to register our unit. I called Trane and they said that if a unit is not registered within 60 days, there is no way to register the warranty. Not knowing this at the time, I continued to use Krause A/C and had a very bad experience with his company. I found out yesterday when I called another certified Trane dealer for service that Krause never registered my unit. read more

I have used Krause's Air for years. Bobby knows his stuff and his lead tech, Pat, is highly skilled and those guys have done all my installs. I recently used the company which is now under the command of Alfredo. A rare installation of a new system had some problems and went wrong. I realize that projects can sometimes go wrong, like one out of 30, and it's the 29th one that happened to me. But these guys came back out, evaluated the problem, identified and corrected the install. Although there was some collateral damage from the initial failure, Alfredo was either calling or banging on the door to repair and get things back to normal. He was good on his word and has scheduled a crew to fix everything that was effected by the install. This is how good contractors stay in business and become partners in the community we live in. I will continue to partner with Krause's Air and anybody reviewing this review should truly call them out to service your home whether there is an issue with your existing unit or a new install. Krause's Air Conditioning installed a $4500 HVAC unit in a home we owned and were in the process of selling. They lied about its condition, saying the existing one wasn't working (we have an inspection report showing it does), and their lie forced us to purchase a new unit for the buyer, costing us $4500, which is completely unethical. They admitted lying to us directly, but proceeded lying during closing, and their lie cost us $4500!!! BUYER BEWARE of this company!!! They will lie and steal your money. DETAILS: Krause's Air Conditioning lied to get a buyer a new HVAC system (for a home we were selling). Their lie cost our company $4500. We were selling a house in Boulder City NV. In the inspection period, the buyer hired an HVAC company to inspect the HVAC system. We were also present at the meeting, when the owner of the Krause's, Bob Krause, told me after the inspection it was working fine. The buyer decided after the report to ask Bob Krause's to lie and say it wasn't working so he could get us to pay to install a brand new system, at the cost of $4500. So Bob Krause changed his story and said he went back to the property and tested the thermometer and the HVAC did not come on when the thermostat indicated it needed to, which was a complete lie. When we called to ask him why he changed his story all of a sudden, he told us over the phone that the buyer made him lie so he could get a new one. We have evidence in the form of a realtor lockbox report that shows he NEVER re-entered the property like he said he did. We also have our inspection report from a licensed inspector showing the existing HVAC unit worked perfectly, just like Bob Krause's also told us both in person during and after his inspection. He is a licensed contractor and he lied to get us to pay him $4500 for the buyer of the property to get a new HVAC when it was not necessary. He told us we would work it out after the closing, he would pay us, but now he will not return our calls and have the business integrity to pay what he owes us. Kraus's Air Conditioning should pay us the entire $4500 he owes us for lying to make us pay for a HVAC unit that was not necessary in a real estate transaction, but instead he will not return our calls. He is a licensed contractor and knows he should not be lying to get work, that is against his code of conduct as a contractor, according to NV State law.
